(ThyBlackMan.com) Some people are waiting for the Samsung Galaxy S10 release as the OnePlus 6T lacks key features. There are certain things people hate the most about the OnePlus 6T and now everybody hopes that those missing features can be found on the Samsung Galaxy S10 when the device arrives. Samsung has not confirmed the release date for the same, but according to reports, the Galaxy S10 will be launched sometime in early 2019.

OnePlus 6T comes packed with a 6.41-inch Optic AMOLED display. A 16 + 20MP dual camera setup on the back and a 16MP shooter on the front. The device runs on Snapdragon 845 SoC with 6GB and 8GB memory options. Overall, the phone is good as the price is comparatively lower than the smartphones featuring the same hardware and features.

What’s stopping people from buying OnePlus 6T is the lack of key features. It’s not just the headphone jack that’s missing from the phone, the 6T also doesn’t have great camera quality and sound. The phone’s speaker and microphone are very bad. OnePlus has introduced the in-display fingerprint sensor, but it’s not as fast and accurate as it should be.

The phone comes in a glass body and it doesn’t have an IP rating. There are other small things that people won’t find on this smartphone. For example, there’s no LED notification light and the always-on display feature has been removed. According to OnePlus, they didn’t feel the need of notification LED and the always-on display was a battery drainer.

The majority of buyers choose OnePlus smartphones because the company offers high-end hardware at a lower price. The problem here is that OnePlus doesn’t provide any clarity on software support. OnePlus phones get new software updates, especially the high-end devices get good support from the company, but slow release of software updates has been a problem with most of the devices.

Are you skipping OnePlus 6T for the Samsung Galaxy S10? The launch of the new Samsung phone is just a few months away and many people think that this device will solve all the problems people had with the OnePlus 6T. The reasons are many. Samsung launches S series phones with a headphone jack. Despite having very small space for this particular component, the company still kept it in the Galaxy S9 which was released in March 2018. That said, Samsung’s support for software updates is incredibly amazing. The device was launched with Android Oreo 8.0, the then-latest version of Google’s mobile operating system.

Even if the company doesn’t add a headphone jack or doesn’t solve all the problems of OnePlus 6T, the Samsung Galaxy S10’s price will be the last nail in the 6T’s coffin. Samsung’s note series devices hit the premium price tag of $1000, but for the Galaxy S series, the price will be competitive.

The OnePlus 6T is available in the US for $550 and we expect that the Samsung Galaxy S10 will be available at not more than $200 more on this price or maybe less. Recent reports about the Samsung Galaxy S10 suggest that the company will not add a headphone jack on this phone. The phone will be controversial for sure, especially if the company decides to remove the headphone jack, but overall, it will be a killer.

Camera, sound, and display quality are the strongest reasons people will choose the Galaxy S10 over the OnePlus 6T. The only thing that works best for OnePlus is the price tag the company puts on its phones. Other than that, the launch schedule is also a reason convincing enough for people to wait for a Samsung phone.

Samsung has already confirmed that it is working on new technologies for the display (foldable phone) and the company is also working on an in-display fingerprint solution. The OnePlus 6T offers this feature, but it doesn’t work as expected. Samsung, on the other hand, is known for superior quality displays and unique smartphone designs. It will be easy for the beast to hit OnePlus 6T hard as long as the company is able to justify why S10 is worth waiting for.
