(ThyBlackMan.com) Are you tired of hitting the gym and doing the same workout routine over and over again? Or are you someone who finds exercising as boring stuff?

There are other things you can do to sweat it out while having fun. While training exercises are given by experts in the gym, you may substitute it with some fun activities and maintain your fit body.

  1. Hiking

Hiking is a great full-body workout. It’s a cool cardio exercise because it keeps the heart pumping as you go up and down the hill. An added weight also helps in building muscles. It is also a great bonding with your friends or family. Aside from that, the view that will surprise you as you reach the peak will refresh your mind and give you a feeling of accomplishment.

Schedule your hike with your loved ones and choose the best place for the majority. If you’re on vacation leave, setting up a tent on its summit for a few days is recommended to help you relax for a while before going back to reality.

  1. Rock Climbing

This fun activity is one of the underrated but a challenging and intense full-body workout. If you’re a little adventurous, you may prefer to choose rock climbing outdoors. Though you can also search for several rock gyms if you want to do this activity indoors.

Climbing will train your underworked muscles, especially in the arms and legs. It will test your flexibility and pushes your heart rate up to 180 beats per minute. Just make sure to have the right harness and equipment for safety purposes.

  1. Dancing

Dancing is both an exercise and a form of art. This is one of the easiest and fun exercises, especially for those who got the moves. It helps you improve balance and coordination. It can be a low-impact or high-impact type of exercise depending on the kind of dance you are performing.

Unless you’re enrolled to dance classes, dancing can be done at home without spending any money as there are dance tutorials readily available on the internet. 30 minutes of dancing can help you burn up to 350 calories.

  1. Swimming

This is considered to be one of the best exercises. It helps strengthen your lungs and is great in building your cardio abilities. You can do simple swimming workouts that can be done within 15-20 minutes. The calming vibe of cool water and its connection to nature also lets you reduce stress and boost your mood. This is an activity that is both fun for adults and kids.

  1. Cycling

Cycling is an exercise fit for those who would like to lose weight. It can burn 400-1000 calories per hour depending on the intensity. As you learn this activity, elements such as climbing, descending and cornering will help you improve your spatial awareness. This is also something you can do every day. Biking to work will train your muscles and lessen your expenses of traveling to work. With the right gear and equipment, you and your bicycle can travel as far as you want where you can meet new people and grow your social circle.
