The devices are accountable for 25 million sales despite being on shelves for a short time. Now when the company is gearing up to bring three new iPhones this year, one of which is iPhone 8 of course, there are several leaks about the new entries. Reports coming from insiders say that Apple will launch an iPhone 7S Plus this year and some major improvements are coming.
As the release time of the iPhones is nearing, which is September, speculations are at peak. A recent report suggests that there will be a huge difference between the iPhone 7 Plus and the iPhone 7S Plus. It is being said that the iPhone 8 supply will be limited. An insider 
Ming-Chi Kuo from KGI Securities claims that Apple is suffering design restrictions and supply issues associated with the OLED display. The leak suggests that the supply of OLED iPhone will be very limited till the year end. The company will likely get the components during or after Q4 2017.
If what the report claims turns out to be true, Apple will likely put the burden of sales on the iPhone 7S and 7S Plus. If it happens, there are chances that the 7S Plus will leave the 7 Plus far behind in terms of features and what we expected to see in the iPhone 8, some of those features will be coming to the 7S Plus.
The use of glass back in the upcoming phone is very much possible as the company will most likely bring the wireless charging solution in its full potential. The glass back is hard to design but looks stunning on the phone. Why Apple is taking this route because the glass will allow electric charge to pass through the outer case, while inductive charging is not possible with aluminum back.
It has been widely discussed that Apple is working on wireless charging for the iPhone 8 and the feature is potentially going play a major role in the device’s marketing. If Apple takes this step, it will be interesting to see how Apple manages to keep the iPhone 8’s hype without exclusivity.
The Apple iPhone 7Plus is doing really great in terms of sales and also as a new phone. There are many reasons to love the iPhone 7 Plus and only a few to hate it. It comes with a beautiful 5.5-inch screen, sports a unique camera and it is also one of the industry’s best-performing phones. With solid battery life and very potent speakers, the 7 Plus has enough to convince anyone to fall for it. The two major drawbacks this phone faces is the lack of a headphone jack and no freshness in the overall design.
However, the upcoming phone is expected to be priced more than the Apple iPhone 7 Plus, but it needs to deliver a highly compelling product at affordable price point. We all have heard people complaining about the 7 Plus pricing, so if a direct successor comes in, pricing will be a major factor behind the new iPhone’s success.
Apple will likely make some significant improvements in the device’s power because this is how the company can justify a higher price tag. The new phone needs an A11 Fusion chip, wireless charging, better camera system, and something more. This is how the phones will be different from their successors and will be worth spending money on.
Despite knowing the huge sales growth of iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, many fans didn’t upgrade. If the leaked information turns out to be true, it would be a great treat for those who waited so long.
