This is a refresher course so to speak, of how to keep speaking the love language, for that special lady in your life. Remember those days when you would open her door when you went out to dinner? Remember how you would gently hold her hands while you took a stroll at the park? Or how you bought her gifts just because? That’s what you need to get back into the habit of doing with your partner.
Society may have you honestly believing that women are so complicated and emotional when in truth, we’re not. If your woman loves to spend quality time with you, do it. Don’t be on your phone playing video games, watching ESPN, answering emails, scrolling on social media. Just be present in the moment and spend more time with her.
If your partner loves the physical touch of her man, do it. It doesn’t always have to lead to sex, but placing your hand on her knee under the table, hugging her first thing in the morning, massaging her feet or whatever she prefers and that makes her feel more loved and connected to you, do it!
If she loves gifts, then that one charm from Pandora at Christmas will not help your relationship thrive. You need to give more gifts throughout the year. Pay attention to her and what excites her and gift her that! Most women love simple gifts from a bouquet of flowers, a box of chocolates or a gift card to her favorite shoe store. Please don’t make gift giving complicated or overwhelming. If she only likes you because of the expensive gifts, she’s just not that into you, she’s into your money.
Speaking words of affirmations to a woman to me is the easiest thing to do. The only prerequisite is that you actually have to mean what you are saying. There are tons of affirmations online that can guide you towards what to say to your partner or you can create your own. Just make sure you do something to affirm that she is special, loved, beautiful, adored, needed and more.
Continue to be of service to her. What does she currently struggle with that you can be of some assistance? What can you fix around the house or her place of residence? Whatever is still sitting in a box that needs to be assembled, assemble it or hire someone who can. You can even squeeze spending some quality time with her while you assemble her new desk.
Relationships take constant and consistent work. Keep doing all the things that you were doing when you two met and those things that made her completely fall in love with you. Whatever her love language is, speak it genuinely and be ready for a more fulfilling and intimate relationship between you two.
