The Beyonce Saga Continues?

(ThyBlackMan.com) Why are we so amazed with the lifestyles of the rich and famous? Sometime we are even mesmerized with the not so rich and famous.  I understand that some of us need a form of escape from reality, so we turn to reality television, such as The Atlanta Housewives, The Bad Girls Club and many of the other tons of reality television shows we have to choose from.

Well society is caught up again with someone else’s life.   I posted an article about the birth of Beyonce’s daughter, Blue Ivy Carter at thyblack.com recently.  I wrote the article not because I am an obsessed fan of Beyonce, nor did I track all nine months of her pregnancy.  I wrote the article because I was  called to contribute to the topic of Beyonce’s pregnancy and being a writer I  feel the need to share what’s going on in the news.

Since Beyonce gave birth, people have been up in arms about the correct name of the baby and even its origin.  As I stated earlier the name Blue Ivy is significant to the parents.

I also mentioned earlier, that GMA gave the reason behind their baby’s name.  Check out the first article Beyonce Knowles Gives Birth that goes into detail.

The couple chose the name Ivy because of the significance of the number “4” or “IV”, Beyonce and Jay-Z were born on September 4th and December 4th, respectively, they were married on April 4, 2008 and Beyonce’s latest album is entitled 4. It has also been stated that Blue is Jay-Z’ favorite color.

Well it seems that Twitter followers have conjured up their own reasons behind the meaning of little Blue’s name.

According to The Huffington Post some people have made an odd connection between the name Blue Ivy and Eulb Yvi.  They claim that the Eulb Yvi  is Blue Ivy spelled backwards and also Latin for Lucifer’s daughter. Wow!  Really?  You have got to be kidding right?

When I read the tweets and posts spreading this madness I could not believe it.  Why is it always a conspiracy with Beyonce?  Why are people so obessed with Ms. Sasha Fierce? And this is a word that I don’t use often, but why are some people such haters?

I’m sure we’ll never know the answer to those questions.  All I have to say is people let’s move on.  Let’s talk about more important issues such as high gas prices and unemployment, something that actually concerns me personally.
