When your side piece has a baby: Donald Trump and the Republican Party.

(ThyBlackMan.com) It’s funny how the GOP is in disarray right now and running scared because Donald Trump has a very good chance of becoming their republican nominee for the president of the United States. But get this, they are the very reason why he has catapulted to the top. They only need to look in the mirror. They call him bullheaded. Correct me if I’m wrong but has the Republican controlled GOP been the cause of the stalemate in Washington for the past four years?

Numerous times they have not wanted to work President Obama on resolving issues such as gun control and immigration…..causing the President to have to exert his Executive Power. That stubbornness sounds like Trump to me. How many times has the GOP denied the president’s nominations to certain posts? How many times did Boehner act childish because he couldn’t get his way? That relentlessness to “have it their way or the highway” Sounds like Donald Trump to me.

Now they have met their match in Donald Trump who is……wait a minute…..in many ways a reflection of them. So what is the problem? Why are they so anxious to “knock him out the block?” asDonaldTrump2016USAFLAG Slick Rick would say. Sure, Trump is a little brash and not an “eloquent” speaker but he has got the attention of millions of Americans who are tired of “business as usual” in Washington. Those who were born into politics, or as I like to call them, “professional politicians” (i.e. Jeb Bush) are no longer appealing to the masses.

They want someone who speaks their mind and doesn’t spew out the usual political jargon. Donald Trump says what a lot of people think and feel but just don’t want to say publically. He’s struck a chord in the hearts of many of our scared “Caucasian brethren”. They are scared of affirmative action, they are scared of being the minority to the Hispanic population, and just scared of losing power in a world they used to have control over.

I’m just saying that the GOP should just sit back and re-assess things. Realize that if they’re honest with themselves and see that Trump is no different from them then maybe they can come together and try to figure this thing out. Right now with the way things are going, he’ll be the Republican nominee. They just need to blow their cover, accept the fact that he’s saying what a lot of them feel, and try to figure out a way to win the Presidency together.

Oh, and congratulations Hillary Clinton for being our first female president.
