(ThyBlackMan.com) In the four years since Rockstar last released the Grand Theft Auto 5 known as GTA 5, things have changed a lot. The Red Dead Redemption 2 is coming next year and its online mode will apparently be bigger than the GTA Online. Of course, fans are thrilled; interest in the upcoming game is so high. The arrival of the game is significant in many ways. Here’s what to expect when the Red Dead Redemption 2 launches.

The Competition Will Rise Against Grand Theft Auto V

The parent company Take-Two doesn’t think that the release of Red Dead Redemption 2 will be a threat to the GTA 5. At some point, the company doesn’t see the two games competing with each other as they are very different in nature and there’s a huge gap between their launch. What Take-Two thinks about the upcoming game is nothing strange as it calls it a part of the entertainment. So if someone is compelled to consume something and if they find something more, they will consume both, said Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick and smartly answered the investors’ questions regarding their concerns related to the new game’s online mode.

The studio launched GTA 5 in 2013 and soon after that the company introduced the online mode. According to the recent report by Superdata, GTA V is still topping the charts as one of the top games in 2017. Now when a massive open world game with a deep single-player experience is coming, there will be so much in the game. The delay in RDR 2 release also indicates that the company doesn’t want to damage the GTA 5’s earning potential at least till Q2 2018.

Rockstar Will Most Likely Announce GTA 6, the Grand Theft Auto V Successor

It’s not clear how many players still play GTA Online every week; the company hasn’t revealed anything about this. The player base could have declined in the last couple of months, but one thing is very sure that the game, more specifically the online mode is still earning great through micro transactions.

One thing is very clear that Rockstar will most likely announce GTA 6 next year. The company has been asked several times about the game’s development, but no concrete details are available. Whatever we know about the Grand Theft Auto VI is based on leaks and reports which can take a U-turn at any time.

The company has already made it clear that franchise won’t die anytime soon and practically, the company has plans for its future. Now when the Red Dead Redemption 2 is coming after some time, an announcement for GTA 6 will likely take place during E3 2018 or after that.

Red Dead Redemption 2 PC Release

Sooner or later, Red Dead Redemption 2 will likely come on PC. The developer still hasn’t confirmed the game’s PC version, but if the company follows the GTA 5 release pattern, it will happen. The Grand Theft Auto V release on PC happened in 2015, almost 19 months later. There are two things that can happen. Either the company will let GTA 5 rule the PC realm since the majority of the crowd in the game comes from this platform, or it will enable RDR 2 to arrive on both the console and PC platforms. It depends on how the franchise progresses.

Rockstar Will Likely Remain Neutral In the Single player space

It seems that Rockstar Games has lost interest in the single player and is more focused on the online mode. The way company neglected GTA 5 and shifted its focus to GTA Online clarified that the company will more likely go with the flow. The GTA Online which was criticized earlier has generated revenue the developers didn’t even expect. Now the RDR 2 is not going to be any different and for the future of the GTA franchise, there seems no other way than following what happened with the Grand Theft Auto V.
