(ThyBlackMan.com) Dr. Ben Carson, now second in most polls for the Republican presidential nomination, naturally finds himself under attack by threatened lefties. GQ published an anti-Carson article with the headline “F–k Ben Carson,” except it spelled out the f-word. Comic actor Seth Rogen tweeted “F–k you” to Carson. And a Daily Beast column accused him of anti-Semitism. The columnist cited Godwin’s law, which states that debate gets shut down the minute one invokes Nazi Germany to make a point.
Let’s deal with them in order.
First, GQ. What incensed the writer was Carson’s assertion that he would not have cooperated with the recent Oregon Community College mass killer, and that he would have urged the other would-be victims to rush the shooter. “I would say, ‘Hey, guys, everybody attack him. He may shoot me, but he can’t get us all.'” said Carson. To the GQ columnist, Dr. Ben Carson must be on performance-enhancing drugs: “You are now bearing witness to an arms race of stupid, because stupid is in such high demand from the GOP base at the present moment. Stupid is what gets you attention, and attention is what gets you better polling numbers.”
Was Dr. Ben Carson outlandish? Didn’t President Obama play host at the White House to three Americans who did just what Carson said — rushed in and subdued a terrorist on a French train?
And isn’t military veteran Chris Mintz rightfully being called a hero for taking seven shots as he blocked the Oregon killer from entering his classroom?
And didn’t those passengers on United Flight 93 force a crash landing in a field outside Shanksville, Pennsylvania, rather than allow the terrorists to reach their ultimate destination — most likely the White House or the U.S. Capitol building?
Second, let’s discuss the Canadian import, Seth Rogen. What prompted his profane tweet? Carson said, “The likelihood of Hitler being able to accomplish his goals would have been greatly diminished if the people had been armed.” This prompted Rogen’s “F–k you, Ben Carson” tweet — no further elaboration offered. The Anti-Defamation League says that guns would have been of little use.
But Independent Institute’s senior research fellow Stephen P. Halbrook, author of “Gun Control in the Third Reich,” sides with Carson: “Why did they disarm these people — that would be the political enemies of the Third Reich, and that would be the Jewish people — before they did violence on them? There’s only one reason. I’m not saying that Nazi Germany would not have been in tyranny, or that the Holocaust would not have happened, but certainly had people had a better means of resistance, the situation might not have been as bad as it was.”
Halbrook points to a number of gun control and disarmament actions in Germany that took place just before and during Hitler’s rise to power. “And then in 1938,” says Halbrook, “in the weeks before Kristallnacht — the Night of the Broken Glass — why did the Nazis order a general disarmament of all of the Jews in Germany? There’s only one reason — they could attack them. Some have said that the Kristallnacht was the day the Holocaust began. And that was the day that there were massive, massive attacks throughout all of Germany — burning synagogues, breaking into Jewish houses, vandalizing their businesses. So gun control facilitated the Holocaust. It didn’t cause it — there were a variety of factors that made it possible.”
Third, this brings us to Godwin’s Law. Mike Godwin, a law professor, noted that in online discussions — if they continue long enough — someone is going to make a Nazi comparison. The term has come to mean that when one uses Nazi comparisons or analogies, he seeks to shut down the conversation, stifling debate.
Does this indignation apply to the left?
Democratic mega-donor George Soros once said the George W. Bush White House displayed the “supremacist ideology of Nazi Germany” and that Bush’s administration used rhetoric that echoed his childhood in occupied Hungary. “When I hear Bush say, ‘You’re either with us or against us,'” Soros said, “it reminds me of the Germans.”
Former Vice President Al Gore said, “(President George W. Bush’s) executive branch has made it a practice to try and control and intimidate news organizations, from PBS to CBS to Newsweek. … And every day, they unleash squadrons of digital brownshirts to harass and hector any journalist who is critical of the President.”
NAACP chairman Julian Bond, in 2004, criticized those controlling the White House and Congress: “(Republicans) preach racial equality but practice racial division. … Their idea of equal rights is the American flag and Confederate swastika flying side by side.” He later said, “The Republican Party would have the American flag and the swastika flying side by side.”
Why the hyperventilation over Dr. Ben Carson?
He represents a clear and present danger to the left. He counters Dems’ narrative that racism remains a major hindrance to black progress. If 20-25 percent of blacks start voting Republican, the Democratic Party is toast. And they know it.

WOW!
Former SDA pastor Russell E Kelly must have a whopper of a vendetta against the SDA Church!
There are many important truths about the SDA Church beliefs that the reader should know:
1. Seventh-day Adventists are forbidden to cause physical harm or death in the name of God or the Church against anyone. This is held to be the prerogative of God and God alone. This stands in sharp contrast to the years of the Inquisition, or the practices even today under Shariah Law.
2. All bible readers of all religious denominations are free to interpret the prophecies of the bible as they wish. Whatever their differing opinions may be, this in no way controls what God will actually do in the future. God may be trying to tell us what He is going to do, but we don’t tell God what He must do!
3. The SDA church is a “Sola Scriptura” (the bible, and the bible only) church. A belief in Ellen White’s writings is NOT a test of church membership!
4. The SDA Church has always taught what Jesus taught: “I have sheep in other folds,” which has always referred to believers in Jesus Christ in other churches.
5. The SDA Church is totally against the use of any kind of force by any civil authority or religious organization to compel people to observe any religious traditions or doctrines against their will. The SDA Church has always been in the forefront of religious freedom for all.
If what Mr. Kelly is saying or inferring is that Dr. Ben Carson would be a dangerous person to be the President of the United States, nothing could be further from the truth. First and foremost in Dr. Carson’s agenda would be to stay true to the Constitution of the United States, and to keep our citizens safe, while living his own PERSONAL life according to the morality taught in the New Testament of the Holy Bible.
Do not support Ben Carson. He teaches that Jesus will kill all Sunday worshippers when He returns..
by Russell Earl Kelly, PHD, October 15, 2015
Dr. Ben Carson is dishonest when it comes to his faith. As an ordained
Seventh-day Adventist elder and Sabbath-School teacher, he is fully aware of its doctrinal teachings. Yet he manages to hide his real faith from public view and has done so for decades.
The Seventh-day Adventists’ doctrinal statement and its prophetess Ellen G White teach opposite from what Carson often teaches in public. Therefore Carson should either renounce the SDA Church and Ellen G. White or stop teaching contradictory views. Furthermore, because of what SDAs teach about the United States government, they should not be allowed to hold public office.
Christian Post published an article by Sami Martin about Carson’s faith on September 12, 2015. The following are examples of his contradictory double standards.
Post: Carson is also well-known for his religious beliefs.
Adventist News Network, 4-5-2013:
ANN: Are there ever any times when you feel it’s best to distinguish yourself from the Seventh-day Adventist Church and what it teaches? Carson: No, I don’t. http://news.adventist.org/all-news/news/go/2013-04-05/church-chat-carson-handles-spotlight-prayerfully-humbly/
Comment: He has been hiding his SDA elder-teacher doctrines for decades and nobody has researched and challenged him in this area.
Post: This Seventh-day Adventist has relied upon his faith from a young age and continues to do so today.
Comment: Yes, but he speaks opposite words according to his audience.
Post: Even though he belongs to the Seventh-day Adventist church, he often attends churches of different traditions and has said that he appreciates the beliefs of other faiths.
Kelly: Sincere SDAs would not say this. SDAs call Roman Catholics the antichrist beast of Revelation 13 and the great whore of Revelation 17. They call Protestants the daughters of the great whore. SDA pastors join ecumenical pastoral fellowships to convert them; they hide their real doctrines. Carson worships with what his church calls false believers who worship on Sunday, the mark of the antichrist beast. [Rev 14:8]
Carson: “I’m not convinced that the denomination is the most important thing.”
Kelly: This is either a very great delusion or else a deliberate lie. SDAs teach that they exclusively are the only true church and everybody else is harlot Babylon or its harlot daughters. Read The Great Controversy, pages 615-616.
Carson: “… it’s the relationship with God that’s most important.”
Comment: This is contrary to SDA doctrine. If Carson believes this is true, then he needs to publicly renounce both Seventh-day Adventism as a false exclusive cult and publicly disagree with Ellen G. White.
Carson: “As a Christian, I am not the least bit offended by the beliefs of Hindus, Buddhists, Muslims, Mormons and so forth. In fact, I am delighted to know that they believe in something that is more likely to make them into a reasonable human being, as long as they don’t allow their religion to be distorted by those seeking power and wealth.” America the Beautiful, 2012.
Comment: No SDA leader or even church elder-teacher would be allowed to publicly say this without suffering great discipline from his/her SDA church and even denominational leaders! As a former SDA pastor I know better. A lesser member would have been punished long ago. SDAs teach that only Sabbath-keeping SDAs will be saved in the last days.
Post: Carson believes that religious practices should be respected across the country so long as they do not limit or infringe upon the rights of others and links religious “persecution” in America to acts of persecution from abroad.
Comment: SDAs are urged to anticipate religious persecution from everybody else because the last-day great tribulations will be blamed on them. SDAs see themselves as targets of a death decree for not worshipping on Sunday. Read The Great Controversy, 626, below.
Carson: “… ensuring that no one’s beliefs infringe upon those of others.”
Comment: This is radically contrary to SDA marching orders. It is their mission to convert as many as possible to Saturday worship before the mark of the beast is imposed upon themselves.
Carson: “… as long as there’s more than one force, you are not going to have one force dominating everything. I do believe that will eventually be the case, but it’s not the case now.”
Comment: SDAs teach one world government and one world church dominated by Satan and antichrist immediately through apostate Roman Catholicism and apostate Protestants before Jesus returns to rescue Sabbath-keepers from their death decree. Read The Great Controversy, pages 615-616, below.
Carson: “To try to impose one’s religious beliefs on someone else is absolutely what we should not be doing.
Comment: This is exactly opposite what SDAs teach. It is the mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, of which Carson is a local elder and Sabbath-school teacher, to convert as many as possible to Sabbath-keeping to save them.
Ben Carson cannot have it both ways. Again, he must either repudiate all of his public evangelical statements or else publicly renounce Seventh-day Adventism and Ellen G. White. He cannot continue to teach one belief system to his SDA church on Saturday and another to the non-SDA world at large. God hates liars.
THE FALSE PROPHET U.S.A.
Ben Carson and Seventh-day Adventists Call the United States of America a False Prophet of Roman Catholic Antichrist
Fact #1: The most important “inspired” book of Seventh-day Adventism beyond the Bible is Prophetess Ellen G. White’s The Great Controversy. Carson must be very much familiar with this book. It is quoted often in SDA literature and Sabbath-school quarterlies.
Fact #2: The Great Controversy teaches that a last-day “antichrist beast” Roman Catholic Church and the “false prophet” United States Government will unite to kill Seventh-day Adventists (Revelation 13 all). See chapter 25, pages 440-449, chapter 35, page 573, chapter 38, pages 604- 605 and chapter 39, pages 615-626.
Ben Carson cannot disagree with Ellen G. White and remain a Seventh-day Adventist. Therefore Ben Carson is anti-Roman Catholic, anti-Protestant and anti-U. S. Government! You can read this yourself from The Great Controversy at any SDA Church, or you can read the excerpts below from my web site http://tithing-russkelly.com/sda/id37.html
Seventh-day Adventists are taught to fear and distrust the Roman Catholic Church, all other Protestants and, especially, the United States government itself. See GC626.
Fact #3: SDAs are taught that the U. S. Government is the false prophet for the antichrist beast Roman Catholic Church in Revelation 13:11-18.
GC440: One nation, and only one, meets the specifications of this prophecy [Rev. 13:11-18]; it points unmistakably to the United States of America.
Fact #4: SDAs are taught that, in the last days, churches in the U. S. A. will unite to enforce Sunday worship and oppose Saturday-Sabbath worshippers.
GC445: “WHEN the leading churches of the United States, uniting in such points of doctrine as are held by them in common, shall influence the state to enforce their decrees and to sustain their institutions, THEN Protestant America will have formed an image to the Roman hierarchy, and the inflictions of civil penalties upon dissenters inevitably result.” [Revelation 13:14-18]
Fact #5: SDAs teach that forced Sunday worship will unite Roman Catholics and Protestants as Babylon and her daughters.
GC448-449: “The enforcement of Sunday keeping on the part of the Protestant churches is an enforcement of the worship of the papacy the beast. … hence the enforcement of Sunday keeping in the United States would be an enforcement of the worship of the beast and his image.”[Rev 13:14-15; 14:1-12; 17 all]
Fact #6: SDAs teach they will eventually enlighten every person on earth about the obligation to worship on Saturday. Afterwards Sunday worshippers will receive the mark of the beast. “Which day of the week to worship?” is a salvation doctrine.
GC449: “But when Sunday observance shall be enforced by law, and the world shall be enlightened concerning the obligation of the true Sabbath, then whoever shall transgress the command of God to obey a precept which has no higher authority than that of Rome, will thereby honor popery above God. He is paying homage to Rome and to the power which embraces the institution ordained by Rome. He is worshiping the beast and his image. As men then reject the institution which God has declared to be the sign of His authority, and honor in its stead that which Rome has chosen as the token of her supremacy, they will thereby accept the sign of allegiance to Rome – ‘the mark of the beast.’ And it is not until this issue is thus plainly set before the people and they are brought to choose between the commandments of God and the commandments of men, that those who continue in transgression will receive “the mark of the beast.” [Rev 13:14-18]
Fact #7: SDAs teach that U. S. Protestants will gain government support for enforced Sunday worship. This action will result in the U. S. A. being ruled by apostate antichrist Roman Catholicism.
GC573: “In the movements now in progress in the United States to secure for the institutions and usages of the church the support of the state, Protestants are following in the steps of papists. Nay, more they are opening the door for the papacy to regain in Protestant America the supremacy which she has lost in the Old World. And that which gives greater significance to this movement is the fact that the principle object contemplated is the enforcement of Sunday observance — a custom which originated with Rome, and which she claims as the sign of her authority.”
Fact #8: SDAs teach that apostate Roman Catholicism and apostate Protestantism will fight SDA Sabbath-keepers and set a date for them to be killed. [Rev. 13:15]
GC604a: “Fearful is the issue to which the world is to be brought. The powers of earth, uniting to war against the commandments of God, will decree that “all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond” (Revelation 13:16), shall conform to the customs of the church by the observance of the false Sabbath. All who refuse compliance will be visited with civil penalties, and it will finally be declared that they are deserving of death. On the other hand the law of God enjoining the Creator’s rest day demands obedience and threatens wrath against all who transgress its precepts….”
Fact #9: SDAs teach that the last-day tribulation plagues, starvation and planet upheavals will be blamed on SDA Sabbath-keepers for not worshipping on Sunday.
GC614: “Those who honor the law of God have been accused of bringing judgments upon the world, and they will be regarded as the cause of the fearful convulsions of nature and the strife and bloodshed among men that are filling the earth with woe.”
Fact #10: SDAs teach that Sunday worshippers in the last days will not be saved.
GC604b: “With the issue thus clearly brought before him, whoever shall trample upon God’s law to obey a human enactment [Sunday] receives the mark of the beast; he accepts the sign of allegiance to the power he chooses to obey instead of God.”
Fact #11: SDAs teach that Saturday-Sabbath worship is the great test of loyalty and salvation, not the gospel of Jesus Christ.
GC605: “The Sabbath will be the great test of loyalty, for it is the point of truth especially controverted. When the final test shall be brought to bear upon men, then the line of distinction will be drawn between those who serve God and those who serve Him not. While the observance of the false Sabbath [Sunday] in compliance with the law of the state, contrary to the fourth commandment, will be an avowal of allegiance to a power that is in opposition to God, the keeping of the true Sabbath, in obedience to God’s law, is an evidence of loyalty to the Creator. While one class, by accepting the sign of submission to earthly powers, receives the mark of the beast, the other, choosing the token of allegiance to divine authority, receives the seal of God.” [Only SDAs can be saved in the last days.]
Fact #12: SDAs teach that apostate Roman Catholicism and apostate Protestantism will issue a death decree for Saturday-Sabbath keepers.
GC615-616: “This argument will appear conclusive; and a DECREE will finally be issued against those who hallow the Sabbath of the fourth commandment, denouncing them as deserving of the severest punishment and giving the people liberty, after a certain time, to put them to DEATH. Romanism in the Old World and apostate Protestantism in the New will pursue a similar course toward those who honor all the divine precepts.” [Rev 13:16-18]
Fact #13: SDAs teach that governments will not protect Saturday-Sabbath keepers from the death decree. They will flee from the cities and villages and associate toget6her in companies, dwelling in the most desolate and solitary places.
GC626: “As the decree issued by the various rulers of Christendom against commandment keepers shall withdraw the protection of government and abandon them to those who desire their destruction, the people of God will flee from the cities and villages and associate toget6her in companies, dwelling in the most desolate and solitary places.” [They hide from society.]
Fact #14: SDAs teach that Jesus will kill all Sunday worshippers and non-Saturday Sabbath-keepers when He returns. This happens, not because they failed to accept Jesus as Lord, but because they have broken God’s law and changed the ordinance – referring to the Sabbath.
GC657 At the coming of Christ the wicked are blotted from the face of the whole earth – consumed … Because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, broken the everlasting covenant.” Isa. 24.
FINAL COMMENTS by Russell Earl Kelly, PHD
Yet, after all this, SDAs insist in their pamphlet, who are the Seventh-day Adventists?, page 6, “So who are [we] really? Are [we] some strange group with weird ideas? Do [our] leaders make bizarre predictions about the future?”
“Yes” and “Yes” again! SDAs want others to see them as calm normal lovable huggable Christians whose main difference is that they worship on Saturday instead of Sunday. They do not want to be exposed as an exclusive cult which alone will be saved because they worship on Saturday.
Again, Ben Carson is an elder and teacher in this exclusive cult. If he does not agree with what SDAs teach openly in The Great Controversy, then Ben Carson should openly and publicly renounce Seventh-day Adventism and its prophetess, Ellen G. White.
The Seventh-day Adventist doctrine [the Mark of the Beast to Sunday worshippers supported by the U. S. government] makes SDAs untrustworthy and UNQUALIFIED as U. S. legislators, soldiers or as persons in responsible government positions. They are clearly anti-U. S. A.

@Marque Anthony,
Your comments and general behavior around this website point to an ongoing state of mental decay. The narcissism isn’t easy to hide anymore and nor is your craving for attention. Get help soon brother. This is not an attempt to be funny!
“Average” people applying themselves continuously can yield endless possibilities which is what Dr. Carson represents AND is a direct threat to the Democractic message of victimization as this Article suggests.
It is obvious simply due to the vitriol and poison which is aimed at Dr. Carson that there was something more cooking then his simple views and statements, which when clearly listen to do not appear to me to be inflammatory or irrational in anyway. Commonsense says there is something bigger Fueling the hatred and animosity buy those of some political persuasions for Dr. Carson and the fact that he’s being a ignored almost completely by most of the mainstream media in popular culture. Something significant is going on here and it only takes common sense to realize that.
Marque, Yes Dr. Carson is the average world renowned Neurosurgeon, educated from a slum existence from a run down Detroit going to the head of one of our nation’s finest hospitals in a field so very few people can operate. However, the word “average” as you used it, is difficult to define even for an average guy like Joe. It would better if you not demean a person’s excellence while disdaining others who excel for our nation’s betterment, contrary to your own feeble point of view.
I disagree with thee foundational premises of this article as well as those ignorant comments made by GQ and in the Daily Beast. While I wrote an article on this site regarding Ben Carson and why he should not be President, I addressed the facts – not partisan BS.
There is no need to resort to ignorant and immature insults of a personal nature regarding Carson. His mouth screws him up quite well. And let us remember President Obama does not exactly walk on water. He has made a lot of mistakes and fixed a lot of things as well.
I encourage you as an author to explore all sides of an issue. That is fair, that is wise and that is honest balance. We need people who look at real issues, not haters and bashers on either side.
Ben Carson is simply the average Joe who happens to be a surgeon. His views are just as off and abstract as many people I have counseled in thee African American community as a family and relationship counselor.
