Racism: America In Denial.

(ThyBlackMan.com) As I sat and listened to Hannity on the radio recently, a Caucasian wealthy commentator, I just shook my head. He is representative of so many people in this country in denial because they cannot stomach the racism that exists in America. So they hide from it, make light of it or make the racism that exists isolated incidents. Then, to make things worse, there are the Sambos and Uncle Toms who dance for Mass – the Herman Cains, the Steve Harveys etc. The good boys who do what they are told so they will get a few extra scraps before they are locked up in the barn til monin. They are opportunists who ride on the backs and step on the heads of African-Americans for a nice shiny new nickel and to impress the people who rule over them. They lack identity and embody subconscious self-hatred.

IF YOU CAN REACH STEVE HARVEY, HERMAN CAIN OR SHAUN HANNITY, SEND THIS ARTICLE TO THEM

I have to say that I am definitely not a racist and I am usually objective, fair and balanced. But these people make me sick to my stomach. An African-American who ignores racism and instead blames African-Americans for all of our problems is worse than a racist because he is a traitor to his own kind. Yes as a counselor I am hard on our people, but fair and honest because we are capable of excellence. But the people aforementioned are brainwashed kiss-ups who tear our people down while neither offering hope nor solutions. if there was ever a time for us to stand together, it is now. But if we don’t a part of me says we will be getting what we deserve when they continue to turn back the hands of progress.

Racism is alive and well as seen all around us. It is covert and overt, institutional and financial, political and in the courts and police stations. I do not always agree with President, but I must say one good thing is that his presidency has shaken the tree and made the racists drop off, sticking their little wormy heads out of the apple. I have never seen such disrespect in my life, even when our people talked about Bush. And what’s even worse is when African-Americans join in the personal insults instead of sticking to critical analysis on the issues.

Many of our people contribute to their own incarceration, demise and oppression, that’s true. But those Caucasians who are racist (not all) are in no moral position to judge African-Americans. They say many of our people steal laptops and iphones and cars – and that may in fact be true for some of us. But the racist imperialist expansionists steals lives and countries and religions and ideologies Racism-2015-WHATisRacismand inventions and futures. They create the climate that is a catalyst bear trap for our people in the first place. Is any of that an excuses for our people doing the wrong thing, especially towards each other? No, but it is a fact and a reason that contributes to sociological patterns of counterproductive behavior. Control a man’s options then limit those options and he will choose from a list of self-sabotaging poisons.

Yes many of our people are incarcerated, but some are not guilty, some are guilty and others had a public “pretender” who sold them out. I have seen it more than you know. Recently I wrote an article for ThyBlackMan.com entitled WE ALL LIVE IN ALABAMA and I hope you take the time to read it. Every day we are reminded that racism exists and anyone who thinks it doesn’t is clueless. I am not a pessimist, I am a realist and things have not change as much as people would like to believe. O.J. Simpson found that out and so did Bill Cosby, Michael Jackson and Michael Vick. And Tiger Woods may not know it yet, but you can bet there are whispers all over the gold course when he plays in a tournament.

I am not saying that all Caucasian people are racists. In fact is likely that a great many of them have done more to help us than our own people have. Many of them marched in the civil rights movement, hid slaves and helped them escape, risked their own lives and taught slaves how to read. But those are not the invaders who capture slaves, kill Indians and enslave entire races or ethnic groups. We should not forget, we must not forget and we cannot forget because much of the past exists right here and now in Ferguson, Florida, Ohio, Chicago, New York, Alabama, Mississippi and all over this country.

THIS COUNTRY CAN ONLY BE AS GREAT AS THE FOUNDATION IT WAS BUILT UPON

So what can you do about racism? The first thing you can do is to decide you are not going to accept it. Next you can know your rights. You can bring others together and unify. You can teach your children to avoid falling into stereotypes, to pull their pants up, to stop buying, listening to or supporting TV and music that degrades our women and emasculates our men (including Empire). A lot of this is not expression – it’s slave mindset programmed self-destructive garbage Nikki Minage. You can know where your children are, what they are doing and who is influencing them online, in video games and anywhere else.

You can have respect for yourself and our people by dressing like you know and acting like you know. You can start businesses, launch visions and bring your own dreams to pass – not just those of Martin Luther King Jr. You can stay in school, learn as much as you can then use it to get ahead in ways that do not put you at risk. You can run for political office and equalize the playing field. You can become that police officer who does the right thing instead of just talking about those who don’t. You can push the drugs sold by our people and brought in by the other people right out of our communities. You can stop fitting into the stereotype they expect you to fit in. You can keep your head clear, stop smoking weed and start getting high on succeed. You can combat racism where ever you find it by writing about it, speaking about it or filing complaints and lawsuits. You can take a stand and make a step in the right direction. You can make a difference in your school, in your children, in your community. And you can refuse to accept racism. FINALLY, YOU CAN SHARE THIS ARTICLE WITH EVERYONE YOU KNOW!
