(ThyBlackMan.com) Note: I am not a feminist because I don’t like any form of it because it’s been one of the black man’s greatest enemies and still to this day.

The black community has a huge problem addressing one largely ignored issue: sexism

Sexism in The Music Industry – Ever since Luke Campbell and his controversial rap group 2 Live Crew came out 30 years ago, their lyrics were so controversial and sexist to the point that radio stations had refused to even play their music at all.

Fast foward to today, you got these mainstream female negroes like the Nicki Minaj’s of the world that will gladly sell their soul to The Real Devil by doing all sorts of ignorant buck dancing that is verysexism-stop-it-blackcommunity-2016 destructive to our community as a whole. Mainstream rappers like the Lil Wayne’s and Rick Ross’s of the world are paid millions of dollars by Corporate America to sprinkle messages of black male self-destruction and extremely sexist messages that are harmful to our young girls and women.

Sexism In Meetings/Public Forums – When intellectual black people are called to a public forum, most of the people that are invited are men and almost no women are invited to voice their views about topics that need serious discussions about in our community. And I am a believer that real intellectual black women like Sharazard Ali and Yvette Carnell deserve a spot at the table.

Sexism In Corporate America – Corporate America has a notorious history of sexism, especially towards black women in the workforce. I remember reading a post that Yolanda Spivey, a Your Black World contributor, had made about being the only black woman in the board room full of mostly caucasoid women who displayed very sexist attitudes towards her, they came up with every lie, scheme, and trick that got her forced out of Corporate America. She has her own insurance firm called “Michael Whitney” and it’s doing quite well.

Sexism In Sports – Women can play mainstream sports just as good as the men, but they’re often told that certain sports like football and basketball are just boy sports only and to be honest, I used to buy into that mindset for a very long time until I started watching a few videos from Independent Women’s Football League and I was impressed with the superior athleticism of these tough, but beautiful black women, so yeah, anything we black men can do, black women can do as well.

Sexism On Social Media and YouTube – I’ve seen plenty of intellectual black women who voice their views on social issues that affect our community face serious pushback from some negropean men with sexist attitudes towards them. One example is Yvette Carnell, the founder of breakingbrown.com, some negropean men called her a “weave wearing bitch” and all other nasty names on Youtube and I was appalled and very disgusted at this type of negative behavior displayed towards these intellectual sistas like Yvette Carnell.

The Conclusion – These intellectual sistas deserve to have the opportunity to make their voices heard whether people agree with them or not. They can agree or disagree with their viewpoints without displaying sexist attitudes towards them.
