(ThyBlackMan.com) Who’s raising these crazy ninjas? From Cleotha Abston to Ezekiel Kelly, American Negroes have been wild this week in Memphis. This is the week all the crazy ninjas decided to make their move, bucking up at the system but really not doing anything except making things worse for themselves and other black males. Now, the mainstream media is laser focused on the mental health of black males, painting a picture before the world that black men are utterly insane and need to be locked up behind cages like the wild predators that they are. Black men are now looking like the demons that many of them truly are in the mainstream media. Even while they’re showcasing black celebrities and professional athletes, they’re showcasing the worst of black people. They are showing the world that black people are wild, crazy, pathetic, violent, unempathetic, mean and spiteful and for a black woman, it is rather embarrassing watching a child that you gave birth to grow up to be a killer having murdered a woman, who was a mother and kindergarten teacher.
In Washington, DC, a black male was hanging around in a tree like a monkey, swinging from wires following entering a woman’s home through her window. He skirted from rooftop to rooftop. Law enforcement officials apprehended him, and he was taken to a mental health facility. These ninjas need therapy because they are literally insane, and they been knowing all along they needed therapy. But instead, they’ve taken out their pain, frustration, anguish, rampages, and mental illness upon mostly women, children, and their families. I don’t feel sorry because these people been knowing they needed therapy. I think if you fail to get the help or therapy or psychotherapy or your family fail to get help for you and you commit a violent crime, you should suffer the same fate as if you were a sane person. And that include the death penalty.
Black people have crazy family members but they can’t afford the mental healthcare to get their loved ones help because the costs of seeing a therapist or psychotherapist is astronomical. The price of obtaining mental healthcare for your mentally ill relatives is outrageous. They’ve let all the crazy people out of the jails and prisons. Therefore, a violent crime wave spans across America. Due to the progressive bail reform policy, a lot of these violent offenders who should be currently behind bars and awaiting trial are out killing, injuring, and maiming people. We haven’t seen even half of the killings, kidnappings, rapes, and armed robberies that have occurred due to these progressive and light-on-crime policies created primarily by Democratic elected officials following the 2020 summer riots and Black Lives Matter protests due to George Floyd’s killing by a police officer who is serving time in prison. Lives only matter when only a black man has been shot and killed by a police officer.
It is other people such as police officers, women and children whose lives doesn’t seem to matter to the progressive, socialist Democrats based on policies such as bail reform. The real collateral damage when it comes to policies such as bail reform has been children. Black women’s lives doesn’t seem to matter either whenever a black man murders one of us. An organization that don’t care about anyone except black lives is questionable. Black people are killing more black people than police officers. Why don’t you protest about the number of murders carried out against black people by predominantly black males?
Eliza Fletcher’s life didn’t matter to Cleotha Abston when he abducted her, raped and murdered a 35-year-old mother of two young children who now must manage to go through life and act like nothing is wrong. In fact, they’re expected to get on with life and work and pay taxes for niggas like Cleotha Abston, as he will get better health care behind bars. The children of Eliza Fletcher are expected to go to school and be taunted by other classmates, peers, and social media stalkers because their mother was made famous by the news after her brutal murder.
Many Negroes have been programmed since youth to hate white people due to the history of Jim Crow laws and institutionalized slavery. They’ve already had it built into their psyche that white people are the reason they aren’t successful. They’re not looking at the real facts that their parents who gave them life were living in poverty themselves. Many of them were a mistake. Many of them were victims of circumstance. I was taught that institutionalized slavery and racism was the reason why black people were still at the bottom of the economic totem pole. I was not taught that you should not bare children if you don’t have money or resources to provide for them. They didn’t teach us in school that your choices dictate where you end up in life. I was taught that in the church. The church taught me how not to go out and hurt other people. The church taught me how not to steal. My spiritual leader and pastor taught me how not to kill other people.
In a country like India, whatever caste system you were born into, that is where you will remain your entire life if you continue to live there. In America, you have options to get out of crime and poverty. Many of us choose crime and poverty because that is all we know. I’ve had opportunities to get out of poverty. I blew those opportunities by getting fired from a couple of decent jobs. I even went back to school and got an internship followed by an offer of a permanent position within a law firm. Because a Negro spoke to another Negro who was the office manager about my failure to fax a police report to another law firm, I was terminated from my position. I didn’t fax a police report in a timely manner to a law firm and it was used against me. Although I did not receive the police report until a couple of hours prior to me faxing it, that did not matter. It was still used against me.
It wasn’t racism that held me back. I’ve had a couple of opportunities to make something out of my life but I lost those opportunities through job loss. The lead paralegal in the personal injury department spoke to the office manager about my failure to fax a police report to another law firm in a timely manner. As a result, I was let go. To be honest, I brought it on myself. The lead paralegal and I had gotten into an altercation about the fax and this is what led to my termination from the firm. If I wasn’t so caught up in my emotions and tried my best to keep the peace, and just stayed at my cubicle and focused on my work, I may have still been there. This is why it is important black people have a conversation about mental and emotional health. I’ve been in denial about some things.
If I had been paying attention, then I would’ve peeped game early on that the office manager and lead paralegal were friends and that I should probably cultivate a friendly relationship with the lead paralegal instead of antagonizing her. But I was more focused on the wrong things. During that time, I had terrible mood swings. I was dealing with a lot of stress, and it was affecting my attitude and behavior. I overreacted. I perceived things that weren’t true or real. Demons can work you over if your mind isn’t strong. Although I felt I was being bullied, my reaction wasn’t good. Being transparent with myself, I realize I brought my termination upon myself. I challenged the lead paralegal’s authority, because I knew or perceived she didn’t like me. I took offense to her having a problem with me. Losing my job didn’t have anything to do with white supremacy. It was a making of my own. Even days prior to my altercation with the lead paralegal, I kept saying, “They can fire me,” and they did just that. However, black people are notorious for getting other black people terminated from their jobs. That is the truth.
Every black person who’s been in the workforce for a number of years know that black people in America are the worst people to discriminate against other black people on the job. Black people are very mean and hateful toward other black people on the job. They can make the work environment very hostile. And if you don’t think so, look at what happened at the Academy Awards Ceremony in 2022 between Will Smith and Chris Rock. That was the first time an all-black producer and crew members were responsible for producing the Academy Awards Ceremony where Will Smith was nominated and won an Oscar for best actor in a leading role for the film, King Richard. Black people tend to be unempathetic toward other black people. Black people will stalk you on social media. They will call your job and get you terminated due to a social media post or video they didn’t like. Black people will also bully you on the job.
Black people tend to be overly emotional toward other black people. But when they’re around white people predominantly in a work environment, they tend to control their emotions a little bit better because they’re trying to keep their job. But make no mistake about it, they don’t like white people either because many of them have been taught since youth that white people terrorized their ancestors. They’ve been taught that all the black men lynched due to a white woman accusing them of sexual assault or rape were completely innocent when we can all look around today in the year of our Lord 2022 and see the same barbarism carried out by the male population upon women and girls. The same rapes and sexual assaults by black men we see happening today was happening in the early 1900s by black men. All of them were not innocent. In fact, some were hanged because they actually did rape a white woman!
At the turn of the 20th Century, only one generation removed from slavery, black men were just as cutthroat, ruthless, barbarous, sociopathic, sexually deviant, abusive, sexually controlling, and had personality disorders as white males. The conditions under which those people were made to survive and their environment created the perfect monsters. Harlem, in the early 1900s, was rife with murderers. In fact, black men living today were just like those that went around killing white people and raping white women at the turn of the 20th Century. Just as white men did not control their nature when it came to black women, black men did not control their nature when it came to white women. The only difference is, black men were the ones getting hanged and not white males for doing the exact same things. Otherwise, they’re all the same. They’re all violent toward girls and women. In fact, girls and women have been socialized and manipulated into accepting male chauvinism, misogynistic and hostile behavior from them.
Racism was programmed and drummed into us since kindergarten. I’ve seen black people celebrating on social media whenever a black man kills a white person or an Asian. There are still some of us who sees all murder and other violent acts committed against any targeted group as acts of hatred and cruelty, and we condemn those who commit such acts. However, there are some black people who are racists that celebrated on social media this week when they found out that a white woman, Eliza Fletcher, who came from a wealthy family was found deceased behind an abandoned home in a poor neighborhood. I was appalled. Other black people were appalled. But not black bigots and racists. A young woman’s dignity was stripped from her. Her life discarded like garbage. Her life and body was desecrated by her rapist. Demons are walking around and they are in people. Eliza Fletcher’s family must now live with the horror of her memory, her life being taken at 35, and her corpse having been discovered in terrible condition.
He beat her, raped her, murdered her, and then tried to burn her body. Now, there will be another kangaroo trial, her family having to watch this monster laughing and giggling during the trial. He should be charged with a hate crime but mainstream media talking heads are too scared to say “hate crime” due to the “woke” culture that exists in mainstream media. They are too fearful to say a black racist murdered a white woman, a mother of two young children. Black bigots and racists derive pleasure from watching white families suffer the loss of loved ones. If they kill a black child and black woman every day, they sure as hell don’t care about killing a white woman. This country has created many monsters on both sides of the spectrum. From serial killers to mass shooters, many monsters walk among us with families, careers, jobs.
There is a quote from 2 Esdras 5:8, which states, “There shall be a confusion also in many places, and the fire shall be oft sent out again, and the wild beasts shall change their places, and menstruous women shall bring forth monsters.”
Modern times have brought about sophisticated evil, an increase in lawlessness, and greater acts of barbarity.
These are the End Times. And everything that has been written must be fulfilled. Demons walk among us. You must put on the whole armor of God that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. We fight not against flesh and blood but against principalities and powers; against the rulers of the darkness of this world and against spiritual wickedness in high places. Spiritual darkness cover the land, and many people are being destroyed by demons. Think not that your neighbor cannot be possessed with evil. They are possessed. Often, they don’t know they are possessed.

I am disappointed in the publishing of this article. The point and focus is erratic and not clear.
Although there are truths mentioned ( at least I believe them to be truths; such as a shortage of behavioral health and access for many) , many points made are the experiences of the author and not necessarily the experiences of many.
Those points should be stated as such.
I wish the author well!
i think a few of you need to read this article a second time if you scan over it you will get the wrong meaning for as me well spoken Staff Writer; Alberta Parish
This is Anti-Black defamation. It justifies the past brutality and continued Anti-Black brutality against Black people. It’s filled with opinions, assumptions not backed by research, and emotions informed by hatred. This is very dangerous in a country where Black people already constitute the highest victims of hate crimes. It is ethically irresponsible and harmful to Black people, to people with mental illness, to Black men and boys, to their mothers and families and to people who happen to not be religious.
Most brutality inflicted upon black people is by black men. A black woman is murdered every 5 hours and black men experience the highest rates of homicide thanks to black men. And interesting you mention the mothers of black men and boys because you know the fathers are not even there.
You know, there is such thing as criticism about negative aspects of a community… then there is this. All these interjections throughout this article, this characterization of black people as “beasts…” this is disturbing on so many levels.
I will not deny that there are issues such DV, the singlehood of mothers, and unexamined prejudices towards other people, but this seems more like an unkempt expression of hatred than a piece that seeks to inspire positive change.
What goes around – Comes around!
Revelation 18:1-8 The Message
Following this I saw another Angel descend from Heaven. His authority was immense, his glory flooded earth with brightness, his voice thunderous: Ruined, ruined, Great Babylon, ruined! A ghost town for demons is all that’s left! A garrison of carrion spirits, garrison of loathsome, carrion birds. All nations drank the wild wine of her whoring; kings of the earth went whoring with her; entrepreneurs made millions exploiting her. Just then I heard another shout out of Heaven: Get out, my people, as fast as you can, so you don’t get mixed up in her sins, so you don’t get caught in her doom. Her sins stink to high Heaven; God has remembered every evil she’s done. Give her back what she’s given, double what she’s doubled in her works, double the recipe in the cup she mixed; Bring her flaunting and wild ways to torment and tears. Because she gloated, “I’m queen over all, and no widow, never a tear on my face,” In one day, disasters will crush her— death, heartbreak, and famine— Then she’ll be burned by fire, because God, the Strong God who judges
her, HAS HAD ENOUGH.

now I do say this is the best piece of literature on the market, execute all Black men immediately!
Are ye not as children of the Ethiopians unto me, O children of Israel? saith the LORD. Have not I brought up Israel out of the land of Egypt? and the Philistines from Caphtor, and the Syrians from Kir? – Amos 9:7

John 8:44 – You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.

Did you ask the same question when Dylan Roof killed those people in that SC church, or the killer at the Buffalo store on “who raised them”? Doubtful no “liberal” agenda to expose or BLM to address. Last I checked they’ve never been about such matters but more in the realm of police brutality that targeting blacks, but still you don’t understand.
This Memphis killer was out on the streets after 11 months on assault charges from 2020 where he was given a plea deal. That’s systemic, across the country plea deals given to violent criminals while the complaint is on overcrowding jails/prisons.
The overcrowding is of non-violent people, who are less likely to get released, opposed to those that have shown themselves to be a threat.
The system would rather give a life sentence to a 3 strike offender and pay $15K+ a year to keep a person who stole less than $500 worth of items, but Cleotha got outin 20 years for kidnapping.
NYPD ex-officer Vladimir Krull raped a minor and got 7 years, under your blame view the NYPD, department he worked should be accountable for him and him being put back on the streets. Agenda.
BLM didn’t release the Memphis mass shooter onto the streets.
Alvin, you bring up an important point that I have discussed for years with others. What in hell is going on when these young white men, eventually filled with such hate and vitriol, are being raised? Or are they not being raised at all, but being tossed to the side to fend for themselves? Even somebody who is being spoon fed a steady diet of hatred can eventually shake it off, provided they are able to open their minds and see that not every Black person they meet is a bad person.
Dylann Roof is a case in point, setting out to deliberately murder Black people in that church. Those poor people never saw it coming. They were trustful, loving, and invited him in. Dylann Roof, Kyle Rittenhouse, and countless others are the reason that the distrust of white people continues. I know it will never go away completely. But that is why I make it my mission to try to let Black people I meet know that I stand with them and I want to help them, not hurt them. Education is an absolute must, and we need it now more than ever. I know that people are fighting Critical Race Theory tooth and nail, but we need it. Opening minds and hearts is the way if anyone is to survive.
Dylan roof is a racist murderer
I think the person that wrote this doesn’t really understand the purpose and foundation of Black Lives Matter which is why they use certain rhetoric that can be problematic. The writer is obviously hurt about these killings, but seem to be blaming black men and Democrats more harshly than need be(?), when these parties didn’t create these situations. You have to ask: why are certain black men shown to be committing violent crimes (fyi: black people aren’t the only community that has violent citizens. every community does)? Maybe it has to do with their socioeconomic background? Their education? The neighborhoods they live in where no one cares if they’re in slumps or have the resources they need to get out of those slumps? Unfortunately, black and brown communities have been dealt the short end of the stick for CENTURIES, and so they have been setback in a variety of ways. They can’t afford mental health resources as you said. They can’t afford to move out of their violent neighborhoods. So if they’re stuck and everyone has all these negative views about them, saying they’re lazy or need handouts, what are they supposed to do? If they’re a weak-minded individual, they may stay in that slump and unfortunately commit crimes. It’s an unfortunate cycle but PLEASE do not paint black men as the ultimate evil. Just like I wouldn’t paint all white men as the ultimate evil regardless of the amount of violence they commit across this country as well.
“Lives only matter when only a black man has been shot and killed by a police officer.” — I don’t agree with this statement at all. The main stream media has shown that nobody cares when a black person is shot hence the need for movements like BLM. Do you know how many police offers (especially) and other shooters have taken black lives but have seen no jail time? TOO many. No one deserves to be shot or terrorized. What we see and have seen is the disproportionately high numbers of black and brown lives being taken, on video or not on video, ESPECIALLY by the hands of law enforcement members who are supposed to protect them. BLM is a call to action to acknowledge that these killings are more violent towards black people for no reason, and need to cease.
“Why don’t you protest about the number of murders carried out against black people by predominantly black males?” — this statement gets overused, Black on Black on crime, once again to put all the blame on one certain community instead of looking at it from other angles and truly asking why this is happening. Those violent black people aren’t just out here to kill other black people. They need something — maybe money or food — because of their situations they’ve been placed in. It’s not right, no. But black people are not and have never been inherently violent. Also if you’re gonna make this type of statement, why not ask why white people kill white people? Or hispanic people kill hispanics? Makes no sense. Or any difference. It’s not directly relative to the actual issues.
“However, black people are notorious for getting other black people terminated from their jobs. That is the truth. … Black people are very mean and hateful toward other black people on the job. They can make the work environment very hostile” — truth where? Maybe just your experience because that sounds like a very unhealthy exaggeration. There are morally sound black people and there are those that you want to stay away from, just like in any community. Please don’t believe these lies the media puts in our minds to justify saying all black people are like this. I actually have the opposite experience of what you’re saying in that black people are among the MOST hard-working. We stay in our lane and do what we need to do to live.
A black woman is murdered every 5 hours. That is the current day. So centuries of persecution justify that? These black women and girls are not dying due to anyone being “hungry”. Continuing coddling and making excuses for these violent criminals is why our “communities” continue to be war zones. You say black and brown communities are slums but who made them slums? Hint, it’s not white people.
It’s why I divested years ago. I wasn’t going to wait around centuries for things to get better. I now live a peaceful and prosperous life after removing myself from that dysfunctional environment where the men are coddled and the women are expected to be the providers.
So you’re one of a handful of people that believe these lies about Black people. So black and brown people put THEMSELVES into these horrible communities? No, Mickey. The system, the government, American society has been so anti-black since the beginning of our foundation. The government has created laws and measures to make sure black and brown people could have the hardest time even getting a foot in the doorway, getting just one crumb of the pie, just one corner of the table.
I’m not going to argue with someone who does not want to recognize the TRUTH of communities of color and what they have faced for generations. Please, I just hope that you pick up a textbook about African-American history, watch an educated documentary about the Black experience, or talk to some Black people, hear their stories, to truly understand the things they may be facing.
I am black and lived in one of the worst hoods in America for the first 14 years of my life. Black women being murdered every 5 hours is not a lie. I know the black community doesn’t give any damns about black women and girls so the fact that we are murdered constantly is never brought up. There are murders practically daily where I grew up. It’s worse this year than previous. These are not lies.
I divested from the violence and dysfunction over a decade ago and live a very peaceful and prosperous life as a black woman. I don’t have to deal with constant street harassment. The neighborhood I live in now has only had 2 homicides in over 20 years. I live a wonderful life as a black woman in America. I don’t spend my time making excuses or coddling criminals.
As a black woman, nobody is saying that black women being murdered is a lie. The LIE is assuming that all black people are evil hoodlums, who want to take down all good hard-working black people — which is the perception I’m getting from this article. The language used against black men is very harmful, which is what I’m pointing out.
I’m glad that you’re living a great life. I’m also pointing out that for weak-minded black people, the dream that you’re living is not attainable for them. But even for a strong-minded black person, this same dream of living a prosperous life free of danger may also not be easy for all black people. There are many variables that can determine if someone gets out of those bad neighborhoods.
Jay,
The author never says “ all black people are evil hoodlums” anywhere in the article.
And I never said reaching prosperity was “easy”. It’s not and requires a high degree of planning and due diligence. But having a defeatist attitude that black people cant possibly achieve anything in America due to racism is a big reason why so many black men simply give up and don’t even try to better their own lives or communities.
Jay,
I’m a black woman who makes more money than most white men. This defeatist attitude that so many black people posses is not helping us. I’m in a leadership position. Black people need to posses marketable skills. Half of all black men don’t even finish high school which is free.
Mickey,
I agree that black people should upgrade our skills and believe in ourselves. But acknowledge that in order to attain said skills, there are RESOURCES needed in these hurting communities.
Going to “free” school sounds easy, but I’m trying to pinpoint the different layers and obstacles that some black people that aren’t as well off as you and I may experience. What I’m saying is, a person’s success rate (no matter what race) is all about the environment and resources that they have. Teachers, after-school programs, free lunch programs, affordable housing, access to hospitals, transportation, etc. These are all privileges. Without these, it can making going to school and getting an education even just a little harder.
No matter how much I try to explain, I still feel like you and others in this comment section and the world still have not acknowledged the fact that grouping Blacks / Black Men into this big ole bucket of negative stereotypes is harmful.
Just acknowledge that it’s not okay to assume the worst of an ENTIRE COMMUNITY just because of some stupids.
Jay you’re in denial
You sound like the typical parent of a violent Young thug Who says “not my baby he would never do that“ and when they’re shown video of their child committing a violent crime and there’s no way to deny it they then say well that doesn’t sound like my son I can’t believe he did that
This may be the most honest, bravest piece I have ever read.
I applaud you, Alberta.
For what little it is worth, I applaud you.
WOW Alberta, pure truth! Our system must change for the mentally ill
Hey Alberta Parish, good article. I don´t disagree one bit. Especially the last part. “These are the End Times. Often, they don’t know they are possessed.”
People forget that part….People don´t believe in God anymore. As much in your people as in mine. Your people and mine have a common enemy I hope everyone can see that before it is too late. It is VERY CLEAR in the KJV who is our common enemy. The wicked ones, satans people. Even Martin Luther warned us of this people. Even the translators of the KJV had a message about this people to the reader in the bible. Search and yee shall find. Get the message.
Probably the best and realest article on race in America that I ever read. Of course, the masses of self-hating white-guilt fetishists will bemoan what has been said here. They will continue to adulate collectively over their delusions and pseudo-moralistic “woke” culture, psychologically projecting that it is *you* that is self-hating, in order to gaslight you and punish you for being honest and insightful, and for having the courage to actually speak out; they will unironically strive to “inform” *you* about *your* own culture and *your* own oppression at their hands. And at the same time, as always, the blacks who want to remain in a state of helplessness will criticize this article as well for its departure from the black American civil-religious cosmology that portrays the “evil white man” as the source of all trouble in the universe. In this way, they can continue to avoid self-examination; they can excuse their own irresponsibility and redirect attention away from the fact that they are still destroying their own communities. They will continue their codependent relationship with the sanctimonious and self-satisfied white liberals who look to soothe their inferiority complex by “educating” the “wayward” black man, and by portraying the inner-city black man as the “noble savage” who just “never got a chance” in life (a chance of course, provided by them, the self-anointed liberal whites who, like Christ, will “elevate” the black man above “savagery,” save him from the original sin of Jim Crow, and bestow upon him all the benefits of white American “culture,” such as it is). The white liberal provides black culture in America with a convenient excuse to avoid collective self-examination, and in exchange, the black man keeps votes rolling in for the liberal whites that lord over them and continue to keep them in a dependent state of passive enslavement.
Anyway, criticism from the blind is to be expected, since telling the truth is a revolutionary act in a time of universal deceit, as they say.
A human being, be he black or white, must be allowed to live freely in America.Black American existentialism does not exist. Capitalism must not be allowed to reduce human beings to insane zombies whose value is judged by their economic worth, or merit to the republic. The western European colonization of America, and the American citizen for hundreds of years totally suffocates both the careers of the American citizen’s soul, and of their body.Psycho-physiological life has all but been choked out of our citizens who were once human beings who are not being allowed to experience their existentialism of freedom. We must abandon racism and embrace the concept of judging people by the content of their character, and their education not the color of their skins.I do not believe in western world psychiatry and psychology because sanity, and insanity, legal words, are determined by their western world points of view not a fair balance of the points of views of all of the occupants of the combined human beings of the earth. Not all occupants of the earth believe in white supremacy, and white privilege. Those who do not believe as the centuries long colonized white Americans do are either criminals or insane.I often wonder if African Americans fully understand the killing grip American colonization, white supremacy, and white privilege have on the psychophysiology of non-whites living in America.
Beautifully written, Pelvo. Hits the nail on the head. The issue is, many people (Black and White) may staunchly disagree with that and even worse, not even be willing to have an open discourse. When people close their minds to other opinions, nothing will change. I have had the displeasure of knowing (or knowing of) many people who don’t believe white privilege exists. Most of these people benefited from white privilege their entire lives. I benefited from white privilege, but I am acutely aware of that fact and I am embarrassed by it. Nobody should get opportunities or be treated fairly simply by virtue of their color(or lack thereof) I am very angry at these entitled jerks who believe they are more deserving of better jobs, health care, homes, etc. Extensive education is needed more than ever in schools for children to learn the dark, ugly history of our country. More understanding and compassion is necessary.
Wow! Sounds like something that has been funded by a White person filled with hate regarding Black folk. Reads like a Black person who hate themselves for being Black! Appears to be aimed at making young Black children feel bad about being Black and that Black successful people is just a myth. Hints at someone who blames others for their personal failures. Exposes an attempt at faith in a True and Living God with an attempt at understanding his Word, yet refusing to embrace that this type of verbiage itself is of the wiles of the devil fueled by spiritual wickedness in both high and low places. When asked whether this helps anybody – the answer is YES! It helps those who are looking for an excuse to hate Black people. We shall give account of every idle word in the end of our days and there has to be a special place in hell for anyone who hates themselves enough to feed evil into the minds of the weak!
Hello Michael,
I, too read Alberta’s essay and I was saddened by it, but for a different reason than you. I an a white woman, and I was `saddened by the remarks about the lack of mental health access for the Black community. There were times I hated other white people, stemming from the history I have read about their abhorrent treatment of Blacks. I am by no means a white supremacist, i don’t believe in that at all, and I think that Black people, particularly young Black men, are treated like criminals right off the bat and they haven’t even done anything. I know very well that there is good and bad in every community. But I know that Black people have been and continue to be treated as second-rate citizens for many centuries and it must stop.
Kate , Why do you act like 50 years of the anarchy of Rap Music and it’s culture do not even exist? Not only you, but much of the American culture at large. Isn’t “treated like criminals right of the bat” a little, just a little, stale?
No, I do not think that the idea of Black men being “treated like criminals” right off the bat is stale at all. Look at what’s happening all around us. Black Lives Matter came to be because of George Floyd being murdered right in front of a whole neighborhood in Minneapolis by 4 cops. After that, every day there was a story on the news about a Black man, like Armand Arbery, being chased down and murdered in an all white neighborhood. He was only walking through it!He hadn’t committed a crime! And then that poor man (I don’t remember his name) who was killed at the Wendy’s because he fell asleep in his car, and he tried to run away from the cops because he knew it wouldn’t end well. And it didn’t!! And those are only 3 examples. There are many more that happened prior to George Floyd’s murder. Almost nobody is brought to justice. So, in my opinion, the 50 years of rap music and its culture does not equal young men (and in some cases, women) deserving to be chased, hunted down and murdered. That is what the Klan and white supremacy would have you believe.
Kate, Tony Timpa died the same exact way as George Floyd but that didn’t make national news because he’s white. Unarmed black men being killed by police is probably around 2 dozen at best. Twice as many white people get killed by police.
As far as white people killing black people goes black on white crime is far more common. Google about Carly Capek, a white woman who was murdered by a black man for absolutely no reason. I have no agenda by even talking about the story it’s just recent and local for me. But Capek’s story won’t be made to seem like a national tragedy like Floyd’s.
Michael, the real “white supremacists” are the black men who are terrorizing each other. No one shows violence towards black people as much as black men. My city alone has had several murders and attemptive murders of black males by other black males just this week alone. You probably think someone is only pro-black if they are solely outraged when a white cop kills a black person.
I’m black and I have never victimized another black (or any other race) person in my life but you would call me a “white suprematist” because I actually call out the pathologies that continue to plague our communities.
Michael,
The black people who “hate themselves” are the ones continuing violence and destruction. The black people who “hate themselves” are the ones who have kids and abandon them. That’s the true definition of “self hate”. Black people who respect themselves and others are not “self haters”.
I want nothing but peace and prosperity for black people but folks like Cleotha Abston and Ezekiel Kelly obviously want nothing but terror for black people and others. If you want to call out anyone, call out the likes of Cleotha Abston and Ezekiel Kelly.
