(ThyBlackMan.com) Judge Ngayaboshya was born in SHYIRA in 1914. His date of birth is known due to the records of the White Fathers who came to Shyira region for envangelisation.

His parents were Mr Ntahondi and Mrs Nyiranyoni.

SCHOOL AND BAPTISM.

In 1924, Judge Ngayaboshya enrolled in primary school at BIHEMBE (Shyira) Primary School.

In 1929, He decided to get baptised in the Catholic Church and chose Pierre as a Christian Name and NDORIMANA THADEE as God Father(Parrain). Afte­r his baptism, he was successfully admitted to the seminary after passing his exams with flying colours. He joined the congregation of Josephite Brothers where he stayed for three(3) years.

TEACHING.

From 1932-36, he taught a RUMBARA Primary School. From 1936 to 1954, he was a Teacher a MURAMBA Primary School. In January 1954, after 22 years in teaching,Judge Ngayaboshya disagreed with the Head Master of MURAMBA Primary School. He confronted him over funds’ misappropriation and their relationship soured from there onwards.

He got married to ISABELLE NYIRANDEZE in 1934. God bless him with three(3) children-two girls and a boy from this marriage.
Isabelle Nyirandeze met an untimely death in 1941.

He remarried in 1942. From his relationship with THERESE NYIRUHUNGO, he had eight(8) children-six(6) boys and two(2) girls.

MODERN COFFEE PLANTANTION AND BUSINESS.

He became a coffee farmer and businessman from 1954-1960.He reported 1200 (CAFEIERS) in 1958. After he refused to work with GATANAZI’s Deputy Chief in his business, he was persecuted under the umbrella of GATANAZI-SEBERA for five(5) years.

FREEDOM FIGHTER.

Judge Ngayaboshya met up with Rwandan Freedom Fighters in July 1957.He was told to oversee BANYAKINGOGO et was invited to the National Council where he was one of the signatories of the letter addressed to King Mutara Rudahigwa detailing the Muhutu-Mututsi problem (March 1958).

Because of this, enemies of democracy decided to assassinate him but God chose to keep him alive.He survived numerous assassination attempts.

THE JUDICIARY.

Judge Ngayaboshya became Principal Magistrate of Canton(NGORORERO) on 21/12/1959.In February 1961,he was again named Principal Magistrate of Canton (KABAYA).

In June 1961, he became Principal Magistrate of the TRIBUNAL DE PREMIERE INSTANCE of Gisenyi.He held this post up to July 1962.

From 1962 up to his death,he was a JUDGE at the COUR D’APPEL DE KIGALI.

DECORATIONS.

On the 05/04/1954, the Vice-Governor of Rwanda-Urundi conferred him with LE MEDAILLE DE SERVICE.

On 01/07/1987-He was posthumously conferred with MEDAILLE DE CHEVALIER DE L’ORDRE NATIONAL DES MILLE COLINES by President Habyarimana.
