(ThyBlackMan.com) The last year’s Apple iPhone SE will probably get a successor this year. There are chances that Apple could be bringing iPhone SE 2 if the leaked images and reports are something to go by. Another small-screened phone by Apple is expected to arrive sometime before the holiday season this year.
A few days back, several images surfaced, and everyone started speculating on the release of SE 2. Some of the reports suggest that the phone will be named iPhone SE 2 or iPhone SE Series 2. The design doesn’t reveal too much about the rumored iPhone, and Apple has not even confirmed whether any such phone is in 
production or not, but the images show that the phone will adopt some of the design aspects from iPhone 7 and will sport a single camera on the backside.
At this point, it is impossible to say anything about this release, but if the mobile phone is scheduled to come out this year, there are chances that the company would want to keep the release date after August. The reason because keeping the phone’s launch in third or fourth quarter will give more time to Apple to maintain the life of the original SE phone on store shelves for longer. The company introduced SE with double internal storage capacity this year and it has also started producing the SE in India, possibly to test the market.
When the leaked images appeared online, we were expecting Apple to unveil the phone at WWDC 2017. But the company didn’t do so. Now when this year’s event is a history, we expect that the company will probably introduce a new phone sometime during its September keynote. Since the reports about the arrival of the iPhone 8 are at peak, there are chances that Apple will bring both the phones on stage.
We look forward that Apple will keep the SE series alive. If the rumors are something to go by, the phone will surely come this year. We expect that Apple will go for an improved design on the old one. There are chances that the phone’s build will see a complete makeover because last time, the company did nothing more than just improving the internal storage capacity.
Some of the reports claim that the SE 2 will look completely different than its predecessor. The original phone adopts its design and style from the company’s iPhone 5S, this time, it is being expected that the new design will be a reflection of iPhone 7 or probably the company will go for a more innovative approach. The complete glass back is already a topic for discussions in tech world.
The Apple’s original SE phone features a 3.5mm audio jack and it is unlikely that Apple would want to consider removing it from the new SE phone, unless the company makes some drastic changes in the design. Regarding the phone’s battery, there are almost zero complaints about the performance. So, what Apple can do with the new SE 2 is just improving the battery life or optimizing the performance to embrace less battery consumption. Apple is apparently working on a new operating system, so there are high chances that the battery life of the new phone will be significantly improved.
Price tag is something that can make this potential release way more attractive than other phones in the market. Apple attracted many new iPhone adopters with the release of SE, so it is possible that the company will keep the price bar fair. The only drawbacks we observed in the original SE phone are the old design, not-so-good screen and influence of the previous generation phones. If Apple changes the way it looks at the iPhone SE this year, there are chances that the company will address these problems as well.
