(ThyBlackMan.com) Now we all know it is super easy for Amber Rose to put her foot in her mouth but it would be nice if she would remove it before knawing it off. At the very young age of 15 she began stripping in order to support her family after the divorce of her parents. None of us are exempt from hard times but Amber Rose is negatively spreading to our young girls like a wild bacteria of mold. As of October 2015 she led the slut walk which takes places in Los Angeles. The slut walk is to honor women who have been shamed for being experienced.
She had her own personal experience where she was playing a closet game with a friend and he tricked her into kneeling down and he 
pulled down his pants and opened the closet making everyone believe that she had given him oral sex. I understand that rumors cause pain but promoting such as slanderous word and relating it to women’s and girls empowerment is just sickening. If she chooses to promote the slut walk then why is she relating it to our young girls?
What types of message does she thinks this sends to them. As a female myself, I do agree that this world is a very cold one and it does dictate women of color to be vulgar beings when people use terms such as slut as a word of endearment it just throws me off. As if these new millenium girls do not already have a lot of troubles to face she is giving them the right away to sexually explore and become sex toys.
How can someone feel liberated by being called a slut? When the term slut first began it was defined as a woman who has many casual sex partners. Are we just going to stand by and watch while we let women like Amber Rose send a message to these girls that is normal and acceptable to have sex with any and everybody. We would be sending the wrong message if we stood by and did nothing, we can not ignore the signs. We have to realize when our girls see things like this they begin to think it is ok. They look up to these celebrities in many different ways, especially from their images.
Every single time our girls look at these edited and photoshopped images of these celebrities they get the idea that, it is who they want to become. Being a slut is not cute, and Miss Amber can be a slut all she wants but it is very inappropriate for her to use her little slut walk and say she is trying to empower our young girls. In 2016, Amber Rose had her own talk show where all she discussed was sex this and sex that. Is sex all that we women are good for? I support black women and their hustle but in this case I am not down for the cause. Amber Rose is definitely out of pocket and as far as I hear out of a show because the show has been canceled, because we are not here for it one bit.
