(ThyBlackMan.com) On January 11, 2017 President Elect Donald Trump gave his first News Conference. This conference took place the morning after President Obama’s farewell address. We are definitely seeing the transfer of power between the administrations, and the vast differences. President Elect Trump, once he is President, might want to try to grasp the feel of his country. Mr. Trump this country as a whole is divide, afraid, and uncertain. Much of the fear and uncertainty is because they don’t know what will happen to our way of life once you take office.
Since being elected you have seemed to value fussing on twitter more than attending your intelligence briefing. If the intelligence community says something you don’t want to hear…its written off as fake. If the media speaks against, or anyone for that matter, the
direction you are headed they are attacked. Maybe you have the wrong idea about how this Presidency thing works. However, you might want to figure it out before January 20, 2017.
“I must say that I want to thank a lot of the news organizations here today because they looked at that nonsense that was released by maybe the intelligence agencies? Who knows, but maybe the intelligence agencies which would be a tremendous blot on their record if they in fact did that. A tremendous blot, because a thing like that should have never been written, it should never have been had and it should certainly never been released.”
Decorum as a president is important. President Elect Trump has to look at the fact that it would not be wise to continue being caught up in his own shadow. Once he is president he doesn’t really have time to police everything said about him, and the media will scrutinize him and his family. This hardship comes with the territory unfortunately. President Obama was scrutinized, and disrespected by many for eight years both at home and abroad. Trump may not remember it but he was one of the scrutinizing voices against the outgoing President. He will need to grow some tough skin and set his mind to meeting the needs of his nation…not his ego.
“We’re going to create jobs. I said that I will be the greatest jobs producer that God ever created. And I mean that, I really — I’m going to work very hard on that. We need certain amounts of other things, including a little bit of luck, but I think we’re going to do a real job. And I’m very proud of what we’ve done.”
President Elect Trump leads quite a bit with job creation and this is not a bad thing at all. However, the Unites States is not a corporation so he might want to keep that in mind. Many people know how to use Google so it might not be in his best interest to fabricate what he has done, or can do. Once he is President I am sure he will find out that Congress is not a petulant child that can be forced into submission. Yes, he can veto power, and congress has the power to override. This is not a reality show, and you can’t yell “You’re Fired”.
“Well, if — if Putin likes Donald Trump, I consider that an asset, not a liability, because we have a horrible relationship with Russia. Russia can help us fight ISIS, which, by the way, is, number one, tricky. I mean if you look, this administration created ISIS by leaving at the wrong time. The void was created, ISIS was formed.”
Remember many Americans have access to Google so it would be wise not to make statements merely for shock appeal. Mr. Trump may want to consider that the origins of ISIL can date back as far as 1999. That was definitely not this administration. It’s just time to stop saying certain things and work towards resolving threats against this country. With that being said…you won the election. You can stop the Hillary Clinton bash train. It looks childish, and petty. We should expect more from our next President, and he should consider the gravity of the office he is about to hold. America is uneasy for a reason, and it is the responsibility of the incoming President to relieve the tension he has had a hand in creating.
