(ThyBlackMan.com) Democrats don’t want blacks to prosper under President Donald Trump.
As soon as President Trump signed the Republican Tax Cut and Reform Bill (a $1.5 trillion tax overhaul) into law, the liberal New York Times published an outlandish story accusing the president of making “disparaging” comments about black and Middle Eastern immigrants during the travel-ban controversy last June – insinuating false racism. The White House has repudiated the report and is aggressively pushing back.
Now that Donald Trump has achieved a major legislative victory, liberal Democrats are desperately looking for ways to derail the Trump train. They’re terrified that his “Make America Great Again” agenda will gain momentum and attract more black support.
Most Americans will see an increase in their take-home pay under the Trump Tax Cut and Reform Bill. Tax cuts for corporations and businesses mean higher wages and more jobs.
Yet Democrats are fit to be tied over the passage of the bill. Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., called the tax-cut bill “a disgrace” on the Senate floor.
Other liberal Democrats jockeying for position to run for president in 2020 took to Twitter and attacked Trump and Republicans for passing the bill.
Sen. Elizabeth Warren (a.k.a. Pocahontas): “It’s a heist. Let’s call this out for what it is: Government for sale.”
Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand: “In 2018, I hope you will channel your anger and energy into defeating those who voted to put their donors before hardworking middle-class families.”
Sen. Kamala Harris: “The Republican tax bill that passed the Senate is a travesty. It gives even more tax breaks to the top 1 percent and permanently cuts corporate tax rates at the expense of middle class families … ”
Sen. Cory Booker: “It’s an absolute travesty that Senate Republicans chose corporate profit over the American people tonight. We will not forget.”
Democrats didn’t protest or complain about the plight of the poor, blacks or the middle class under Barack Obama’s abysmal tenure. Even black liberal Tavis Smiley acknowledged that, in the era of Obama, blacks “lost ground in every major economic category.”
Incomes from 2009 to 2014 fell more for blacks than any other racial or ethnic group.
The following are some more unfortunate statistics about the decline of blacks under Obama cited by Deroy Murdock in National Review:
- During Obama’s tenure, the percentage of black Americans struggling below the poverty line advanced, according to the Census Bureau data, from 25.8 in 2009 to 26.2 in 2014 – up 1.6 percent.
- Real median income among black households during those years, according to the Census Bureau, sank from $35,954 to $35,398 – down 1.5 percent.
- The seasonally adjusted labor-force-participation rate for black Americans across the board slipped from 63.2 percent to 61.7 percent – down 2.4 percent.
- The number of black food-stamp participants exploded across that time frame from 7,393,000 to 11,699,000, the U.S. Department of Agriculture reports – up 58.2 percent.
- Also, from Obama’s swearing in through the fourth quarter of 2015, the percentage of black Americans who own homes plunged from 46.1 percent to 41.9 percent, according to the Census – down 9.1 percent.
Donald Trump has done more for black Americans in one year than Obama did in eight years!
Since the 2016 election, the black unemployment rate has fallen by a full percentage point in the last year, black labor-force participation is up, and the number of black Americans with a job has risen by 600,000 from last year. Black wages and incomes are also up. Trump is creating jobs and higher incomes, trying to give better educational opportunities to the poorest inner-city kids with school choice and vouchers, and making our cites safe again.
Democrats don’t want their constituents – especially black Americans – to see the truth about what this president is accomplishing. They don’t want them to know that the tax-reform bill, school choice, the border wall and other policies being promoted by this president will benefit them greatly. They don’t want blacks to succeed under a Trump presidency.
Blacks are the one group Democrats can count on to support them no matter what. Look at the Alabama special Senate election where 96 percent of black voters blindly followed Democrat talking points and voted for liberal Democrat Doug Jones.
Jobs, better schools, safe neighborhoods and less crime in the inner city under the leadership of a white conservative Republican is the Democrat’s worst nightmare! Democrats know that if blacks connect their prosperity, safety and success to Trump’s policies, they will lose black votes and power.
Kamala Harris, Cory Booker and other selfish Democrats only care about themselves; therefore, they keep lying and misleading blacks to keep them angry, blind and stuck on the Democrats’ plantation. They keep blacks in a perpetual state of anger with false allegations of “racism” (which doesn’t exist) to convince them that Donald Trump hates them and that Democrats are their saviors. It’s an evil and calculated agenda used to promote their selfish political desire for power and wealth.
I’m convinced that this president was sent by God to restore and unite our nation. This Christmas season and in the new year, black Americans should thank God for President Trump.

Many of you in general who support Mr. Trump avow that you are Christians as you do, that is worshiping the same God as I do. Nevertheless, what I have observed is hypocrisy when it comes to Mr. Trump’s well documented unrepentant sin of constantly lying and misrepresenting the truth. The Bible does not condone lying. So how you as a Pastor say,
“I’m convinced that this president was sent by God to restore and unite our nation. This Christmas season and in the new year, black Americans should thank God for President Trump.”
I simply find that strange! I mean how do you justify that with the teachings of Jesus Christ, when John 8:34 states: Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.
