And you should because Trump’s childish “I want to have my way” behavior is what is keeping the Federal government shut down by 25%, impacting the economy, safety, commerce, over 800,000 unpaid federal workers and as many as 2 million contractors. That impacts what you buy, prices, airline and travel safety, IRS refunds, crime, national security, drugs, the food stamp program, food inspections, farmers, auto inspections and a whole list of other things you may not have even heard about.
Here are the facts. Feel free to copy and share them, especially with zombie blind Trump supporters in denial who have no clue as to how he has brainwashed them and detached them from reality.

Trump says HE is to blame:
1. In 2017 the Congress gave 1.3 billion for border security and Trump only used 6% of it.
2. In 2018 the Congress on both sides agreed to a unanimous spending bill that Trump indicated he would sign. Then suddenly he changed his mind.
3. Experts agree that a wall is not the solution but just a band-aid.
4. As much as 80% of illegal immigrants are in America because of 
expired Visas and most did not come across the Mexico border.
5. The Democrats are not against border security. That is a talking point narrative lie that trump keeps circulating. Democrats in Congress have voted for and funded border security. They also support a comprehensive immigration plan that includes border security, enhanced fences, drones, more personnel where needed, satellite oversight etc.
January 11, 2018 there was a bipartisan offer to fund Trump’s wall for a year in exchange for a pathway to citizenship for DACA
January 19, 2018 Schumer offers Trump over $20 billion for border security in exchange for pathways to citizenship.
February 14, 2018 There was a bipartisan offer of $25 billion for border security in exchange for pathway to citizenship.
ALL REJECTED BY TRUMP unless he can have his way. And over 800,000 Americans are working for free, on furlough or losing pay because of TRUMP’s GOVERNMENT SHUTDOWN for a wall he said MEXICO would pay for. Trump idiot gullible supporters believe whatever lies he tells them.
6. DONALD TRUMP SAID MEXICO WOULD PAY FOR THE WALL – not America. The he said America must pay for the wall. Then he said Mexico will pay us back for the wall through other means. But he is just talking and lying because he has not presented a plan as to how this would happen. Just words that his supporters are stupid enough to fall for.
7. Illegal Canadians, Europeans, Asians and Africans who came to America are not being targeted by Trump for incarceration and labeling as murders and rapists – only Hispanics are being targeted as a group.
8. A wall cannot cover the entire almost 2,000 mile border so it does not solve the problem at the border. It cannot be built in rivers. Plus boats, planes, tunnels and expired Visas are ways around Trump’s idiotic wall.
9. The idiotic Trump wall won’t deter migration because what is encouraging migration is desperation in fleeing from dangerous countries, not the absence of a wall or democrats.
10. Trump’s government shutdown is hurting American government workers and their families but he does not care because he is like a child who wants to have his way. Trump is a child!

11. Trump said the wall is already being built. That is a lie. Repairs to existing barriers have begun but not Trump’s new wall.
12. Trump says walls work and references Israel’s walls to prove his point. That is a bad comparison because the barrier that Israel has between Israel and Egypt has regular incursions under it, through it and over it. And it is not even nearly as long as the almost 2,000 mile wall Trump wants for America. And some of the area where Trump pretends that a wall would work are actually through bodies of water and will not work.
13. Trump has not shown any immediate threat nor crisis to national security from the border with Mexico. He has lied, emphasized a few bad cases of crime by illegal immigrants and managed to stereotype Hispanics enough to scare his base. It is not a crisis simply if he wants to call it one. And racists are using Trump’s lies to expose their hatred and racism.
14. How dumb is it to build a wall between two countries that are allies? Fencing and slats can be changed or removed but a medieval expensive wall would be much harder.
15. Trump wants 5.6 billion for the wall but estimates shown it would cost much more. Yet Trump keeps saying we will do it all at once when he knows 5.6 billion will not do that. Again more Trump lies for his gullible base of mindless zombies.
16. Trump’s acting Chief of Staff on 1/6/19 just said the 5.6 billion is for border security including the wall. That is not what Trump is saying. Trump is saying the money is for the wall. Then he flip flops from concrete to steel to slats in order to confuse the issue and his base falls for it.
17. Trump lied yet again and said some of the past presidents said they were in favor of the wall and should have done it themselves. But all of the living presidents were asked about this and they all said they did not say any such thing.

18. Trump is now changing up his story to call it a barrier or a fence or border protection or whatever. This is not what he promised originally. He promised “a WALL, a big beautiful wall” that MEXICO would pay for. Now he is changing the con.
19. Fact: Most of the terrorists are caught at airports, not the Mexico border. Fact: Most of the illegal immigration is from expired overstayed Visas. Most of the drugs come through ports of entry, not simply the Mexico border.
20. The State Department 2016 Country Reports on Terrorism says “no credible information that any member of a terrorist group has traveled through Mexico to gain access to the United states”.
21. The Airline Pilots Association has stated that the Trump shutdown is a risk to safety. TSA agents working without pay are calling out sick.
22. If the Trump shutdown goes into or past February, it is estimated that 38 million food stamp recipients may likely be affected. Does little boy Trump care about these Americans? Can he even relate to their suffering and the suffering of the 800,000 government workers he is holding hostage until he gets his way? No!
23. Even the Congressman whose district includes the largest stretch of border between America and Mexico has said the wall is not the solution.
24. If Trump really believes a wall would work, it’s because he thinks he knows everything. He said he knew more than the generals. Wrong. He said he knew more about technology than anybody else. Wrong. He said we have already defeated ISIS. Wrong. They just killed 4 of our soldiers in January, 2019 in Afghanistan.
25. If Trump had the truth on his side (he is a serial liar so how could he), he should have commissioned a bi-partisan committee along with a rep from Homeland Security, CBP, INS and ICE to research the matter and compile a comprehensive report. Then he should have had all those from other agencies who agree submit a letter of agreement or support. Trump is no deal maker. He lied about that too and he just wants his way like a child.
WE SHOULD GIVE TRUMP A WALL ALRIGHT – A PRISON WALL
I am not an Democrat but I know the Democrats cannot give in to Trump’s demands. If they do, he will use the same tactics again to manipulate and control the government. If they do, they can forget about leverage for dreamers/DACA and fair immigration reform. If they do, Trump will continue to pop up with ideas that have no studies done, no official reports and no majority support from Americans. If the Democrats give in, Trump will have gained even more power and that must not happen. Trump is the reason for the government shutdown and it is not about a wall. it is really about
(1) discrimination against Hispanics
and
(2) little boy Trump having his way so he can gain even more power and control.
