(ThyBlackMan.com) What’s coming after Fallout 4? The Fallout 5 it will be, of course, but in terms of gameplay features, the next installment in the series should come as an improvement when we look at its predecessor. Fallout 4 changed the feel of the series in a significant way and you can’t ignore how Bethesda has emphasized on crafting in the game. With the game’s release, many in-game items got their values up allowing players to craft an entire settlement from scratch. The game is very big, it offers massive gameplay but still we feel that a few pieces are missing and the new game can bring the sense of completeness.
Read on to find out what Bethesda can do in the Fallout 5 after learning from the experience players had with the current game.
A New Setting
We have visited the Western, Northeastern and the Midwestern US in the Fallout game series. Why can’t we come out of the United States and get other regions to explore? Fallout needs to come out of America and put players in the regions which can actually be considered as ideal locations to portray the pre-nuclear wasteland Fallout world. The possibilities are endless even in the United States. If the developers really want to bring changes with Fallout 5, the game’s setting must be changed this time.
A Big Map
We know how dense the city is in the Fallout 4 but we also love the open areas which are empty and can be explored when players are not in a mood to stay close to the city. What makes Fallout 3 map special is the vastness of the Capital Wasteland. The region gives a realistic feel about post-apocalyptic environment by featuring a completely destroyed area. Mixing these two elements will not only help designers plan a big map, but it will also give more space to players.
Improved Settlements
The main character does everything when it comes to settlements. It is better if the character is allowed to assign tasks to the settlers so they can build stuff on their own. It’s pointless to make the main character do all the things when players can simply give settlers the necessary objects and every time the players come back, they find something new. One more addition we expect in the upcoming game is giving a character to settlers. It will not only add fun to the game, but it can make the whole settlements thing more engaging.
Better Quests
With the Fallout 4, we saw the side-quests that are required to set the settlements free. In most of the cases, these quests are annoying; there’s no sense of uniqueness and it feels like Bethesda didn’t invest much time in making the quests. With Fallout 5 release, we expect that things will be different. The developers should either allow players to skip the quest with an alternative or the quests must be drastically improved.
Improved Transportation
In the Fallout 4, you can cover the distance between two points by either choosing fast travel or by walk. There’s no other way, but now when we are expecting a bigger world with new locations to explore, Bethesda should consider bringing new ways to make travel an easy affair in the new game. The Vertibirds are really good, but this time, Bethesda should lift the limitations. Allowing players to explore the open world with new transportation system will surely help players in many situations.
Gamers across the world have been waiting for the launch of Fallout 5. Speculations about the game’s release have already reached forums and social media platforms. Despite teasing fans about the game’s arrival, the developer Bethesda has yet to make the official announcement for the game’s release.

I am biased towards a UK Fallout.
I what I really want to see is an improvements on settlements, I liked that you could build whatever you wanted but there wasn’t much variety without mods. I always felt like you should need to create blacksmiths, wood cutters and carpenters and other such things in order to get all of the items for your settlement and the more you develop your key settlement the more you get out of them.
If a player doesn’t really care about the settlements then they would remain a dirty trash heap where settlers wear rags and sleep on the floor, but if players like the settlement gameplay then they should really improve. would love to see some sort of economy and industry created.
But with the above there is so much that can be done with it, rebuilding it for the common good or just become a dictator, whether a mad scientist carrying out experiments or just a Raider.
You could also develop a military or police force depending on your game style.
But more than that I want to see new creatures, really want to be able to ride a horse or a mutant-horse. But also feel like there should be some motor vehicles used by factions that a player can eventually obtain. What about a train network you have to build?
Or even a bicycle? what better way to get around than a bike its quicker than walking.
With horses I think this will be better as traders walking around with Brahmin is stupid and looks weird.
Id definitely like to see a survivor and his Family,(wife, 1 child< dog) in a Europe setting, were you have to protect your family, under realistic, present day terrorists, and new beast relevant to the region, with working bunkers from WW2 or tunnels dug out like the Korea war, jungles like Vietnam with the usual fallout aftermath.
Thanks for the breaking it down. Fallout 5 will be a huge hit.
