No one really knows for sure when Nicki Minaj and Meek Mill first hooked up, some say 2009. But regardless of the date, the two have actually been hot and heavy for a while.
All eyes are constantly on this couple, from the beef with Drake to their current struggles. It seems that Meek has to deal with pending legal issues that might land him behind bars.
Nicki Minaj’s man is now facing possible jail time. Apparently Meek 
Mill has violated his parole by leaving town without permission. The rapper was required to obtain a travel voucher to leave Philadelphia and he failed to do so.
His choice to leave town without permission has caused him to violate his parole and this put him on lockdown for quite a while. Meek Mill joined his woman, Nicki Minaj at the American Music Awards in LA without contacting his parole officer.
Being the ride or die chick that she is, Nicki Minaj was seen in court supporting her boo. Nicki along with others were present to support MeekMill and to convince the judge to give him another chance. Nicki watched as Meek Mill pleaded with the judge asking not to be sentenced to jail time.
So it seems that his livelihood and freedom could be on the line. Nicki Minaj told the judge that she can keep him on the straight and narrow and that he is turning his life around with her by his side.
“Meek Mill doesn’t have a lot of structure. He can be irresponsible,” Nicki Minaj, 33, testified last week. “Since I’ve come in his life, I think I’ve been working on that a little bit. … He’s just getting accustomed to being an adult”.
Maybe the judge will give Meek Mill another chance. Also hopefully come February 16th the day of his upcoming ruling, he and Nicki Minaj can walk away knowing they will not be separated due to jail time. And maybe he will also learn just because your lady is Nicki Minaj you still have to follow the rules.
