(ThyBlackMan.com) Surely we’ve all heard the phrase “the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach” and most women aim to learn a thing or two in the kitchen for this reason alone. I can recall as a youth hearing that a woman had to know how to cook good food if she ever desired to become and remain a man’s wife.

Interestingly, the average woman is a chef in her kitchen yet married/committed to a man whose suffering from some type of diet related illness such as high blood pressure, diabetes, heart disease, high cholesterol or cancer.

What good is it to go through a man’s stomach to reach his heart if in the end what you fill him with causes pain, distress and suffering in the end? We usually take things at surface level, failing to explore the greater depths of quotes we have learned in our childhood.

While the stomach is notoriously associated with food, it is also the home of the solar plexus chakra. Chakras are spiritual energy centers in the human body, which attract experiences into our day to day reality. They hold our life force energy and within the stomach sits the solar plexus chakra which is our power house. The

solar plexus is where we transform our thoughts into action. It’s the center of our personality, self-acceptance, self-love and our worth.

Truly the way to a man’s heart isn’t through the food you prepare to fill his stomach but rather the spiritual guidance, nurturing, support,

wisdom and love you send into his stomach (solar plexus) chakra.

So How Exactly Do We Reach His Heart Through His Stomach?

1)   Strengthen His Confidence – This doesn’t mean you sell the a man a dream, if you know math isn’t his strong suit it’s probably not the wisest thing to encourage him to pursue a career in accounting. Confidence is built when you constantly applaud him for the things that he is excellent at, natural qualities that he may overlook at times. Constantly reminding him of his success rather than speaking on the negative. At all times we as women should be building men up rather than tearing them down. We benefit more from a man who knows exactly who he is, what he desires to do and how he’s going to get it done.

2)   Exploring His Personal Power – Not every man is a natural born leader! It’s important to put your partner in positions where he must make decisions concerning his family and act as the sole authority. Everything shouldn’t be negotiable and not everything should be up for discussion. This is a much easier process when you choose a partner who you ‘trust’ to make good decisions. Giving a man the support necessary to stand in his power within his home prepares him to do so within society. This is why its said “behind every great man is a greater woman”. Behind merely represents the loving support, the driven force, the constant reminder, the encourager, the divine feminine that assists him in steering his ship which holds her family.

3)   Increasing His Will Power – This is a man’s drive in life, his willpower determines his ability to care for his family, to accomplish his desired goals, to build within his community and to safeguard himself from making bad decisions. As his partner, you can assist in increasing his will power by consistently setting weekly goals with him and following through. Create a daily ritual that includes exercise, prayer and meditation as a unit. The more aware you are of your partner’s vision in life, the easier it will be to support and assist them in succeeding.

4)   Enhance His Creativity – Encourage him to try new things that fit his personality. Enroll in a yoga or martial arts class together. The couples sip & stroke classes can spark creativity within the bedroom as well as the boardroom. Delve into the realm of the tantric sexual arts. The more you take him outside of his mind, the more capable he is to tapping into his imagination which leads to explosive creativity.

“No nation can rise above the level of its women”, truly its time to feed our men something more sustaining and filling than physical food.

Godspeed.
