(ThyBlackMan.com) The reality TV star, Evelyn Lozada, was finally going to settle down in her new relationship with Carl Crawford, the outfielder of Los Angeles Dodgers after their engagement in December 2013, but things seem to have suddenly taken a drastic turn. Lozada who made her first appearance in the Basketball Wives and enjoyed quick popularity amongst the fans due to her open and easy to go nature disclosed the very sad news during her current reality show “Livin’ Lozada”.
LivinLozada – the new reality show
Evelyn Lozada chose to stay out of the lime light for two long years just to become a better person. After completing the stage, she revealed that she took the time off to work on her personal psychological issues; she took the break to work on her anger and secret fears of life.
She decided to come up with this latest show “Livin’ Lozada” to present her improved self and to share how she had undergone the changes and has made it happen to become a better and more confident human being. The new television series does not only include Evelyn Lozada, but also her two children, 1 year old son Leo, the first baby with Crawford and the 21 year old daughter Shaniece, whom she had from an earlier relationship.
Lozada loses her baby
Evelyn Lozada was pregnant with her second child with Carl Crawford and she was enjoying and expecting the baby like any mother would. However, the plans of god were something different. Around 6 months of pregnancy she was informed by her doctor that she had lower hormonal levels.
During pregnancy the expecting mother maintains a high level of female hormones in the body, but her reports showed that suddenly her hormone levels had gone down. The news was shocking for Evelyn Lozada but she continued hoping against hope. Finally after few days she miscarried the baby and she, including her daughter was actually shattered by the sad news.
The 39 year old star, Evelyn Lozada shared the news with her fans on the second episode of the show and she pointed out that she was hoping to hold onto the baby to become a better self, but now it seems to be all lost. However, as she shared with her daughter, she is now doing better and has accepted the inevitable. After the episode was aired she also thanked her fans for staying by her side during this difficult time of her life.
