Anyone who’s ashamed of being seen with you – no matter the reason – doesn’t deserve to date you. The last thing you need is to be someone’s dirty little secret.
DO Ignore the “Fetishists”
While it may seem cool at first to be approached by a super-hot person who tells you that it’s always been their fantasy to “be” with someone like you, you don’t really want someone like that in your life. Most of the time, these people are just looking to experiment with their own pre-conceptions about race and color. You deserve a lot more than being someone else’s trial run. DON’T Be closed-minded
Though it’s important to make sure that you’re not just dating someone for the color of their skin, or the other way around, it’s also a good idea to stay open-minded. You might not have dated anyone outside of your ethnic background before, but if you see someone that you think is fun, attractive, and interesting, then nothing should stop you from giving it a go!
