Before she became a popular singer, she first worked as a songwriter for artists at Interscope Records. It was in 2007 when Akon discovered her vocal abilities and right then there Akon signed her to Kon Live Distribution.

Lady Gaga became popular worldwide after the release of her debut album in 2008, The Fame. Her album became number one in different countries around the globe including Canada, Austria, United Kingdom, Ireland, and Germany. Some of her songs in the album also ranked number one in US including “Poker Face” and “Just Dance”. Among other popular songs of Lady Gaga are

Childhood life
Lady Gaga is the eldest child of Joseph and Cynthia Germanotta. She was born on March 28, 1986 in New York. At the age of four, Lady Gaga learned to play the piano and when she reached the age of 13, she was able to write her first song ballad. At the age of 14, she started to appear in nightclubs. Her passion in music is truly evident at a very young age. As a matter of fact, when she was in her high school years, she became an avid actor in various high school musicals in which she always plays the lead role.
When she finished her high school education, her mother encouraged her to bid for the Collaborative Arts Project 21. It is musical theatre training at Tisch School of the Arts at New York University. She was admitted and resided in a dorm on 11th Street. Her training at Tish School has significantly helped her in honing her songwriting skills. In her later sophomore years, she decided to focus more on her musical career. Her father was hesitant at first, but had agreed to pay for her rent for a year provided she will go back to Tisch if it was not successful. It was not an easy life for her. She has so many struggles as she auditioned for more roles. She was able to make it in the reality TV show of MTV Boiling Points.
Nominations and awards
Lady Gaga has a total of 119 nominations. Her song “Just Dance” was nominated for Grammy’s Best Dance Recording in 2009. Her song “Poker Face” was also nominated as Record of the Year and Song of the Year. In fact, Poker Face won the Best Dance Recording in 2010. Her album also awarded as the Best Album Electrotechnical Dance and the Grammy for Best Pop Vocal Album.
Personal plans for the future
Lady Gaga is not yet married, but she has plans of marrying soon and wishes to have more than one child. Lady Gaga is in relationship with Taylor Kinney, a 31 year old actor. There are ongoing rumors that they have already plans of tying the knot. This is despite the rumor that Taylor is seeing another girl.
