Releasing in October this year, WWE 2K19 will feature a new game mode, special bonus characters, new game editions, and a million-dollar challenge for players. Here’s everything you need to know about WWE 2K19 game.
There’s a new game mode called the Towers
WWE 2K19 release will bring many new exciting features and Towers mode is one of them. Towers lets players compete against certain WWE Superstars at different levels. Each tower has a different theme so players can choose their MyPlayer or a WWE Superstar and join a match. Towers will have a variety of matches with different win conditions.
The game mode will feature opponents from NXT Superstars and the entire WWE roster. Interestingly, WWE legends and current champions will also be available in the WWE 2K19 Towers game mode.
Rey Mysterio is returning
The Master of the 619, Rey Mysterio is returning to WWE simulation with 2K19 as a playable character. The superstar is also a part of the WWE 2K19 pre-order offer. In a very creative trailer video, 2K has confirmed that Rey Mysterio will be accompanied by a special character and is set to delight fans who pre-order the game. The announcement was special because Mysterio didn’t appear in WWE game in the last four years.
Ronda Rousey makes WWE game debut
Fans will see Ronda Rousey in WWE 2K19 in her Rowdy outfit. For the first time, Rousey will be available in a WWE Game as a playable character. 2K has announced that Rousey will be available as a bonus character. She will be accompanied by other WWE Superstars including Rey Mysterio, Ultimate Warrior, Kurt Angle, Goldberg, and Sting.
There’s a Million Dollar Challenge you can be a part of
The Towers game mode is actually your road to win the AJ Styles Million-Dollar Challenge. To participate, players will have to beat the Towers mode. They will also be required to submit a winning promotional video demonstrating why they will beat AJ Styles. To qualify for the final round, which is a one-on-one match with Styles, players will have to win matches against three semifinalists. If the finalist beats AJ Styles, he will get $1 million prize money.
WWE 2K19 game editions
In addition to the standard version, WWE 2K19 will also be available in a Deluxe Edition and a Collector’s Edition with additional content. The Deluxe Edition will give players access to the game’s Season Pass and all the digital content available in the Collector’s Edition. This edition will also include all the WWE 2K19 pre-order bonuses.
If you choose to buy the WWE 2K19 Collector’s Edition, you will get all the content from the Deluxe Edition plus limited edition WWE SuperCard content and exclusive and rare collectibles.
Our wishlist and rumors surrounding WWE 2K19 features
We may be able to see a completely different environment in the arena with this year’s game. The game developers are reportedly working on new features to make the in-game audience look and react in a more realistic manner. If that happens, we won’t be seeing the half-asleep audience.
As far as the microtransaction in WWE 2K19 is concerned, 2K will most likely play it safe. For its basketball simulation NBA 2K19 also, the company has said that things will be “more fair” this time. So, it’s safe to assume that 2K wouldn’t want to disappoint wrestling fans. Meanwhile, some improvements in features like the creation tool, are expected to be available in the game. 2K has not revealed all the details, particularly about the highly anticipated changes in the Royal Rumble matches and inclusion of female MyCareer mode.
WWE 2K19 release date
WWE and game publisher 2K are sharing a lot of news about WWE 2K19 and as a part of the recent updates, the publisher has confirmed the game’s release date. The game will release on Xbox One, PS4, and PC on October 9. Surprisingly, 2K is not considering the Nintendo Switch version of WWE 2K19.
