(ThyBlackMan.com) Increasingly, I am hearing the following mantra/narrative from Black Christians. “I’m voting for Obama because he is the lesser of the two evils.” This is an extremely weak veiled attempt to justify their racism and loyalty to The Black Code (never side with a white against a fellow black).
From a Christian point of view, how can any Bible believer conclude that Mitt Romney is more evil than Barack Obama?
Here are a few of the numerous things on Obama’s anti-Christian agenda. Obama supports same-sex marriage and has vowed to be an advocate for the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender communities. Obama supports abortion including infanticide (making it illegal to provide medical aid to a baby that has survived a failed abortion). Despite their strong will to survive, these babies must be left to die.

Woe be unto you. Racism is evil, whether it comes from whites or blacks blindly worshiping Obama because of his skin-color.
So Black Christians, tell me Romney’s stated ant-Christian agenda. Grasping at straws, some will say Romney is a Mormon and Mormonism does not jive with Christianity. Well, you may have a point. However, Romney has not attacked Christianity or pledged to force Christians to betray their faith. Obama is boldly and dictatorially implementing his anti-Christian agenda. Regrettably, many of you black so-called followers of Christ realize who Obama really is and what he is doing. And yet, you will vote for him anyway because of your sick addiction to racial politics.
I have also heard Christians say, “OK, I admit that Obama is destroying America, but I cannot vote for a Mormon.” Such thinking is illogical. Imagine, your home is on fire and your family is trapped inside. The Hells Angels motorcycle gang arrives at the scene offering to go inside to rescue your loved ones. How absurd would it be to reject their “God-sent” help because you disapprove of the Hells Angels’ lifestyle?
Remember this old joke? A guy was trapped on his roof during a flood. He prayed for help. Various volunteers came to his aid in boats. The man rejected them all, waiting for God to save him. The foolish man drowned. In Heaven, the man asked God why he did not answer his prayer. God replied, “I did answer your prayer. You rejected everyone I sent.”
America is on fire folks. Romney/Ryan are the most available firefighters. Thus, I believe they are “God-sent.”
I asked a black minister friend to further explain this “lesser evil” thing. He said the “lesser evil” in his mind is the economy. While not disputing Obama’s anti-Christian agenda, Obama still wins his vote because he believes Romney/Ryan’s plan will further the decline of America’s economy. In essence, this black minister of the Gospel is saying he values the economy over God’s condemnation of homosexuality, over the lives of babies and over freedom of worship.
And by the way, this minister thinking that Obama’s economic plan of spending our way to prosperity is superior to Romney/Ryan’s plan is idiotic, nonsensical and absurd. I can not believe my friend is that stupid. I believe sighting the economy as his reason for voting for Obama is a weak excuse to mask his racism; pure and simple.
To all you, Obama-is-the-lesser-of-two-evils black Christian voters, you should be ashamed of yourselves. You “ain’t” foolin’ nobody. You are racists! May God have mercy on your souls.

Wow..... this is exactly why I voted for Jesus...he will do far more than any human can. The back and forth and lesser of two evils diminishes when you follow truth and put your faith in God and his son.
Whoever wrote this article is the whole problem with the religious right in this country. To argue whether God is a Republican or a Democrat is ridiculous. Vote your conscience and stop using your religion to excuse your hate and intolerance. God is neither. It is incredibly arrogant (the sin of Satan) for you to make the assertion that God wants you to vote this way or that. He doesn't give a crap about American politics; He cares about the lost. Maybe you should, too.
'Black Christians'...what a joke. We have lost our identity and culture and now we are defending the principles of a religion that was forced on us. For every bible quote you give, there's another one that will contradict. Christians should READ the bible and then explain the slavery, murder, incest, and other fooloshness that it contains. And, how much of our hard earned money goes to fake prophets who prosper while we get broker and broker waiting on a saviour?
Who cares what religion Romney or Obama follows? Educate yourself, strive to make improvements for yourself, make sure your kids are educated and prepared for survival in this system. If we all strive to improve ourselves, it won't matter who wins this silly election.

People Firstly you votes will not count, It has been decided that Romney will win. That is why the Bilderberg group met in Virginia to interview Romney, no one can be president without the say so of the Bilderberg group.

First off how can anybody support Christianity in the first place as any other religion??? It was born out of murder and death. Christianity is hypocrisy in itself. I want Obama back in office again just because he is black...plain and simple. We need Obama in office 4 more years so more young black people can see and comprehend a black president. Every year we have a black president, is a year another young black grows a year older and starts to comprehend and see they can become anything on this planet if they put their mind to it. That will do more for black people than any policy Obama or Romney can ever create. Once again, I think this site is ran by white people. Every article on this site tears down the black community. Terrible article in that the author picks and chooses which Christian values he/she wants to support. It's the reason why in my opinion, black ministers are powerless and church attendance is falling. A few make a big stink about same sex marriage and abortion, but torture, the use of borrowed funds for war as opposed to education, economic injustice, environmental racism, predatory lending...crickets (all of which Obama has addressed). And if a politician does pass things that encourage say predatory lending, for these ministers it's ok as long as that same politician wants to re-write the constitution to exclude a segment of the population (gays).
As for the debt situation, both are going to spend money (don't be fooled). The question is on what will we get the largest rate of return. Many go into debt to pay for education or start a business because they know it will yield a large rate of return in the long run. That is what Obama has done and is continuing to push for. Romney believes that simply cutting back and investing large sums of money in the military is the answer...historically that has ALWAYS proven to be false. It's not even true in our personal lives.
So these ministers (and this author) can fain righteous indignation all they want...but it's a watered down faith. One that is transparent and easily seen by all.
