LeBron James was born in Akron, Ohio on the 30th of December in 1984. He was raised by a single mother named Gloria Marie James. Life was not actually kind to his mom who struggled hard to raise him. Because they had not enough money for a better life then, LeBron James experienced moving from one apartment to another until the time that Gloria found a stable job. Because she was not able to find better modes of earning, Gloria was forced to allow James to live with a football coach when he was nine years old.

During his freshmen year, our basketball star was part of St. Vincent and St. Mary’s basketball varsity team. As young as that, he was able to make 21 points along with 6 rebounds. When he reached his sophomore year, James was already remarkable with his average points of 25.2 along with 7 rebounds for every game. Aside from that, he was known to have contributed 3.8 steals and 5.8 assists. Such performance paved the way for LeBron James to be dubbed as the Mr. Basketball for Ohio and was given the chance to join the All USA First Team by the USA Today.
Moreover, a lot of fans and authorities in basketball have agreed to hail James as the Best Player in Basketball for America at present. He had the chance to appear in Sports Illustrated and was actually the first player to do so.
Cleveland Days and Stardom
James was already a name in American basketball as he made his way to the roster of Cleveland Cavaliers. He was the first overall pick during the NBA Draft in 2003. He made his way through his initial professional game with an average of 25 points. The game was played against the Sacramento Kings. It was the same game that he made the record as the highest points ever made by a prep-to-pro player.
Much more has been behind the glittering fate of LeBron James in basketball when he played in his professional game against the New Jersey Jets. There he ended with an average of 41 points nailing the historical milestone of reaching at least 40 points in a span of 19 years. He was also the Rookie of the Year and the first cavalier to have joined the famous roster that included Michael Jordan and Oscar Robertson. All of these stars have averaged about 5 rebounds, 20 points, and even 5 assist for every game.
LeBron James is a towering basketball icon of 6 feet and 8 inches. His height was not only what defined his fate but also his passion and love for the game that changed his life.
