As you know, I aint one to be talking about nobody but…………………..
Instead of the B.A.U. (Behavioral Analysis Unit) hunting down and arresting SSI Aaron Hotchner for assaulting one of the writers of his chracter, the Criminal Minds organization decided to
fire the actor, Thomas Gibson, as a consequence for the unwarranted assault.
In a letter to fans, Mr. Gibson apologized for his actions and gracefully accepted his dismissal from the show.
Funny thing is I remember when Criminal Minds first aired, way back in 2005. I was an avid viewer. But after viewing a few gory seasons and watching all of the killings and seeing all of the bloodshed and observing all of the violence, the show finally began to takes its toll upon my sensibilities.
I’m not saying this to say that I’m a gullible child whose mind would be washed by rationally explained psychotic behavior. However, I am saying that Thomas Gibson, in his twelve years of walking that thin line between fiction and non fiction, appeared to may have morphed (temporarily) into one of his nemisis, maybe the Reaper.
No. The Reaper was a murderer. A serial killer. Mr. Thomas Gibson simply kicked the writer. I say simply because that’s how it starts. Let’s hope for Mr. Gibson’s sake, his violent outburst remains a simple kick…..maybe in his own backside.
