(ThyBlackMan.com) With the latest comics and anime news updates, Comic-Con 2018 also offered new information about upcoming video games. Here’s a list of all the exciting announcements you may have missed at San Diego Comic-Con this year.

Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners

It’s no secret that video games set in the post-apocalyptic environment do well. Needless to mention that at the end of the day, players want an engaging story tied to strategic gameplay. During the Comic-Con 2018, game developer Skydance Interactive announced a virtual reality game in the popular Walking Dead series.

The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners for VR is coming in 2019 and it’s the first time the company is making a virtual reality game. The developer has not confirmed anything about the platforms the game will be available on.

Resident Evil 2 Remake

Capcom held a panel at San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) 2018 and announced a $200 collector’s edition for Resident Evil 2 Remake. The developer, in its presentation, revealed some new details about the game. Before the gameplay details, one more interesting thing you should know about is Biohazard RE: 2 Z Version Premium Edition. Capcom is selling this edition for $900. It comes with a Bluetooth-enabled mechanical keyboard and many other collectibles. At SDCC, producer Yoshiaki Hirabayashi shared some development updates. Capcom said that the upcoming game is a complete redesign and not just a remake.

Mega Man 11’s Torch Man

Mega Man 11’s Robot Master named Torch Man was revealed at the Comic-Con 2018. If you don’t know, Capcom announced Mega Man 11 as a part of the series’ 30th-anniversary celebration. This year at SDCC, the developer introduced Torch Man, a new boss Mega Man will be fighting with.

Torch Man is a martial arts master, so players will have to be careful about timing their moves. When defeated, Torch Man gives his Blazing Torch to Mega Man. By using this weapon, Mega Man fires a ball of fire into the air.

The final God of War secret

If you play God of War on your PlayStation 4 and followed the latest Comic-Con 2018 announcements, you probably know that director Cory Barlog gave a clue to a secret hidden somewhere in the game. Joe Kennedy, senior game designer at Sony Santa Monica studio confirmed the same in a tweet. Instead of spoiling the fun for you, we are leaving it to you to find out. A new collectible figure made its debut during SDCC and will be available sometime later this year.

Blade Runner: Revelations

It is a new game that connects the original motion picture with the Blade Runner 2049. For Blade Runner: Revelations, Alcon Media Group, Seismic Games, and Google inked a deal to exclusively build the game for Google’s Daydream platform. At the SDCC 2018, developers revealed their creative ideas behind the expansion of the game’s narrative and characters. Revelations is about exploration where players interact with other characters, gather clues, solve puzzles, fight with enemies, and make situation-based choices.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Zombies

Activision revealed a lot of new information about its new game Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 at Comic-Con 2018. The game publisher introduced the new zombies campaign, Blood of the Dead that takes players to a secret laboratory area located beneath the Alcatraz Penitentiary.

Developer Treyarch confirmed that customization options will be available in the Zombies mode, meaning that other than the weapon upgrades, character customization will also be a part of this game mode. At the event, Activision unveiled the game’s collector’s edition titled the Mystery Box edition.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider

In Shadow of the Tomb Raider, the game’s protagonist Lara is searching for a Mayan relic in a deadly jungle. During an interview at Comic-Con 2018, game developer Eidos Montreal revealed that there are hidden secrets you will find underwater. There are entrances and tunnels that can lead you to some interesting places. Challenge tombs are also hidden and you’ll be using your skills to uncover those hidden secrets. There will be piranhas and eels in the water so you have to be more careful this time.
