(ThyBlackMan.com) I am so tired of misinformed people, politicians with hidden agendas or citizens who are afraid of guns simply blaming a piece of metal, rubber and plastic as if it can do anything on its own. A gun in the right hands can save lives and prevent death. A gun in the wrong hands spells CRIME. But the gun can do nothing alone because guns do not kill people – people kill people.

As an African American, a former detective, a gun owner and a former firearms instructor, I have a lot to say. We need to stop blaming guns and stop trying to get rid of the guns. We don’t need more purchase regulations. GUNS DO NOT KILL PEOPLE – PEOPLE KILL PEOPLE.

You might say there would be less killing without so many guns. My response is that guns are plastic and metal. There are too many people in this country of the wrong character, violent and criminal. But part of that is what this country itself has done. I suggest you look at the trial scene in New Jack City and overstand what Nino Brown is saying.

I make no excuse for crime nor criminals but its not that simple and there are many factors that make, force or persuade people, into doing what they do. Yes you should be held accountable for what you do but again, there are more factors and players in the game than the public is admitting.

The NRA is promoting the right to bear arms and also responsible gun ownership. Hillary stop the lies and tell our democratic political official to stop blaming guns for what people do. A GUN NEVER KILLED ANYONE.

We do not need to take guns away from responsible gun owners. Nor do we need to penalize us for what criminals do. If you take away the guns from law abiding citizens, only the criminals will have the guns.

Criminals with guns are not usually buying them legally – unless you look at all these pre-planned Manchurian candidate sleeper active shooters. As for high powered rifles like M4s, M9s, AK47s, M16s etc, they pose no threat in the hands of a lawful responsible gun owner. So for some people to determine what guns others should be allowed to have is both unnecessary and a violation of our rights. Who are you to tell me what kind of gun I should or shouldn’t have and likewise?

Let’s remember that when Hitler came to power he made the Jews register their guns. Then he took their guns away, removing their ability to resist what was in fact to happen to them.

While African Americans are being gullible enough to turn in guns (I reference legal guns only) for gift cards and gaming systems, Caucasians are buying every gun they can find. They are going to gun shows and buying everything. African Americans need to make sure that we will not end up tomorrow like the Jews in Germany of yesterday.

Buy a gun. Learn which firearm is best for you, your needs, your hand size etc. Protect yourself, your home and your family. Go to the range and practice to build competency, accuracy and know what your weapon does. Responsibly store your weapon in a safe place (not on top of refrigerator where a child can get it). Learn the laws of your state and the carry permit guidelines – where you can and can’t carry your weapon, rules about weapons on your person or in your car.

A gun or firearm is simply a tool that takes on the actions and “character” of its owner. Remember that. If you are a lawful, competent and responsible gun owner, keep your guns. If you don’t want a firearm, that is your right. But don’t push for the restriction of rights for the rest of us. I have never seen a piece of plastic, metal and rubber assemble itself, load itself, find a target and shoot someone. Neither have you.

Former Detective Craw-in 1 of the sentences of this article, you wrote about Hitler, Jews and guns-implying about Holocaust, but here’s what you overlook. You overlooked the Holodomor committed in the 1920s and 1930s in the former USSR committed by Communist Jews who owned guns. You also overlook that in the Red Army, Soviet Commissars (often Jewish) owned guns and other military weapons.

This could anger people, but it was mainly Jewish Communists who did Holodomor in former USSR and a bigger genocide which happened against Latvians, Ukrainians and others in former USSR committed by Jewish Commies and millions of them were starved to death in GULag. Soviet Commies who killed Ukrainians, Latvians, Estonians, etc. were Jewish Communists, such as Lazar M. Kaganovich, Genrikh Grigorivich Yagoda, Lavrenti Beria etc. and they did this in the 1920s and 1930s.

We have heard that 6 million innocents were killed in concentration camps, ghettoes and shot and killed by the Nazis. Given that some of them were horrible people such as Stalin’s henchmen and henchwomen, then all 6 million are not innocents and quite a few of the victims are horrible people.

I don’t think Jews, Gypsies or anybody should have been put in ghettoes and concentration camps. But not all those who were killed in the concentration camps and ghettoes were Anne Franks or the boy with his hands up in a 1943 Warsaw photo. Some of the people who were killed in the concentration camps and ghettoes were Communists, pedophiles, etc. and sometimes Mobsters (in this case Nazis) kill bad people.

Dennis Mark Prager and Aaron Marshall Breitbart of the SWC would get offended if you point out the fact that not all Holocaust victims were Anne Franks & both Dennis Mark Prager and Aaron Marshall Breitbart of the SWC would get offended if you mention the fact that individually, some of the Holocaust victims were horrible people. If you were to see a photo of an Einsatzgruppen shooting a man in a ditch and ask, who the victim was before he was killed ?, Aaron Marshall Breitbart and Dennis Mark Prager would get offended by you asking that especially, if you imply the victim was a horrible person.

Yes, it’s wrong to execute without a trial and it’s wrong to put people in concentration camps and ghettoes to be starved and worked to death, shot, etc. But in some cases the Nazis killed bad people and there are cases where the Nazis killed pedophiles in the concentration camps and ghettoes. A broken clock gives you the right time twice a day & out of millions killed by the Nazis, you could find cases where the Nazis killed horrible people.

Former Detective Craw-guns make it easier to kill. Yes, people commit assault and battery along with murder using other weapons such as knives and 1 can kill with their own hands, but with guns, it’s just easier for some1 to commit murder. Many to most murders are passion crimes committed by ordinary people-2nd Degree Murder cases such as a man who has a quarrel with his wife after he finds out that she has been having an affair and he takes out a gun and shoots her dead. If the gun had not been there, then possibly he would have had time to cool down. But with a gun, it made it easier for him to pull the trigger in a rage and then spend many years in prison for killing his wife.

Owning a gun should be a privilege not a right. If people want to own handguns and rifles, then they should go through same reqt. as owning and driving a car, such as licensing, training and insurance. People who don’t understand guns owning guns must not own guns for the same reason as people who don’t understand cars must not drive.

If people want to own a hunting rifle to hunt for food, then require marksmanship for hunters, so that it’s a fast kill. While I support animal welfare, I don’t go to the extreme as PETA does. Though PETA would differ, I would rather see a hunter quickly shoot and kill a quail, duck, deer or rabbit and eat their kill vs. a python killing a rabbit. Yes, the python is doing what is nature, but nature can be cruel.

I can tolerate hunting wild goats, deer, ducks, pheasants, hares, rabbits & squirrels for food as long as animal is quickly killed for food. But I can’t tolerate hunting animals just because it’s there & poaching is bad. They must punish people who poach.

I am a vegetarian but could not be vegan because I like dairy and eggs. Life would be easier if people were vegetarians, but I don’t pass judgment on those who eat meat as most of the world eats meat and is not vegetarian like I am. I don’t pass judgment on people who hunt wild goats, deer, ducks, pheasants, hares, rabbits & squirrels for food as long as animal is quickly killed for food. We must support animal welfare.

It’s best that guns are owned mainly by police, security guards and military.
There’s no need for people to own military weapons and ordinary citizens must not be allowed to own them. Machine guns, tanks, flamethrowers must be for military only just as ICBM, atomic weapons, etc. belong to military. Guns and other weapons are there to kill and it’s the military who must own the most destructive weapons. If people want to own handguns and rifles, then again, go through the same reqt. as getting a car.

My interest with guns and other weapons are limited to military especially watching military programs such as the Big Picture (TV show presented by US Army from the Korean War until 1971), USMC Presents, US Navy presents and others, dealing with topics such as the 2 World Wars, Korean War, Vietnam War. While alot can be said, on the Big Picture, 3 of the best commenters they had on that program were Capt. Carl G. Zimmerman, Sgt. Stuart A. Queen and Sgt. Mansfield.

Many people including educated people do not know much about the Korean War and many do not know that the Korean War did not end in a peace treaty but in a 1953 armistice which has been violated a few times by North Korea. Many do not know that during the Vietnam War, North Korea sometimes violated the 1953 armistice by doing attacks on American Soldiers and their South Korean allies south of the 38 Parallel DMZ.

Big Picture also discusses topics such as nuclear powered submarines, small nuclear reactors, Ranger training, training military dogs, Berlin Airlift, Berlin Wall, Cuba Missile Crisis, etc. The USMC, US Navy Presents and USAF presents did shows on these topics, as well as the Korean War and Vietnam War.

Finally, the military has used atomic energy since the 1950s. President Dwight David Eisenhower came up with the idea of atoms for peace. I support nuclear/atomic energy to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. We must use Small Modular nuclear reactors (SMR) and we must use Liquid Fluoride Thorium Reactor. I also support hydroelectric dams and geothermal. American Lung Association supports nuclear/atomic energy since that gives cleaner air and benefits asthmatics. Professor Steven Arthur Pinker supports atomic/nuclear energy. There are wildlife experts who support nuclear/atomic energy.
