(ThyBlackMan.com) No Man’s Sky Xbox One release is scheduled for July 24th. On the same day, developer Hello Games will release a new update for PC, PS4, and Xbox One platforms. This new update, No Man’s Sky Next, will be available for free and according to Hello Games, it is the biggest update yet.

Now when the game is in good shape and it has got so much content, we are excited about the No Man’s Sky Xbox One release. The game will be released with four major updates including NEXT, Atlas Rises, Pathfinder, and Foundation. Hello Games also confirmed that the game will be available in 4K on the Xbox One X.

No Man’s Sky NEXT & Multiplayer update

The multiplayer mode in No Man’s Sky is also coming. The multiplayer mode will allow players to join their friends online. Players will also be able to come across random players who are also exploring the same world from a different place. Players can team up, explore the world together, and work together to survive.

In the multiplayer mode, players will also be able to build bases. Since you will be playing with a group of people, there will be many opportunities to build bigger things such big buildings, colonies spread across more than one planet. Studio head Sean Murray also said that the base you build in the game will be available to others as they can also visit and see your creations.

As far as the multiplayer combat is concerned, No Man’s Sky players will be able to take up the role of a pirate or a wingman. Players can also get involved in racing as there are vehicles in the game. So, all you have to do is to design a race track and race against your friends. No Man’s Sky currently features limited multiplayer functionalities. But with this release, a full-fledged multiplayer experience is coming to all the platforms.

The No Man’s Sky Xbox One release announcement came as a surprise. The game was launched as console exclusive title on Sony’s PlayStation 4. Sean Murray also expressed his interest in a VR version of No Man’s Sky. It’s good that players on the Xbox One and Xbox One X will be able to enjoy this sci-fi exploration and survival game.

What’s in the 4 Major Updates?

If you haven’t played No Man’s Sky before, it’s noteworthy to mention that the game has received many updates in the past. The first free update was the Foundation update that improved base building part in the game. It also introduced a new farming system enabling users to grow and harvest crops. Some new resources and technologies were also added to the game with the Foundation update.

The Path Finder update adds planetary vehicles, ships and weapon specialization. It also adds a new permadeath mode to the game making the gameplay more stable. The third major update called Atlas Rises was released on the first anniversary of the game. This release can also be considered as the turning point for No Man’s Sky. Hello Games delivered almost everything they promised and Atlas Rises improved the game and added 30 plus hours of gameplay.

No Man’s Sky is one of the games you can never forget. When it was launched in August 2016 on PS4 and PC, the game sparked anger among fans due to lack of promised features. Studio head Sean Murray and his small team kept on working on the game. The studio rolled out many updates in the last two years including the most recent Atlas Rises on PS4 and PC.
