(ThyBlackMan.com) USA policies are no different today, for African-Americans, than what they were 200 years ago or when the Ronald Reagan’s administration schemed to flood the black community with crack cocaine in order to fund his illegal war in Nicaragua. That one action completely destroyed millions of Black lives and presently still having a negative impact on African-Americans.
Reagan’s administration had other strategies in place as well: Never speak ill of black folks in public. Only speak the negative when you know where you are and who you are with. ALWAYS put your personal self-interest before justice for black folks.
Thanks to 400 years of oppression many Black African-Americans have brought into the idea that black is something sinister and evil, which is the antithesis of the true meaning of black. Black implies self-control and discipline, independence and a strong will, exuding authority and power. It gives an impression of elegance, sophistication and confidence. Black can be intimidating, unfriendly and unapproachable because of the power it emanates, radiating authority creating fear in the process.
There’s no better illustration of this phenomenon than Alexander the Great looked upon as the greatest conqueror of all time, when in 332 B.C on his world conquering rampage marched into Ancient Egypt he was challenged by a formidable force…the black Queen Candace. She was world famous as a military tactician and field commander. Alexander would not risk his world fame and unbroken chain of victories marred by defeat at the hands of a woman. He halted his armies at the border of Ethiopia and did not invade to meet the waiting Queen Candace and her army of black warriors. This is just one of countless examples that when we are—collectively—in our RIGHT minds the indomitable force we can be. This is the true essence of Black.
If the world is to be saved, and taking out of the sly, slick and wicked hands of those presently in power, the Black race is going to have to come out from underneath their 400 year old anesthesia and acknowledge how they have been deceived, hoodwinked and bamboozled, and move to take back control of their own fate and destiny. While it may be difficult or perhaps impossible to change in any revolutionary way, our economic situation for a long time to come, we can change our impaired consciousness and through a healthier consciousness we can literally change the world.
This mere possibility is why it is of political necessity, in the minds of the oppressor, for black people to be kept dumb downed and made to appear to be out of their minds and to at ALL cost prevent any sort of unification. Through centuries of systematic mind control black people have been conditioned to think backwards and upside down regardless as to how educated or uneducated we may be.
In politics, entertainment, sports, etc. we have seen black people individually excel and ascend to heights that 50 years ago wouldn’t have been achievable. However, these accomplishments pale in comparison to the days of Black Wall Street, Tulsa, Oklahoma. Not since then have African Americans—as a group—demonstrated any prowess or penchant to develop some sort of infrastructure. The date was June 1, 1921, when “Black Wall Street,” the name fittingly given to one of the most affluent of all Black communities in America, was bombed from the air and burned to the ground by mobs of envious whites. In a period spanning fewer than 12 hours, a once thriving Black business district in northern Tulsa lay smoldering…a model community destroyed, and a major African-American economic movement resoundingly defused.
The area encompassed over 600 businesses (e.g. own school system, bus company, hospital, etc.) and 36 square blocks with a population of 15,000 African-Americans. When the average student went to school on Black Wall Street, he wore a suit and tie because of the morals and respect they were taught at a young age. The mainstay of the community was to educate every child.
During the independence movements of the 60s (civil rights, etc.) for a moment in history our oppressor fearfully thought we had the ability to come to power. We engaged in a lot of ceremony but we didn’t have the substance. We have since—as a group—retrogressed not progressed.
We have instead used our oppressor’s excuse for separating ourselves one against the other, as though there has been a separate oppression for different ones of us. No one came to America on separate slave ships. No Americans, Jamaicans, Haitians, Trinidadians, etc. left Africa. No Delta’s, Phi Beta’s, crack addicts, homosexuals, misogynist, and serial killers came over on those slave ships. There were no sub-humans, bestial savage beasts aka n**gers/n**ga. Away from Africa we have been transformed into something that never would have happened had we not been removed from Africa.
To maintain dominance over enslaved Africans it was imperative to manipulate their way of thinking to condition them to think backwards and upside down about themselves and those who ruled them. To this very day in their backward of thinking many African-Americans think it is a normal and natural act to embrace a word that slave masters anointed them with, a word which is a surviving remnant of a psychological warfare which was conducted to embellish self-hate, self-destruction, inferior thinking, dependency, inappropriate behavior to support achievement of a national objective which has never been abandoned…mental enslavement of a race of people…the N-word.
The enslaved were conditioned to be paternalistic and believe that black symbolizes inferiority and white…superiority. It isn’t an accident that we are the only two groups who refer to ourselves by a color…it is all by design. Black people just don’t get it, this isn’t about skin color it’s about…mind control. Mental enslavement is the worst form of enslavement there is, yet the history books omit the atrocious mental abuses enslaved Africans were subjected to, such omissions only benefit descendants of the slave owners.
The myth of cultural inferiority fosters the idea that Black people have never rose above the jungle life of grass huts or constructively contributed to the advancement of humankind. It can’t be emphasized enough that African culture doesn’t begin with slavery. Africans did not sleep in the dark waiting for Europeans to bring the light—Black Africans were the light.
No African state that was ruled over, invaded by the Arabs, Greeks, Romans, Portuguese, Spanish and the English were ever in chaos, these states were intact…the invaders didn’t restore or create order…they created DISORDER…they declared war on the African culture and way of life. The strong and established ancient civilizations of Africa which included Mali, Ethiopians, Songhai Empire, Ghana, and others attest to this fact, along with controversial Egypt. The Greeks, Romans, Europeans all learned from the Africans, which any student of African history is well aware of. It was the Black Moors and Arabs who rescued Europe from the Dark Ages, teaching them latitude and longitude so that they could once again set sail on the high seas.

Ancient Africa – A History Denied
Black people minds are calibrated differently which is a good thing when we are…in our right minds…presently we aren’t. Yet many of you recoil from this fact as if our difference is in some way inferior to others, just as you have been conditioned to do. Non-blacks saw how our way of life and culture was different from theirs and immediately sat out to destroy and ridicule it. Africa has never rebounded from this onslaught…and nor have black folks world-wide.
The numerical minority (ruling class) have psyched the entire world into thinking that Africans waited in darkness for them to bring the light…this is a falsehood, quite the contrary the oppressor have proven to be the greatest bunch of mass murderers the world has ever witnessed. Everywhere they go, they bring NO light—they put OUT the light. There is no greater evidence of this than in today’s society where Haiti has had the life virtually sucked out of it due to USA policies. Liberia for decades was under the control of Firestone and the country was decimated. Belgium’s King Leopold raped and plundered the Congo. The island of Tasmanian were invaded by the French, who killed EVERY man, woman and child. The Middle East is presently in chaos. Multitudes of people in Africa are going hungry and starving to death, dying by the thousands…which is no accident but by design.
The early colonizers knew that not only did they need the resources of Africa, but their minds as well. The colonists knew that if they could control the African mind they could control all of Africa. This philosophy has been extended to black people world-wide. Most black people cannot begin to comprehend how [deep] any of this REALLY goes.
Oppression cannot be overcome by simultaneously sympathizing with the oppressor. Being afraid to meet obstacles head on as a UNIFIED group is sympathizing with the oppressor. Those who choose to be neutral…neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim. Silence encourages the tormentor, never the tormented.
The falsehoods of how civilizations were built need to be vehemently and unapologetically challenged. The study of history and science need to become a religious activity whereby the fragmentation that we have suffered, the sense of deprivation, the sense of alienation and hopelessness can be redeemed by a new sense of wholeness; such a sense can bring about a new vision, new hope for humankind, a new way of life.
Our life away from Africa has been a continual Holocaust and we will never regain our wholeness until we realize wherever we are on the face of this earth be it the Caribbean Islands, USA—our political and cultural heartbeat is Africa. Nobody voluntarily frees anybody. When someone takes your freedom they DON’T voluntarily give it back to you, you must take it back, which means taking back control of our OWN minds and consciousness.
We can collectively rise as a people—when we as a people—learn to respect one another and stop running away from each other into the hands of the oppressor…which indubitably have been the ramifications of integration.
