(ThyBlackMan.com) We need to watch our language. The debacle at the Montgomery Pier, where enslaved people were once offloaded and sold, is described as a “brawl.” The dictionary says a “brawl” is a “fight or quarrel in a rough and noisy way.” The Saturday, August 5 attack on a Black dock worker, Damien Pickett, who attempted to do his job should be described as a vicious and racist attack, not a brawl. To be sure, thanks to the vigilant Black people who defended a conscientious worker, an attack descended into a brawl, but let’s not make it a mutual thing. According to the video I saw, three white men attacked a Black man, and others attempted to defend him, with one swimming across the water to protect him.
Language is essential, especially in a racial context. The massacre in Tulsa, Oklahoma, in 1921 was described as a “riot.” But Black folks weren’t rioting. They were trying to live. Economically envious white people attacked Black people and property on a ruse. Even today, though, the events of Tulsa are described as a “riot” without attributing the genesis of the violence to white people. Indeed, thousands lost their homes and were incarcerated in a so-called “riot” that was nothing more than white people hating the reality of Black wealth.
So when at least three probably drunken white men attack a Black man, don’t call it a brawl. Call it what it is. A manifestation of antiblackness. An attack on a man just trying to do his job. A justified defense of others who loathed how a senior man was kicked and stomped by unrestrained idiots. An attack, and then perhaps a brawl.
Language is important. I am exhausted, for example, from hearing people talk about “white supremacy.” There is no white supremacy. If the Montgomery debacle is any example, there is white unrestrained drunken inferiority. Whenever we say “white supremacy,” we promote the myth of white delusions. Structurally, a system has been developed to advance whiteness and its twisted attempts at supremacy. Every time we use the term “white supremacy,” we reinforce the myth. Can we call it white delusions, white myopia, or white ignorance? Every day I breathe air, I am reminded that there is nothing supreme about white people except the legal structures they use to prop up their predatory capitalistic tendencies.
Black supremacy is such that a Black man, Nathaniel Alexander, invented the folding chair used as a defense instrument at the Montgomery Wharf. Black supremacy is such that we are still here, despite the Caucasity and the ignorance of some white men who so resented a Black man in authority that they chose to attack him. Black supremacy is such that, in the words of Dr. Maya Angelou, “Still we rise.” But Black folks aren’t asking for supremacy (although we exhibit it daily); we are simply demanding equality.
All Mr. Pickett was trying to do was his job. White delusionalists seem to strongly object to a Black man instructing them to move their boat. There was no supremacy in their attack on an unarmed black man, and they should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Jail time is a mild penalty for their absurd behavior.
The African Americans who attempted to defend the dock worker and boat co-pilot are to be commended, and the community is to be commended for its spirit of “no more.” No more will people stand by and allow a Black man to be attacked by white thugs. No more will people stand silent and accept white delusionalism. Enough.
Watching the Montgomery madness brought me to tears because it reminded me of the many times Black women have swallowed white insults and, careful for their survival, refused to say anything. They took it because they had no choice in the 1950s and early 60s. We have a choice now. There was no brawl; it was madness precipitated by an unwarranted attack. When referenced, this incident should be a response to an attack, not an equal brawl suggesting both sides had a grievance. A man was attacked. His community fought back. Enough.

Given the large number of voters who have in the past voted for Donald Trump (approximately 74 million), and by doing so showed a willingness to insubordinate the Constitution of the United States of America, a multitude of Trump supporters followed Trump’s suggestions, the only American president that has ever been impeached twice, and who, on January 6, 2021, incited insurrection against Congress by causing riotous havoc at the Capitol Building in Washington D.C. Trump is also most likely to face multiple future criminal and civil charges now that he is out of office. African Americans, who have been faithful in their commitment to the U.S. Constitution, should take steps to segregate ourselves on an intellectual and physical levels from such a large number of like-minded white citizens who have chosen to follow Trump’s treasonous behaviors, and establish separate but equal schools, colleges and universities because it is now clear, having been demonstrated through their votes for Trump, that following a path of racial integration of the races at American grade, middle, high schools, colleges, and universities is neither beneficial to the African American race, nor necessary for social cohesion out of love and respect for the U.S. Constitution.
The millions of white votes for Trump’s political platform suggesting an acceptance of an authoritarian government, have caused a deep separation between African Americans, who still believe in the U.S. Constitution, and white Americans, who have signaled through their votes, that they are willing to accept the racist, anti-constitutional political tenets of Trumpism. The Biden Harris administration should depend heavily upon loyal, professional, African Americans.
The January 6, 2021 treasonous activities at our nation’s capital building by a mob of Trump supporters clearly demonstrated that our nation is not secure. The American form of democracy is clearly under attack. It appears that some of our government agencies, to include elements of our military forces, are infiltrated by those who do not wish America well. All patriotic citizens of this nation who believe in the U.S. Constitution should have taken due notice thereof, and should henceforth govern themselves accordingly. America is under attack from within, and without. Our former president, Donald Trump, a nihilist, existential authoritarian that is obviously drunk with his imagined power, spearheaded an attempted coup d’ etat against the United States of America.
Many Americans were both mentally, and physically numbed by this sudden uprising by those who are unhappy with the will of the people being expresses by constitutional fiat. Trump and his supposed republican and democratic followers are attempting to do away with the U.S. Constitution, and replace it with an autocracy. Brave and loyal citizens of America should take up arms, and use our sophisticated technologies against these foreign, and domestic terrorists in defense of the United States of America.
America has never been an autocracy, but the millions of votes for a politician like Trump clearly indicates that some Americans are willing to accept rule by an autocrat rather than abandoning their white supremacy, white privilege ways. On January 6, 2021, our nation’s capital building was illegally trespassed, damaged, defiled with human urine, and feces, plundered, looted, and possibly bugged by persons unknown. Many of these insurrectionists have dispersed back into hiding within our citizenry with fascist republican rhetoric still on the tongues of some of those who incited them. If you know where any of these insurrectionists are hiding, contact the FBI, and turn them in at https://www.usa.gov/federal…/federal-bureau-of-investigation.
The survival of our nation depends upon your willingness to defend the Constitution of the United States of America. America should never surrender to authoritarian rule served up on a golden platter (i.e. the nihilist ideals of the American wealthy) We are a pluralistic democracy with a capitalist economic base that believes in an unequal distribution of available goods and services based on merit. Merit is defined as usefulness to the republic. Insurrectionists, and nihilistic, existential authoritarians who are the antithesis of American democracy do not merit leadership roles in this nation. Reject the political theories of Trump, DeSantis, and Gaetz. At this point, much of the whole of the Republican Party, having been led into destructive nihilistic thought by unbridled wealth, white supremacy, and white privilege doctrines is in great need of correcting.
The government of the United States of America should completely review, identify, prosecute, and sanction those elected, and non-elected individuals and or groups of individuals for their illegal political activities (legislation, and incitements that tended to prohibit the enforcement of the 13th,14th, and 15th Amendments to the U.S. Constitution, especially voting rights) within these state governments, all who sponsored secession activities prior to, during, and after the Civil War. These parties should also be held accountable for the January 6, 2021 violent attack upon the U.S. Capitol Building located in Washington, D.C. in the personages of numerous participants from previously seceded confederate states, and also for their U.S. Constitutional civil rights violations of civilian, and military citizen forces through their state, and federal government representatives, state and local police forces, and National Guard Forces, of South Carolina, Mississippi, Florida, Alabama, Georgia, Louisiana, Texas, Virginia, Arkansas, North Carolina, Tennessee, Missouri, and Kentucky, all states that sponsored the Civil War. These rebelling states should be sanctioned by the U.S. Government who should provide better management of all shared governmental revenues, and other monetary incentives geared towards helping the economic welfare of these states to make sure that this funding is not being used to aid the entities involved in rebelling against the United States of America.

Governor DeSantis of Florida, now a candidate for the U.S. Presidency, proposed a new civilian military force in Florida that he would control. Florida remains a hot bed of smoldering embers of racial hatred animus in high places, and cleverly organized, that continues to contribute to the overall disunity of our democracy, and is still monitored by the federal government because of the traitorous roles it played in rebelling against the government of the United States of America during the Civil War. Florida was one of the first states to sign the Articles of the Confederacy leading up to the Civil War. I invite all Americans to read this shameful, a-moral document which in fact attempted to establish, and legitimatize chattel slavery forever, and an existential, nihilist, white supremacist, white privileged political autocracy.
I am of the opinion that Governor R. DeSantis is politically aligned with the proposed autocracy suggested by Ex-President Donald Trump, and the office of Governor of the State of Florida should not be allowed singularly, or in cooperation with others of questionable loyalty to the Constitution of the United States of America to raise, deputize, and deploy a military force without the capable benefit of Federal Governmental oversight. Florida’s present political relationship with the federal government concerning the raising of an armed military force is sufficient, and should not be politically altered in any way by Florida political legislative bodies, or the Governor of the state of Florida.
Black men like this attacked black man should learn how to fight, and defend himself from men, and women like his attackers. What is more, he should learn how to recognize both the verbal, and non-verbal physical displays of violent white men and women so that he can rapidly prepare himself to get physical in his own defense.
