(ThyBlackMan.com) Ron Paul will win the Iowa Caucus whether he actually comes out on top or not. A win for him simply means a solid showing, which he’ll make. He’ll accomplish that feat because he has a legion of young, and not so young, fanatical true-believer devotees that have anointed him as the political second coming of St. Paul and Mother Teresa. They do three things that are absolutely indispensable to a successful campaign: organize, organize, organize.
They do it with zest because they buy hard into his off-beat views, from slashing government down to virtually nothing; to his controversial off beat quips on race matters. During the 2008 presidential campaign, they rabidly defended Ron Paul against all comers even after he was unceremoniously dumped from the ballots. This created a huge problem not for the Democrats but for the GOP. The millions that went into a swoon over Ron Paul were in no mood to mob the polls to vote for another placid, corporate, Beltway insider GOP presidential candidate. John McCain was that candidate.
The absence of Ron Paul on any ballot meant an absence of thousands of voters who in any other season might have cast a vote for the GOP. GOP mainstream leaders thought then that they had seen the last of the aged party gadfly and his fanatical hordes. They assured that his extreme choke-the-eyes-out-of-government-view would not cloud the GOP’s tunnel vision drive to make President Obama a one-term president in 2012. They were dead wrong. Paul not only refused to go quietly into the night but has emerged scarier than ever in 2012.
Ron Paul’s fanatical backers have been enthralled from the moment that Paul got a national platform to yap about the issues. He is their lone Jeremiah crying in the wilderness against big government, big taxes, big corporate domination, big socialized medicine, big wars; and demanding a return to unfettered liberty and freedom (conservative interpretation of it, that is). But that’s not the only thing they like about Ron Paul. He fanned anti-immigrant flames. In a 30 second TV spot that ran in New Hampshire during the 2008 campaign, he demanded that students from alleged terrorist countries be denied visas into the U.S. Paul offered no proof that there are hordes of students pouring into America to commit terrorist acts. The ad was more than just a cheap ploy to fan terrorism fears. This reinforced the worst in racial and religious stereotyping and negative typecasting. The stereotype is that anyone in America who is a Muslim with a non-white face is a terrorist.
Ron Paul topped that with the infamous slavery quip that he made on Meet the Press during the campaign. He claimed the Civil War was an unnecessary bloodbath that could and should have been avoided. All Lincoln had to do was buy the slaves. Other slave promoting countries, asserts Ron Paul, didn’t fight wars and they ended slavery peacefully. Ron Paul’s historical dumbness could and should have been laughed off. It wasn’t. It was intently debated, and defended. The scarier point was that it was taken seriously at all.
Ron Paul’s intrepid band of true believers was unfazed by the controversy; they reveled in it. Ron Paul gave them plenty more ammunition. He asserted that blacks are criminally inclined, political dumb bells, and chronic welfare deadbeats. There was also the alleged Ron Paul hobnob with a noted white supremacist. Here’s what Ron Paul on his campaign website ronpaul2008.com had to say about race. In fact, he even highlighted this as “Issue: Racism” on the site. “Government as an institution is particularly ill-suited to combat bigotry.” In other words, the 1954 landmark Supreme Court’s Brown vs. Board of education school desegregation decision, the 1964 and 1968 Civil Rights Acts, the 1965 Voting Rights Act, and legions of court decisions and state laws that bar discrimination are worthless. Worse, says Ron Paul, they actually promote bigotry by dividing Americans into race and class.
Paul’s views are an arcane blend of libertarianism, know-nothing Americanism, and ultra conservative laissez-faire limited government. In the four years since Ron Paul rammed himself on the national scene as a name, he has gripped the imagination of millions of Americans who believe that Congress and the GOP and the Democrats are hopelessly insular, corrupt, inept, and that they are rushing headlong to spend the nation into free fall debt. This, they say will ultimately reduce the country to backwash penury nation status.
Ron Paul made sure that he would stay within reach of grabbing the GOP presidential contender brass ring in Iowa by never wavering from his stock call in the debates for a debt free, bare bones government, and a neo-isolationist foreign policy. This has been a surefire formula to stir the juices of the frustrated, angry, and naive flock. This is the nightmare Ron Paul adroitly poses for the GOP and the nation in Iowa and beyond.

LOL, usually I love reading ThyBlackMan commentaries, but of course eventually had to come across your filth, on your stop to the online tabloid you usually spew your crap on: Huffington Post.
“Paul’s views are an arcane blend of libertarianism, know-nothing Americanism, and ultra conservative laissez-faire limited government. ”
Earl Ofari Hutchinson, suppose if you were white & said the same & someone criticized your diatribe as ignorant, misinformed, rant of an angry white man, would that someone be a “racist,” or just disagreeing with your high & mighty assessment of an issue long debated amongst historian circles & economists?
By “know-nothing” would a-priori assume what you consider to be true, to be of universal acceptance in which IF anyone disagreed with such, must be an idiot. Plus, not to rehash this time & time again, Ofari, but if you think mulling alternative options in abolishing slavery via any other means than eventually murdering 650,000 souls, perhaps you may want to take a psych eval. and see if you qualify as a sociopath.
Do you get that? 650,000 PEOPLE DIED because of Lincoln, you murderous freak. It’d be easy for the simpletons of the world to assume the attack on Ft.Sumter simply popped out of no where with no historical context and precedent events leading up to it, kinda like Churchill & FDR ‘never’ conspired to involve USA into WWII paving every economic sanction over & covert leading up to Pearl Harbor, or that he didn’t intentionally let it happen. These are mainstream history. WhatTF makes you think your Holy NON-Emancipator Lincoln should be immune for re-examination?
Even pre-2000 public ed jr. high textbook teaches that Civil War was PRIMARILY FOUGHT to maintain the Union; it had NOTHING to do with abolishing slavery, as far as Lincoln were concerned. Go take a trip down to Smithsonian or National Archives & why don’t you read and research to verify, instead of maintaining your feign indignant ignorance of the matter?
Your response frankly exhibits the same crass attitude toward life that both political partisans have taken toward foreign policy fallacy: war is good, war is an economic boost. Yeah, as long as YOU’re not fighting, dying, and losing limbs yourself, right?
So at a time when England and ALL OTHER European nations exercised the option to instead PURCHASE slaves’ freedoms, you prefer whites and blacks die over it, in some lunatic naive romantic view of war. You seriously need some help Ofari. You think your Coliseum bloodlust absolves you, because it’s an event that happened 151yrs ago, vs. more recent murderous imperial impulses over the last decade? Are you INSANE??
Suppose one can argue, you committed ‘human sale’ once more to end slavery. Well, let’s try your alternative. Hey, if 650,000 is good, why not count ALL the number of whites and house-negroes that stepped foot on the New World that perpetuated slavery for over 500+yrs. Would that satisfy? Why stop there? Why not track back to Arab merchants & rival tribesmen who sold blacks in Africa to Europeans in the first place? Hell, why not the entire European monarchic tyrants & the Vatican Church, since they were the ones who got the whole ball rolling? Or, better yet? Why not blame Christ, since his name was after all why all this started: because you weren’t a Christian? Yes, Ofari, the excuse for African slavery STARTED NOT BASED ON RACE, but BECAUSE you WEREN’T “Christians.” Capice?
Where’s your enmity directed at the proper source of origin, Ofari?
Heaven forbid, a modern man ponders how alternatively such solutions have come about, PEACEFULLY! How DARE a man tries to think of NOT murdering innocent souls to achieve an end? The REASON WHY we had slavery is because of mercantilists acting in concert with government.
But WTF, let’s blame Ron Paul.
You Ofari, are an economically, historically imbecilic, murderous fool, pretending to be some neo-black intellectual.
“This is the nightmare Ron Paul adroitly poses for the GOP and the nation in Iowa and beyond.”
Yes, peace, NON-INTERVENTIONIST foreign policy, as well as a domestic policy, return to sound money (if you actually had a CLUE how devastating fiat currency collapse is, you’d get it. But, of course, you’re too arrogant to learn a subject matter prior to yapping. After all, what else is a modern wonk to do, but characteristically talk sh*t on issues you know nothing about, but to come off sounding smart to the same sheeple who’d be dumb enough to consider the likes of Gingrich as ‘smart,’ except on your side of the political spectrum?).
Heaven forbid, we actually have a man who’s voted in full fealty to the Constitution for over 24yrs in Congress, who’s always promoted a peaceful policy, vs. the current lunatic POTUS who has not only continued, but EXPANDED ALL of GWB’s illegalities and warcrimes.
Really, if you honestly think oBUSHma drone-assassinating an American citizen with NO charge, NO conviction, INCLUDING MURDERING HIS INNOCENT SON, because he shared the same last name, not to mention codifying police state in Amerika with NDAA, is somehow ‘better’ than what Ron Paul has always espoused, call yourself an idiot, rapid NeoCon and why don’t you try getting a job at the Weekly Standard, National Review, or AIPAC/AEI/Heritage Foundation?
You may as well walk around with ‘I’m too delusional to admit that I don’t know anything about history or economics, or too StockholmSyndromed to see that the failures that we see all around us is NOT because the entire world’s been following Ron Paul’s policies since 1974.’
Ofari, sit down, grown some modesty, and crack open some books other than the one that indoctrinated your world view in high school, shall we?
ThyBlackmMan.com,
I really like your normal articles. They are usually pretty fair and true, but this? This? This article is bullshit! Where is the editor?
If you want to maintain alternative-media credibility with your readers (you lost some today, I will be honest), do not publish this nonsense and fake journalism. If you want to be the laughing stock like Fox News and MSNBC, then carry on.
Remember that your readers are not dumb and they can see thru the bias.
Cmon man, You really need to check your facts instead of buying into what the mainstream media has filled your mind with. The msm and the candidates and system it backs are holding us all down. They pit Black and white against each other to help maintain control.
If you want to to fight this corrupt, racist, sexist system, get behind Ron Paul. those newsletters were debunked a long time ago.
You, sir, have your facts all mixed up in a bundle. There are obviously some unstated motives behind the numerous bits of incongruent and unrepresentative (if not completely false) information you’ve presented here.
It’s blatantly obvious that you have some negative, affective fixation about Dr. Paul that you can’t get over and have launched yourself on a cherry-picking spree of the internet to resolve your insecurities.
This is an awful piece. It’s okay to have opinions about someone, but it is irresponsible to misrepresent facts and point fingers at people calling them racist when you have no reliable evidence to support such claims. In fact there is so much evidence supporting quite the opposite. If you are really looking out for the best interests of the U.S. and of all the races within it, you will remove this article and stick to topics that you actually know about or are willing to actually research.
How upsetting!
Watch this. Ron Paul is really not a racist or anything brutha. Look at his policies.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H79tE0_k7cE&feature=related
On already debunked (in 2008) charges of racism-
Austin NAACP President Nelson Linder, who has known Ron Paul for 20 years, unequivocally dismissed charges that the Congressman was a racist in light of recent smear attempts, and said the reason for him being attacked was that he was a threat to the establishment.
http://www.prisonplanet.com/articles/january2008/011308_not_racist.htm
Sir, both Bush and Obama have tore this country apart. I’m ready to run in the complete opposite direction. You can call it crazy or nutty, but I’d rather be a bit crazy or nutty than stick to the status quo and leave America to rot in the gutter. I’ll choose Ron Paul.
Ron Paul will win Iowa and then either win New Hampshire or come in a very close second to Romney. Either way, he has a legitimate chance to win the Republican nomination. What will the Republicans do? They can’t stand Paul because of his foreign policy.
RON PAUL 2012
http://www.whatthehellbook.com/the-book/
Oh, I get it now. I saw the ad for newt. He put you up to this. You can tell him from us that the gig is up. He will never have our votes. He will never be President. If necessary, we will divide the republican vote and obama will win. That is, unless you come with us and vote for Ron as a third party candidate (if necessary). Anyway, tell newt for us. He’s kind of dumb. So, maybe a couple of people should tell him.
Im black and i support Ron paul.
I never used to because of watching to much mainsteam media.
But he is the ONLY that wants to stop the wars.Yes the ONLY one who doesnt want our military going around the world and killing many innocent people in the name of stopping terrorism and spreading peace. How has that worked out for us? huh?
Any President that wants to stop “killing people” I will support. Ulike Obama and every other Rep candidate.
Oh and he doesnt wanna isolate the US. He wants us to get out of other peoples buisness and in instead of occupying their soil trade with them making everyone more prosperous
This article made my want to run head first into a wall simply out of bewilderment.
You should be ashamed of yourself. Your ignorance is a disgrace to journalism. Shame on you, sir.
This article made my want to run head first into a wall simply out of bewilderment.
You should be ashamed of yourself. Your ignorance is a disgrace to journalism. Shame on you, sir.
Check your facts. They’re actually quite simple and laid out across the internet for you.
Facts and evidence. Where are they? Thanks for galvanizing us even more. I was under the impression that most African Americans were voting for Obama(this is not a racist statement. It’s merely what the polls are saying) so, why are you slandering Ron Paul? Are you afraid that he might win. Dude, that’s nothing to be afraid of. All of our lives will get so much better and African Americans, whom Ron is actually concerned about, would be able to get ahead and have the American dream. Right now, we’re all on our way to slavery. I don’t want that for you and I certainly don’t want it for me.
Like others have mentioned, the other GOP candidates don’t have a chance. They would need our votes and we won’t give them our votes. Therefore, if Ron doesn’t get the nomination, obama wins. What has he done for African Americans?
Do us all a favor and do some research before writing an article. You demonstrate a complete lack of journalistic integrity. This article smells like you Google searched Ron Paul read through the articles published by the establishment smear campaign and joined the problem. Romney=Obama=Bush=Newt.
Dear God Earl, that is one embarassing piece of tripe. I can’t believe you weren’t ashamed to post that. Thy brothers should revoke your priveledges to post here at this site.
Dude, did you just troll the Internet?
CORRECTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Are you serious ? Ron Paul wants to stop the slaughtering of innocent Muslims around the world. While Obama the Neo Con/Zionist puppet slaughters Muslims by the millions. Do you have any clue whats happening around the world. Dr Paul has brought 4000 babies into this world and prevented who know how many deaths by voting against unneeded wars for over 20 years. You need to quit gathering facts off your TV, ITS NOT WORKING. You will have to murder Paul supporters. We will not stop, we will not rest, we may die but the message of Dr Paul cannot.

There is a reason why people that get to know Ron Paul like him a lot. Take a good look at why he feels a certain way about something. I’ve never seen him not have a good reason.
I tire of all the politically correct politicians we currently have.
Hey Earl Ofari Hutchinson, who paid you to right this hit piece, you truly don’t believe what you wrote, do you? Someone had to pay you to write this nonsense, because if you were any kind of a real journalist, you would have take the time to research some of these false accusations. YOU ARE FIRED
Ron Paul either gets the nomination or Obama is in.
Ron Paul has vowed to pardon anyone previously incarcerated for non-violent drug offences if he becomes president. Don’t tell me he’s racist. In fact, Obama could do this if he chose, but he didn’t.
Ummm… this is a disgraceful article of ignorance on part of the author. Seriously, find a new job.
Black and I am voting for Ron Paul. Obama has been a disgrace to the Black Americans and Civil Liberties to this country!
If you would spend 5 minutes of your time to look at the myths surrounding Ron Paul, go right hurrr:
http://ronpaulmyths.com/
The concept of “race” is a collectivist idea. Any true classic libertarian,
such as Ron Paul, can not be a racist because acceptance and adherence to that
philosophy demands you take all people one at a time as individuals –
evaluating each separately on the content of their character and not in the
“collective” sense of being categorized by the color of their skin; firmly
believing that each person is born with the inalienable rights to: their life;
their liberty and their pursuit of happiness as members of a human race!
Every election the establishment tries to smear Ron Paul with these old trumped up charges of racism. Now the establishment has their back on the ropes and is trying once again – but it won’t work – it never does!
So, here right on cue – the smear begins once again! Stories will begin to
surface of the past newsletters and James Kirchick palette of smear pigments from a 2008 “attempt to smear” article from TNR or “The New Republic” which
desperately attempted to convince the reader that Ron Paul was both anti-
Semitic bigot and racist. They failed as usual. The 2008 mainstream media threw it around for a week or so – you know how they do it – Wolf Blitzer and the whole package. Once they saw there was no sound basis for the allegations they dropped the story.
In the 2008 election cycle, after the TNR article, radio talk show host Alex
Jones interviewed then presiding President of the NAACP in Austin Texas, Nelson Linder (listen at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v… asking questions regarding Ron Paul and allegations of racism. Mr. Linder not speaking for the NAACP but only for himself came to Ron Paul’s defense saying:
“Knowing Ron Paul’s intent, I think he is trying to improve this country
but I think also, when you talk about the Constitution and you constantly
criticize the federal government versus state I think a lot of folks are going
to misconstrue that….so I think it’s very easy for folks who want to take his position out of context and that’s what I’m hearing.”
Linder continued:
“Knowing Ron Paul and having talked to him, I think he’s a very fair guy I just think that a lot of folks do not understand the Libertarian platform, – I’ve read Ron Paul’s whole philosophy, I also understand what he’s saying from a political standpoint and why people are attacking him, – If you scare the folks that have the money, they’re going to attack you and they’re going to take it out of context,…What he’s saying is really threatening the powers that be and that’s what they fear,”
When Jones asked directly if Ron Paul was a racist, Linder responded “No I
don’t,” He added that he had heard Ron Paul speak out about police repression of black communities and mandatory minimum sentences on many occasions.
The author of the 2008 TNR attempted smear article, James Kirchick is an overt globalist progressive with an agenda! The New Republic attempts to be a mouth piece for the dying neo-progressive agenda; being driven primarily by their desires for a globalist world dominated by international banking and the military industrial complex. This predisposition for elitism and predilection for global governance by an oligarchy of international banking power elites is the philosophy I might add, that has currently brought America
to the brink of destruction! They play the phony “two party paradigm” relentlessly. This is the illusion of two different political parties counter balancing one another – please don’t say you can’t remember recently this spring when republican Senator McCain and democrat Senator Kerry went arm in arm bellowing for illegal war with Libya? Do you not find it is strange that Obama never changed Bush/Cheney policies regarding: torture; bailouts; WARS; Patriot Act and lost of civil liberties and abuse of American citizenry. Exactly – both parties want huge intrusive central authority – its just one side prefers to balloon the size of government with aggressive warfare and less social welfare and vice-versa.
If memory serves, much of the so-called ‘sources” for this bogus Kirchick
2008 TNR smear article came primarily from the SPLC or Southern Poverty Law
Center, founded by none other than, Morris Dees. This dubious organization has
been exposed numerous times as nothing more than a rip-off institution
specializing in appealing to well minded liberal leaning citizens for their money – requesting donations for various causes to right injustices for minorities. The problem is that very little of the funding generated ever goes to help the actual persons in need. The American Institute of Philanthropy has repeatedly given SPLC an ‘F’ rating for nearly a decade. Morris Dees former business partner Millard Fuller said this:
“Morris Dees and I, from the first day of our partnership, shared one
overriding purpose: to make a pile of money. We were not particular about how
we did it; we just wanted to be independently rich. During the eight years we
worked together we never wavered in that resolve.”
Millard Fuller ceased partnership with Morris Dees and in 1968 sold ALL his assets giving his millions to charity! He moved to Africa to do Christian service work and died in 2009. Morris Dees on the other hand continued to expand his financial empire and founding the SPLC in 1971. In 2000, Ken Silverstein wrote a hard hitting piece on the corruption within SPLC in Harper’s Magazine titled “The Church of Morris Dees”.
Peruse the 2008 SPLC, IRS form 990 “Return of Organization Exempt from Income Tax” at: http://www.thelaymanscorner.com/docs/splc/SPLC_990_2008.pdf
Note line 22 – the “Net assets of funds balances” for $199,951,946. 00. Also
note line 15, salaries paid to SPLC members and employees totaling
$12,311,645.00 and line 18, for total expenses of $29,894,976.00!
See where that heartfelt donated money for SPLC goes with pictures of the posh
home of SPLC founder Morris Dees: http://www.montgomeryadvertiser.com/apps/pbcs.dll/gallery?Avis=DS&Dato=20100325&Kategori=LIFESTYLE04&Lopenr=3250804&Ref=PH
Don’t take my word for it – please do your own research and I’m certain that after a review of the damning information regarding SPLC available on the internet… if you ever gave any of your hard earned money to the SPLC – you will at the least, seriously reconsider doing so in the future! They are a crooked organization from top to bottom!
A fatal flaw when making allegations for an “anti-Semitic” Ron Paul is that Paul’s economic policy is shaped almost exclusively from the “Austrian School” and the persons aligned with the philosophies of the Ludwig von Mises, a Jewish intellectual. Von Mises embodied classical liberalism and is regarded as a founding leader in the Austrian School of economics. The Ludwig von Mises Institute was founded primarily by Jewish intellectuals of like persuasions.
So, ask yourself – Ron Paul’s life long world view is classical libertarianism – he lives and breathes Austrian economics are these the signature patterns of a bigoted anti–Semite and racist?
I don’t think so!!
WE WON’T GET FOOLED AGAIN!
Ron Paul 2012!!
I disagree with your opinion of Dr. Paul. He is the only one who notes that blacks are only 18% of drug trafficking but are over 65% of those jailed for drug crimes. He is the only one who notes it and wants to end it. How come none of the other politicians, Obama included, never speak about this?
He, and I, believe that we all benefit most, when we all have equal individual rights. Then there is no male, female, black, white, brown, gay, straight or other issue or DIVISION among the people. This is true equality. The same equality Martin Luther talked about for us all.
You hold onto dogmatic positions and vilify anyone who encourages debate. What kind of education did you receive? Are you afraid of thinking for yourself?
Words cannot describe the ignorance and pettiness portrayed by the writer of this article. Earl Hutchinson, please end your career as a journalist. You’re not good at it.
Whats wrong with the idea that lincoln could have bought the slaves to free them? It probably would have been much cheaper than a civil war. I think its a pretty good idea.
So the hit pieces begin.
Most people that don’t know much of Paul will read garbage like this, and then research on their own to see what Paul really believes.
All this garbage does is promote his cause, so thanks for the hit piece!
I like this site but if ya’ll are going to post up libel, yellow journalism and misrepresent Ron Paul’s statements and positions then I guess I’ll go elsewhere.
Fanning anti-immigrant flames or not, I just went and viewed that 30 second commercial. You’ve misrepresented his position on revoking visas from students from nations that promote terrorism because the nation promotes it, not because the students are here to attack us.
I watched the slavery interview, at the time I recall he listed other countries that had bought all the slaves so to effectively end slavery. Yes, I also recall that arse interviewer asking the question. A very relevant question for a presidential candidate 100’s of years later. Tell me Mr. Hutchenson, do you still smoke crack and beat your wife? Do you always defend the abuser when they trap people with loaded questions?
If Ron Paul is a racist then I’ll eat your hat. How many racists do you know that refuse government health care funds and still provide medical care to poor Blacks and Hispanics for over forty years?
Actions speak louder than words. Ron Paul’s actions drown your words out into the insignificant drivel it is.
I stopped reading the tripe you were presenting as commentary half way through. ugh.
This is clear propaganda. Ron Paul is endorsed by the Atlanta NCAAP president. Stick that in your Racism-Pipe and smoke it.
The problem with what you think… is that we are not naive. It is time for us to evolve into a peaceful and freedom loving society of the future. This in not an election, it is a revolution. Enjoy the show.
It’s 2011, I don’t think many people care that you’re black. We’ve got 5 wars going on, we’re bailing out fat cats on Wall St. with taxpayer money and we’re passing laws that will reduce your online freedom and dismantle your 4th and 6th amendments rights… and you’re making assumptions that Ron Paul is a racist. Where are your priorities?
Ron Paul’s Libertarian stance is often times misunderstood. His stance is that everyone has the same rights and does not gain anything from being a member of any group. No one should have either preferences or limits whether it be because of race, gender, or otherwise. He would oppose any bill that would not affect every citizen equally.
Ron Paul Iowa Win IS a nightmare.. for the establishment…. They merely forgot to include that part in the article.
This entire article is crap. Who is the one spewing the hate here? It sure as hell isn’t Ron Paul.
Wow, the lies, smears and exaggerations are so tall for such a little man. Everyone is out to get you, even a 76 year old Dr who only wants to bring law and order back to this banana republic. Your precious big government is really a system of corporate thieves using coercion to pillage this country, and you are their slave.
I prefer Arthur`s unbiased articles on the doc. Ok Earl. Sucks your names “Earl”. Sounds like something you would name a dog.
How many more times can you fit fanatic in one column? The only thing fanatical is your paranoid assessment of Paul and his positions. Fortunately people can do their own research and get an objective idea of what the man stands for. He is no more fanatic or extreme than the current political elite, the only difference is that their extremism has become commonplace and therefore ignored by sensationalists like yourself.
This is ridiculous. You main stream outlets aren’t fooling anyone anymore. People are beginning to realisie that Ron Paul is the best choice, whether your corporate puppet masters like it or not. I find it very surprising that you of all outlets should attack Ron Paul. He is the only candidate that is speaking against racial inequality and is the only one that is truly standing up for individual rights. The racist news letters were DEBUNKED in 2008 by the very liberal CNN. He did not write them, doesn’t know who did and completely repudiates the racist content of the letters. Where did you get your joarnalism degree? The Institute for Yellow Journalism? So much for being objective. People are sick of it and see through the media’s blatant bias. My advice to you is just quit before you embarass yourself even more. Thanks.
I have to agree with the other three that posted earlier, Paul is a man of integrity and would never resort to such low standards! I too was a unbeliever in Dr. Paul until I did my own research, he is for real, look at his long recorded history, he is for the people!
Ron Paul 2012, join the R3volution!
Know Nothing? Ron Paul?
They were fearful bigots. Ron Paul is the candidate who
does not fear monger and is against all racism and fear of
foreigners talk.
How absolutley silly and ignorant.
Clearly the author of the article has done no real research into Ron Paul’s positions. This is a crude and failing attempt at smear propaganda. The racist newsletter has been debunked Ron Paul did not write the letter. Ron is the only candidate who has a clue and the only candidate with the courage to challenge the federal reserve and the root cause of americas economic woes.
It seems like they kind find any dirt on this guy, so the press is trying to conjuring up stuff that looks like dirt.
Reality is, all parties have bigots in them. Fact is, you probably have a bigot who lives on your street, that make you all bigots.
Go on and push your propaganda. Your trying to paint him as a racist, yet you lack the courage to say it straight out. Hmm, funny are we talking about the same Ron Paul that offered to pay out of his own pocket for a golden medal for a Rosa Parks statue? Or the same Ron Paul that doesn’t believe in classing citizens into groups? Or the same Ron Paul that says Martin Luther King Jr. is his idol? Or the same Ron Paul that is being endorsed by the President of the Atlanta NAACP? Oh wait, these are all the same Ron Paul.
Do some research, stop spreading hate. FREEDOM FOR ALL. RON PAUL 2012.
One hardly knows where to start with the libel.
Ron Paul isn’t racist. A newsletter run by someone else, which had his name on it ran aboutr 10 statements that were. He didn’t write them and never spoke that way.
As to the rest, it is drivel.
Ron Paul is the only Republican to talk about racial inequities in the justice system. Dr. Paul has treated poor minorities for free when he practiced medicine. Ron Paul will end the somewhat racist “Federal” War on Drugs. Ron Paul knows that cutting overseas spending takes priority over any domestic cuts. He’s railed against the Federal Reserve System for decades, a system which he says hurts poor and middle class people the most. What good are government promises, if they can’t deliver? Ron Paul has negotiable specifics on the table to balance the budget. He talks about real issues and speaks truth. He’s got the best vision for the country.
