(ThyBlackMan.com) Here we go again with another white police officer killing an unarmed black man. But this time all of it was caught on video and the officer has been charged with murder. Former South Carolina Police Officer Michael Thomas Slager recently shot and killed Walter Lamer Scott, an African American male who was pulled over for a traffic stop because his tail light was out. This happened in North Charleston. Murderer Michael Thomas Slager shot Scott in the back several times using a Glock semi-automatic weapon then former officer Slager lied about what happened. He said he believed his life was in danger. But when a private citizen (Fayden Santana) presented a video of the entire incident, the video showed an entirely different picture.

Slager claimed the victim took his taser. But what in fact happened, as shown in the video, is Slager fired his own taser then picked it up and dropped it at the victim’s feet in an attempt to set up false evidence to corroborate his story. Fortunately the video recording by a private citizen caught that on camera too. Slager was fired, arrested and charged with the murder of Scott. But in my opinion, that’s still not enough. If Atlanta can make an example out of 20 year school teachers, then certainly South Carolina should make an example out of former police officer Michael Thomas Slager. The death penalty is too good for Slager and I think he should rot away in a maximum security prison for the rest of his life with a cell mate like Debo from the movie Fridays. I am sorry if I offend you and I never use this kind of language when I write, but in my opinion, Slager should be somebody’s bitch for the rest of his life.

There are several areas for concern here. As a former detective myself, one thing that comes to mind is the likelihood that the murderous cop would have gotten away with it if a private citizen had not caught the whole thing on video. A second major concern is the fact that the officer felt comfortable enough to believe he could get away with cold blooded murder. Why would he think that and what else is going on in that police department which would cause him to think such a thing?

Another major concern I have is what officers do when they see their fellow officers have obviously broken the law. The second officer on the scene was an African American officer who appeared to check the victim’s vital signs and go through his pockets. But the Walter Scott Killed By Michael Slagersecond officer did nothing about Slager, the murder. Officers are called upon to make preliminary assessments every day regarding citizens so why shouldn’t they police the police? There was probable cause that a crime had been committed, Stevie Wonder could see that. Personally speaking, I would have arrested the officer on the spot, even if he or she was my supervisor, even if I had to look for another job. And I have seen it happen.

Maybe the black officer did not see the video at that time or maybe he was just covering for his buddy in blue. To African American Police Officer I say BE CAREFUL WHOSE GUARD DOG YOU BECOME BECAUSE THEY HAVE NO RESPECT FOR YOU IF YOU TURN ON YOUR OWN KIND! Leaving an incident like this up to internal affairs should never be the only solution when an officer just murdered an unarmed man by shooting him in the back and planting evidence. Most officers would stay quiet because they fear for their jobs (and lives, in some cases). But I fear the wrath of God and the mirror more that a job.

And yet another concern is what will come next. Will Slager go to trial? Will the country keep watching so the District Attorney won’t be able to cut a backroom deal or will there be a criminal conviction? Will there be more protests? We cannot forget and we must not forget what happened to Walter Scott, Eric Garner, Trayvon Martin, Jordan Davis and so many others. They are still finding black men hung from trees in the south – THIS YEAR. So email me, get my free ebook and share it with everyone you know. Wake up and do something because BLACK LIVES MATTER!

According to the laws in Georgia and every other state I know of, a police officer cannot shoot a person in the back because there is no immediate threat. All of that “stop or I will shoot” is more for television than real police protocol. Sadly some police officers have shot people in the back and gotten away with that. But thank God not in this case.

Email me at brainstormonline@yahoo.com to request the free Ebook I have created on Police Brutality and What You Can Do About It. But email me NOW before something happens to you or someone you love. There are many good officers out there – but there are more Slager rogue murderous officers out there than you may think. And if you encounter one, it will not matter what you drive, where you live, what college degrees you have or what you do for a living. So if you actually believe you are guaranteed to be just fine because you don’t break the law, you are deceived.

In my FREE EBOOK on POLICE BRUTALITY AND WHAT YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT, I will give you several legal alternatives and solutions. I will tell you and young people how to interact with the police and what to watch out for. And I will tell you about all those who should be held accountable. This has to stop and your cell phone can be a valuable weapon or tool against rogue police officers. So never be too busy to snap a photo or record a video. If you were the victim, you would want the evidence to tell the story – not the police officer.
