When Nene Leakes left RHOA, she told PEOPLE “Me and my husband have been going back and forth on it for weeks now. But my contract is up and I just think this is the right time. This is my opportunity to spread my wings and do different things”.
Real Housewives Of Atlanta Nene Leakes definitely has done a variety of different things, including GLEE on ABC Family, The New Normal on NBC and a new game show named “To Tell the Truth” which is set to air in 2016. Nene Leakes also released her clothing line on HSN called The Nene Leakes Collection in February of 2014.

when she popped up on them during their retreat at Moon Palace Jamaica Grande Hotel in Ocho Rios, Jamaica. Sources say “everyone was very surprised to see her, but definitely friendlier than expected”.
Sources told TMZ that RHOA producers called Nene Leakes during early October pleading for her to bring some excitement back to show whose ratings have dropped drastically since Nene left the show.
During a recent interview with PEOPLE, Real Housewives Of Atlanta Nene Leakes stated “I never sacrificed who I was as a person. I never sacrificed Nene. I feel like so many girls come on reality TV and they sacrifice and change so much. I never changed who I was for a story line or a paycheck or anything. I feel good about that”.
Real Housewives Of Atlanta Nene Leakes embodies a homegirl type energy on the show. She’s authentic in the way she communicates what’s on her mind saying whatever she pleases with the boldness to back it up.
HollywoodLife.com polled RHOA viewers asking if they were happy Nene Leakes was returning to the show, 76.62% voted yes. The 8th season of RHOA will air on Sunday, November 8th @ 8 p.m. on Bravo.
