Eminem What’s Next.

(ThyBlackMan.com) Sometimes we wonder what’s happened to our favorite MC when it seems they may have gone silent. I’m pretty sure fans of Eminem wonder when, or of, the artist will give tem some new music. Right now many are running on the musical highs of J. Cole or the Eminem praised Kendrick Lamar. Fans are always ready for new music, but honestly I haven’t really been the biggest Eminem fan.

I respect the lyrical soundness of Eminem’s music, and I understand why his fans love him. I guess I just feel like his range of subject matters is very small and it’s a repetitive I can’t deal with. When Eminem sits out to pen another album I’m hoping he will take the climate of society into consideration, or simply change the themes he works with.

Every artist should be allowed to explore their creativity fully. I feel like Eminem explores with delivery, but not much with subject content. Granted no person stays the same so who knows life may be giving him more to talk about.

There are rumors that an album that might be titled “Success” is coming soon. Well I’m hoping, if that’s the title, the album won’t be dark. I’m probably on the 1% that doesn’t call Eminem a rap God. I know most will disagree but what I feel is repetitive themes is an annoying.

I’m also hoping we won’t hear about his issues with Nick Cannon. Common, and A Tribe Called Quest are legends that have recently dropped albums and I look e them both. So I’m hoping Eminem gives us an album that says I am a legend in this. I’m interested in what he has to say, and I know many others are too.

Bottom line is I don’t like a lot of the new artists that are coming out with the mumble rap where by everyone does nothing but bite each other. I look forward to rappers I know, and respect, dropping to albums if for nothing else we get to listen to real hip hop.
