(ThyBlackMan.com) The childhood of Liam Payne had not been easy. He had bouts with sickness due to the reason that he was born three weeks ahead of the normal delivery date. Even then, his musical talent showed up at an early age. At the age of six, Liam Payne, sang for relatives and pub crowds to the amazement of many. He had set his heart on athletics by focusing on running. He would run for five miles daily but he missed a spot on the athletic club when he was 14. After that he set his heart on his love for music.

The Original Audition

Even when he was involved in athletics, Liam Payne, had hone his musicalLiamPayne talent to an excellent level by joining Pink Productions at Wolverhampton. It was the place where he showed his talent to a live audience. He later on auditioned for The X Factor in 2008 when he was 14. Although he was highly favored by all the judges, Simon Cowell, told him he was not ready for the fierce competition and told him to come back after two years. For Liam Payne, it was postponing something for later success. He confessed later that the decision of Simon Cowell helped him prepare for what was to come next.

The Return to The X Factor

Exactly two years after the initial audition, Liam Payne, auditioned again for The X Factor. He sang the song Cry Me A River, and received a standing ovation from the audience. All the judges gave him a yes, including Simon. It was the start of his real musical career. But there were still so many things he had to improve on. He also realized that postponing joining the show for two years was a wise decision that he made. He was more matured and was ready to face the pressure of the demanding musical show.

The Stint With One Direction

Although Liam Payne impressed the judges, Simon Cowell saw something else that he had to work on. He needed to have versatility because he was being one-dimentional in his song interpretation. He was placed together with four other boys in a boy band called One Direction. The boy band had made a great impact on Liam Payne. He contributed his talents to the success of the band. They made hits like “What Makes You Beautiful” and “Live While You’re Young”. Many still listen to the songs up until now.
