(ThyBlackMan.com) This country seems to have turned itself upside down since 45, and his administration, took over the White House. Americans are thoroughly embarrassed, and it seems the Republicans on the Hill have no regard for anyone but themselves. The funny thing is many of us saw this foolishness coming. Many Americans, Republicans included, wish they could go back to the Obama administration. It is easy to see the difference between the administration, and even those that opposed the previous president are at wits end with the current. In the wake of all the madness many Democrats, and Black Americas want to hear from the former president.
They want Obama to come out and take a stand against this current administration. They want him to defend himself against the false accusations, and they want him to defend the American people. May ask what about Obama’s legacy…why won’t he defend it? How can the former leader of the Democratic party remain silent in the face of blatant injustice? What many don’t understand it’s best the 
Former President Barack Obama remain silent. It was great that he enjoyed his much earned vacation with his family in silence. It is great that now that he’s back he’s focused on community, writing his books and being an active private citizen.
This might be hard for some to swallow, but the former president has done his job. This country did not appreciate him not his family when he was in office. He was on the campaign trail urging Americans not to make the choice it made, and as a country we didn’t listen. What more do we want him to do, and if he did it would we stand with him? It’s very easy to say yes, but have you noticed the division within this country? There are people in our own communities still upset screaming Obama didn’t do enough for black people…not realizing he was the president of all people.
Furthermore, having a black president was not enough, as a people we would have to decide to come together and fight for our own community. We were as ignorant as others about the way government works in this country. Bottom line we wanted the president to do things that he didn’t even have the power to do. We did not hold our local, state nor congressional leaders to the same accountability by which we held the president. It’s time we, as least as Black Americans, own that truth.
Furthermore, Trump is looking for a fight. We see this immaturity almost daily in his Twitter rants. If the former president where to speak out, as some of want, he would give Trump a definite target. Nothing Obama says will truly be heard or addressed; Trump is just going to act a fool in Trump fashion. A fall out between two administrations would be the ultimate distraction while a Republican congress does as they please. Some have called Former President Obama to descend from the high road and deal with this 45 situation, but it’s not in the best interest of the American people nor his family. If we are disgusted with this administration, we must fight it… harder than we fought the previous.
The current administration has blamed Obama for quite a bit that was no his fault; we should not do the same. Giving this current president more attention is not going to make him see reason. The former president can’t reason with a president that is unwilling, and refuses to listen to most. Obama cares about the community, and this country. He is willing to work with organizers, and we should roll our sleeves up and get back to work. It is obvious that if we want to better this country we must do it ourselves.
