( Xbox One Games With Gold free games for June 2017 include titles like SpeedRunners, Watch Dogs, Dragon Age: Origins and Assassin’s Creed III. June’s line-up of free games for Gold subscribers will go live on June 1. However the full lineup will be available on different dates, here’s when players can get the free games for June 2017.

The first two games coming to the console are SpeedRunners and Assassin’s Creed III. Additionally, there will be a Phantom Dust DLC available for free throughout the month. SpeedRunners and Phantom Dust DLC will be available from June 1 to June 30. But the Assassin’s Creed III will be available only for the first 15 days.

From the June 16 to June 30, Dragon Age: Origins will be available on Xbox 360 and One, while the fourth game Watch Dogs will be available for a month. From June 16 to July 15, the original Watch Dogs game will be available for the Xbox Games With Gold subscribers. Here’s what to expect from the games.

SpeedRunners is a multiplayer racing game with side-scrolling mechanics. The game has received several awards and was also nominated for some. SpeedRunner won Gamer’s Voice Award in the SXSW Gaming Award in 2015. The game also received 2014’s Best Multiplayer Game Award. Developed by DoubleDutch Games, SpeedRunner is available on different platforms and is rated well.

Watch Dogs

The video game series by Ubisoft’s is one of the most successful franchises by the developer. The original game is coming in June on the Xbox One as a part of Xbox Games With Gold program. The open world action-adventure game was released in 2014, and last year, the company released its sequel. The game is designed in a way that it allows players to explore different areas of the city, suburbs, countryside and nearby towns as well.

Assassin’s Creed III

Another jewel from Ubisoft coming to Xbox 360 in June is Assassin’s Creed III. The fifth installment in the game series is a direct sequel to the Assassin’s Creed: Revelations, which was released on 2011.  The game is playable on the Xbox One through backwards compatibility. Set in an open world environment, the game primarily focuses on the combat between Desmond and Connor. The game also showcases stealth abilities of these characters.

Dragon Age: Origins

A role-playing video game developed by Bioware, was released in 2009 and is playable on the Xbox One through backwards compatibility. As a part of the Xbox Games With Gold for June 2017 lineup, the game will be available on the Xbox 360 as well. The third-person game puts players in different situations and the player also meets different companions who dramatically change the game’s plot and gameplay throughout the game.

Phantom Dust DLC

Gold members will get a free multiplayer DLC pack for Phantom Dust.  The DLC would normally cost US$14.99. The game is re-released on Xbox One and Windows 10 for free. The best thing about this re-release is that the original game is not changed to a great extent. The game still works in the way the original Phantom Dust does. The remastered version is there to add more convenience for the players. Since the original game features single player gameplay but lacks the charm of rapidly growing eSports, the Phantom Dust brings the multiplayer element as well.

Overall, the Xbox Games With Gold subscribers are going to get massive amount of great content to play in June. The arrival of AAA titles in the month has made fans happy, and choosing to pay for the subscription doesn’t seem to be a decision someone would want to regret for. As the competition with Sony is growing day by day, Microsoft is making sure that its current users won’t leave it, while it is successfully managing to attract new players as well.
