(ThyBlackMan.com) Jay Z often makes headlines due to his self- acquired fame as well as his marriage to Beyonce. His most recent foray into the headlines occurred when he put in a bid on a music company only for the company to turn him down flat. Though he made a $56 million bid the company is simply not interested. Had they accepted his bid he would have owned 90% of the company. The company’s minority owners felt that the bid Jay Z proposed was not equal to the company’s future value.
He has also recently made headlines stemming from a 21 year old man’s claim that Jay Z is his biological father. The young man has been fighting since 2010 to prove that he is the rapper’s son. In years past Jay Z was able to avoid taking a DNA test to prove or disprove the young man’s claim. There is currently a civil suit 
against Beyonce’s husband in which the young man’s family claims that he gave false information to the courts so that he wouldn’t have to take a paternity test, which is leaving many to speculate that he may be the biological father.
Aside from his own battles, Jay Z has also made headlines lately due to ongoing rumors that wife Beyonce is pregnant with the couple’s second child. This rumor has been fueled for several months in light of Beyonce having posted a picture to her Instagram account in which she was seen at the beach, with her stomach buried in the sand. Jay Z himself didn’t help the rumors in the fall of 2014 when, during a concert performance, he changed his song lyrics to mention that “she” is pregnant once again.
Despite the pregnancy rumors running rampant there have also been rumors that Jay Z and Beyonce were divorcing. These rumors have been spread as far back as January of 2014. At the time it was rumored that the divorce was pending due to alleged cheating. As of now, there seems to be no truth to either the divorce rumor or the pregnancy rumor.
With all of the drama and rumors surrounding Jay Z his career hasn’t seemed to slow down or suffer any. Between himself and Beyonce they are a power couple that makes the news regardless of what they do. The media seemingly can’t get enough of Jay Z & Beyonce.
