(ThyBlackMan.com) Detroit, Michigan born Kenya Moore who recently celebrated her 45th birthday on January 24th has numerous accolades under her belt. Of course Kenya was Miss Michigan and Miss USA in 1993. She always wears creative hats such as author, actress, model, producer and Real Housewives of Atlanta television personality.

Kenya Moore has made appearances on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Meet the Browns, Martin, The Jamie Foxx Show, Girlfriends and movies which include Waiting to Exhale, Deliver Us From Eva and Trapped: Haitian Nights. She began directing and producing in 2007 and by 2008, Kenya Moore launched her own company titled, Moore Vision Media. It was through Moore Vision Media that Kenya produced an erotic thrilled which is entitled “The Confidant“. I must commend Miss Kenya Moore for breaking new grounds within the industry, she has certainly worked hard to make her presence and talents known in the world.

In May 2012 Kenya Moore was casted in the 5th season of Real Housewives of Atlanta (RHOA) on Bravo. Unfortunately, RHOA is the realm in which the majority came to known the glamorous kenya-moore-rhoa-2016beauty queen. I say its unfortunate solely because after putting so much positive energy into fulfilling her dreams, it seems Kenya Moore is tarnishing her image through her appearance on RHOA.

My question is: Is Kenya Moore’s personality on The Real Housewives of Atlanta showcasing her as classy or ratchet?

Real Housewives of Atlanta Kenya Moore recently sat down with Chris Witherspoon of The Grio to discuss the many issues arising between Moore and her fellow RHOA co-stars. When asked if she was excited about Nene Leakes return, Kenya Moore stated “the verdict is still out”. Confusion or should I say “beef” sparked after Kenya called Nene a backstabber. It seems Nene Leakes and Cynthia Bailey had a falling out. Kenya Moore went on to tell Chris that “you don’t tell your friends secrets after you’ve had a falling out and you don’t attempt to get them fired”.

Immediately after, Real Housewives of Atlanta Kenya Moore began to share her thoughts on Kim Fields or Tootie for those of us who grew up watching “The Facts of Life” saying  “I just don’t think she’s a good fit. Fans don’t think she’s a good fit. I think she’s on the show to collect a check,” Moore said. “I don’t think that she’s there to have a sisterhood, to have a camaraderie. I think it’s all about her. She thinks she’s above everyone.” Kenya even went on to ask if Kim Fields had found her husband in the lingerie store buying items for himself.

As one who admires the work Real Housewives of Atlanta Kenya Moore has put in, it is truly unfortunate to see her stoop to such levels of drama and ratchetness on RHOA. As she stated about Kim Fields, I do not feel Kenya Moore is a good fit for the show. I do not see the camaraderie or sisterhood she speaks of being highlighted in the show. All I see is women being spiteful, disrespectful towards one another and doing whatever is necessary to fulfill the negative stereotypes often associated with women of color in order to “collect a check”.

New episodes of The Real Housewives of Atlanta begins on Sunday, February 14th on BRAVO. Are you expecting to see sisterhood and camaraderie amongst these women or will this be another season of the usual bickering and destruction?
