With Karrueche Tran a closed chapter in Chris Brown’s life now, he has been pretty vocal about missing Rihanna.
On the other hand, the relationship between Drake and Rihanna seems to have progressed to a point where talks of an impending marriage are doing the rounds. Even though Chris Brown considers her as his soul mate, he is not emotionally or mentally ready to take their relationship forward. The fact that the pop star is far from 
getting over the songstress, was evident when he called her to check up on her after the terror attack happened in nice, France.
To go back a little, these two internationally famous singers have has a tumultuous relationship in the past which was fraught with stories of domestic violence and abuse. After a history of friendship, love, abuse, court restrains and then love again, Rihanna finally broke off their relationship. Yet even after moving ahead in life with Drake and concentrating on her musical career as a songstress, she still called Chris Brown, her first love.
Even after the final breakup in 2013, these two talented stars never really did move apart. On and off they have shown they concern for each other. They have never really shut each other off their lives which has raised hopes among the huge fan following that they share globally. The Bajan beauty is still protective of Chris Brown and has been quite vocal about not hating or being enemies with him.
On the other hand it seems that despite the announcement of a marriage between Rihanna and Drake, Chris is waiting in the wings to claim his lady love back. He is not ready to accept that she would actually go ahead and get married to someone else. It seems as if these two are very much in love but are destined to not be a couple any more.
