(ThyBlackMan.com) Fathering a child has changed Jay Z in many ways. The rapper, businessman, and Hip Hop legend stated in a rhyme the following regarding no longer using the word B*tch in his rhyme schemas:

Before I got in the game, made a change, and got rich/ I didn’t think hard about using the word bitch/ I rapped, I flipped it, sold it, I lived it/ Now with my daughter in this world I curse those that give it/ No man will degrade her, or call her name/ I’m so focused on your future, the degradation has passed. / I wish you wealth, health and insight. / Forever young you may pass. / Blue Ivy Carter, my angel.

It takes a lot for a rapper to remove certain lyrics that they are known to use in their work to make a statement. However, on his latest album, Watch The Throne he has a track entitled, ‘That’s My Bitch’ featured on it. Is it okay for  him to call his woman out her name but not his daughter?

Time will tell in regard to his wife’s thoughts on this issue and the rapper’s contradictions. Jay Z brought it all the table in regard to not going there with his vocabulary. This does not mean that he is not a good father though clearly he has not stopped using the term all the way.

As a father it has been reported that Jay Z loves his daughter to the umpteenth power. He and his wife have spent droves of money on her and she’s not even five years old yet. You can’t help but think that he is basking in the joy that he has due to the fact that Beyonce had several miscarriages before Blue Ivy Carter was conceived.

It is important that rappers show positive enlightenment in regard to maturity once they become fathers. Jay Z is one of those rappers that has made it a point to show that he loves his daughter “Blue Ivy Carter”. He even made a track about her after she was born and Blue Ivy Carter is on the track. The little one already has a song under her belt and she is still learning how to crawl.

With fame comes many responsibilities and it seems Jay Z is at least trying to make good on his word to do better with his lyrical gifts and then some.

Many will ask what constitutes a good father, well Jay Z is definitely proof that it can happen.
