(ThyBlackMan.com) No matter who wins the presidential election this November, a loathsome man will be moving into the White House.
Donald J. Trump, the presumed GOP nominee, is “an ignorant, dishonest, misogynistic, philandering, isolationist blowhard,” according to a prominent Republican donor who pledged he won’t give his party’s nominee any contributions.
And Bill Clinton is a dishonest, philandering, self-important blowhard, according to someone who defended his presidency in its darkest hours and watched his family leave the White House after his shame was made known and only the family dog would walk with him — yours truly.
I can characterize them both as simian species. Donald Trump resembles a big orange orangutan, — only orangutans are playful, fun-loving critters. The Donald is simply a stomach-churning beast. Bill Clinton is like a rare silverback gorilla, only it’s the hair on his head that’s silver.
Sadly, the spouses of those two sinister men are no prizes either. Nude photographs have been published of Trump’s current companion, Melania, his third wife. Bill Clinton’s wife — the likely Democratic candidate — is a prevaricating war hawk who never met a military conflict she didn’t like, but she’s better than that wretched Donald Trump.
Folks talk bad about President Barack Obama, but he and his scandal-free administration and picture-perfect family will be sorely missed when he leaves office and we get a good look at the family of his successor. I will certainly miss the breath of fresh air the Obamas were for the White House.
All the disgusting things I’ve heard about Donald Trump appear to be true, but all the corporate-owned media pundits talk as though he has a chance to win the presidency. None of the disgusting things he does and are reported at least several times each day seem to matter to his core supporters, and apparently not to other voters who think he will bring change to the government in Washington.
Bankruptcies, Nazi comparisons, Ku Klux Klan associations, total ignorance of policies and how the world operates — Trump almost embraces these things, rather than being made to denounce them.
Back when the Egyptian-Israeli peace accord was signed, several Arab countries denounced it as a bad deal for the Arabs, and a terrible deal for the Palestinians. With each passing day, with more and more and more illegal Israeli settlements being built on Palestinian land, and with Israel’s constant bullying of her neighbors in the name of “defense,” those characterizations appear to be correct.
Those recalcitrant Arab countries — Iran, Iraq, Libya and Syria — were known as “the steadfastness and rejection front.” Today, only Iran remains a viable state. All of them, with Afghanistan thrown in to boot, have been destroyed by U.S. military intervention, all with the support of Hillary Clinton.
We see the consequences of those wrongheaded decisions to illegally insert U.S. military power into the internal affairs of those countries, each and every day. Just last week, more than 200 innocent people were murdered in Turkey, Bangladesh and Iraq by so-called “Islamic State” madmen and women whose only aim in life now seem to be to kill and maim the weak and the vulnerable, hoping to incite a religious “holy war.”
Hillary Clinton voted to support the invasion of Iraq when she was a senator, and she singlehandedly drove Obama to help overthrow Libyan leader Muammar Qaddafi, and she supported a more robust U.S. role in Syria than the president has delivered. Now look at the pure mayhem those conflicts have caused. Weapons and disgruntled trained fighters from those places are everywhere, creating chaos and bloodshed.
Republicans in national office really hate Clinton so much that they have spent millions of dollars on seven separate investigations into the deaths of four diplomats in Benghazi, Libya, trying to tie a noose around her presidential campaign, to no avail.
They are trying to paint her conduct with regard to some emails as illegal. There was no harm to national security or any other U.S. interests from the darn emails. What was/is gross about U.S. policy in Libya is not Benghazi, it’s U.S. policy in Libya.
Just like this country did to former Iraqi President Saddam Hussein — who did the U.S. bidding in the region for decades, waging war against Iran and providing Arab muscle in behalf of U.S. interests — they did to Qaddafi. Based on fake, trumped-up charges, this country betrayed Libya, with whom the U.S. had never broken diplomatic relations, even as Libya voluntarily gave up its chemical weapons and sought friendly relations with the West. Thanks, pal.
Starting Jan. 20, 2017, this country is in for an ugly next four years, no matter which flawed candidate takes his or her flawed spouse to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.
