Walking In the God-Kind of Love.

(ThyBlackMan.com) I want to discuss with you today God’s “Hesed Agape” love. Agape is a Greek word. I want you to put this Hebrew word in front of it, “hesed”: Hesed agape, which means unconditional love. This type of love is the type of love that God has for us, but not only that, it is the foundation of the love walk. He loves us in spite of whether it rains and we come to church or not. He loves us in spite of whether we pay our tithes and give our offerings like we should.

He loves us whether we are full of the devil, or full of the Holy Spirit. He has unconditional love for us. When you think of hesed agape love, it passes everything else. As we grow in relationships, not only in our households but abroad, we need to try and practice it and get into a place where we practice this love walk. Jesus said, “By this shall all men know that ye are My disciples, that ye have love one for another.” god-is-love-2015

The street is a reflection of our home. So, how you treat people in the world – if you are mean and nasty with folks outside, in the world, so to speak, with people on the job, then guess what? You are probably mean and nasty at home. That is your model. What you will be doing is raising your children where they become mean and nasty and obnoxious, because of the model they see. If you are at home, and all you do is argue and fuss in front of your kids, what do you think they are going to grow up doing? Arguing and fussing because that is the model they have seen.

We have to get to a place where we show people how to love like Jesus loved, unconditionally. That does not mean you are not going to have disagreements, but you should find a place where you are going to disagree, not in front of everybody. When the children are there, do not be arguing and fussing in front of those kids. Get in the car and take a drive. Try to get yourself where you work that thing out and come back together.

It is not how well you speak in tongues. You can come in here and speak in tongues today and go out of here and still be mean and evil, still be prejudice, still hold grudges, still walk in unforgiveness. But Jesus said, “I need My people walking in love.”
