(ThyBlackMan.com) How soon we forget. How soon we forget the false rape convictions of the Black and Latino teenagers in the Central Park jogger “wilding” rape case. How soon we forget the Duke Lacrosse Team false rape case. How soon we forget the Rolling Stone, Michael Irvin, Derrick Coleman, Chris Webber, DMX, Greg Kelly, and the Heidi Jones false rape cases. As a domestic violence expert, it is amazing to see the national media’s “collective amnesia” regarding these cases, cases in which they were instrumental in “media lynching” these innocent men. In each of these cases, the media publicly convicted the wrongly accused, while sinisterly engaging in “selective reporting” by not relaying the information in their possession that irrefutably showed the accused to be absolutely innocent. They are doing the same in the case of Bill Cosby.
As the information on the website http://cosbyisbeingsetup.simplesite.com reveals, Bill Cosby, (and now Damon Wayans) is being subjected to a blatant double standard when it comes to accusations of sexual impropriety versus his White male celebrity counterparts. The bias is so bad that I can tell if the accused sex predator is Black or White with my back to the television with my eyes closed. If the accused is White, the media immediately questions the character of accuser and invokes strict journalist standards on any negative statements against that male.
If the accused is Black, the media questions every action about him no matter how harmless and irrelevant, while releasing any and every false and unsubstantiated allegation that they can make up. When the accused is White, the most minor indiscretion in accuser’s past is trumpeted as proof of her allegation being false. If the accused is Black, you would think the accuser was the product of an immaculate conception, who just popped up on Earth last night, even if she has an admitted history of prostitution, drug addiction, and worse as is the case with Cosby’s accusers.
Ask yourself, how could these questions not be asked by the media:
-What were 15 year old Bill Cosby accusers Judith Huth and Chloe Goins doing at the Playboy mansion in the middle of the night partying?
-Why aren’t the police investigating the people who let them into the Playboy mansion and brought them there?
-Janice Dickinson, didn’t you say on a reality show, “I would do anything for drugs” in reference to the time in which you are accusing Bill Cosby of drugging you (her admitted drug history http://www.thefix.com/content/janice-dickinson-sober-addict-10008)?
You know why these questions have not been asked, the answers don’t help convict Cosby, the exonerate him.
Even worse is the media’s portrayal of the “Quaalude deposition” as the unquestionable proof of Cosby’s guilt. This is opposite of the truth, the deposition actually further clears Cosby. Bill Cosby was asked a series of questions, culminating in the question “When you got the Quaaludes, was it in your mind that you were going to use these Quaaludes for young women that you wanted to have sex with?” Cosby’s answer was, “Yes.” Bill Cosby is Dr. William H. Cosby PHD, and is of course smart enough to know when and how to lie. All Cosby had to say, and more importantly he knew all he had to say was, “NO.” End of deposition, end of case.
Why did Bill Cosby answer that question in the affirmative? It is exactly what it appears to be, he was being honest. The reason he was being honest will shock the world. Cosby was so honest about the Quaaludes because in the top party capitals of the world, females regularly take date rape drugs for the sole purpose of having “unrestrained” sex. I know this because grew up in Detroit around the world renown Kronk boxing gym, and through that association I met pretty much every major athlete and celebrity on Earth at star studded parties and at ringside in Las Vegas, Miami, NYC, Toronto, and LA.
I’ve had lunch with Donald Trump, advised professional athletes and major pro leagues Cosby like cases, dated models, actresses, and singers for most of my life and watched it happen as the norm, not the exception. Even more stunning for the public to digest is the fact that the main media outlets hanging Cosby MUST know that this fact, because they reviewed the book “Everything You Always Wanted to Know About Sex (But Were Afraid to Ask)” by Dr. David Reuben in which he states that girls and women take date rape drugs such as GBH knowingly and willingly like they take aspirin.
The list of media outlets that reviewed the book reads like the who’s who of the American media. (CNN, People magazine, the Chicago Tribune, etc. not to mention that both People magazine and Entertainment Tonight personally sought this and other more exonerating information from me concerning the accusations against Cosby. Once the information was verified, they made sure you never saw it.) Do you think they forgot that they reviewed Dr. Reuben’s book? NBC, which shut down Cosby’s new show did an hour long program on its news magazine “Dateline” concerning teenage girls voluntarily taking GBH for the sole purpose of engaging in “gangbangs”. Do you think they forgot they ran the program? No, they hope you did.
So to Gloria Allred, I accept your challenge to debate the Cosby case(s) anytime, anywhere, any network. At this point, believing the accusations against Cosby is like giving your money to Bernie Madoff after he was convicted of running the world’s largest Ponzi scheme and sentenced to 150 years in prison. Taking Cosby’s accusers word for it, is like denying that a certain percentage of females like drug fueled sex after reading the autobiographical stunner “Fast Girl” by Olympian, and Vegas call girl Suzy Favor Hamilton. There’s a word for this- deluded.

As a black man I can’t believe this article. I know better than most the harm police racial profiling can have. My brother was involved in a long unjust court case for a sexual assault he didn’t commit.
What I can’t stand about this is that you have used the unfair treatment of black people in the media and the criminal justice system as a reason for him not being guilty. The media treatment may be unfair but can you show me another celebrity with the same magnitude of accusations that hasn’t received the same treatment? This level of accusation has never been seen before. Many of these women have nothing to gain from these claims, he won’t be prosecuted due to the statute of limitations.
Why are you inclined to believe Cosby is innocent? What if you took the fact that it was Bill Cosby out of the case and just heard a ‘celebrity’ had been accused by 12 women of rape described in terrifyingly similar circumstances over an extended period of time. His media treatment and innocence are separate issues.
We will never know if he did it, I just don’t understand why so many women would come out and accuse him if they were lying.
Some black men just don’t realise how harmful their misogynistic attitudes are to their own sisters. Not all women are hoes, not all women are gold diggers, far more women are raped than falsely accuse. Black women are disproportionately affected by rape and sexual assault. I can’t even begin to understand how hard it must be to come forward as a victim. Many of his alleged victims are black women.
I know how hard it is dealing with it when the injustice is everywhere you go, but you can’t let it turn you into a conspiracy theorist. Just as being black shouldn’t make you guilty, it shouldn’t make you innocent.
AS I SAID:
http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/local/breaking/ct-patrick-kane-investigation-20150925-story.html
COMPARE AND CONTRAST THE 3 STORIES:
1) http://www.courier-journal.com/story/sports/college/louisville/2015/02/26/louisville-basketball-chris-jones-arrest-warrant/24044629/
2) http://wtop.com/ncaa-basketball/2015/04/ex-louisville-basketball-player-cleared-of-rape-charge/
3) http://sports.espn.go.com/ncb/news/story?id=5440210
-Notice how the accused but NOT convicted are treated in the 1st story.
-Notice how long it takes the media to say the CCTV showed the accusers were lying in the story vs how soon they “media lynched” the FALSELY accused.
– Look WHO accused the coach, a wannabe model/celebrity. Sound familiar? Dallas Cowboys Michael Irvin & Eric Williams- rapper DMX- NBA stars Chris Webber, Derrick Coleman, Juwan Howard-The Duke Lacrosse Team- Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones- all DNA/CCTV falsely accused of rape by…STRIPPERS seeking fame and a big payday. Sound familiar? What are all of Cosby’s accusers? Prostitutes, wanna be stars/celebs, small time models/actresses, over the hill used to be’s. The psychological profile is exactly the same for all the women.
This is what’s going on folks, ONE (1) media outlet was willing to tell the truth about ALL the EVIDENCE pointing to the DUKE LACROSSE TEAM’S INNOCENCE. ALTHOUGH ALL THE MEDIA OUTLETS HAD THE INFORMATION. It is EXACTLY the same with the current Cosby, Derrick Rose, and Patrick Kane cases-the media knows the incidents did not happen, but are ONLY reporting information that makes the accused look guilty as a crooked prosecutor does. Just ask YOURSELF, “Why didn’t the media tell you the information in the story and on the website?”
THE SHOCKING EVIDENCE SHOWING THE MEDIA IS AGAIN FRAMING A MAN FOR RAPE

I bet you thought that if you said, “…exposes you legally and financially” I would be shaking & eyes bugging out like Stephen Fetchit. I’m not “smart” because I post on the Internet. It’s called, “Picking Up A Book.”
Malcolm X said that you can’t educate a slave and expect for him to remain a slave. I’m sure you and I have more in common than we have differences – unless you are a “black” conservative. Then I can assure you we will never have ANYTHING in common. If we do have commonalities, can’t we just agree to disagree on this subject without the character defamation? I’m imploring you…
The main thing is for us to find the proper economic, social & political solution to the problem of white supremacy.
Some people should be banned from commenting on the internet. They believe the internet somehow makes them SMART. It doesn’t. People should not PLAY lawyer, be one.
Actually, I have NOT accused this miserable human being of ANYTHING. I would be a Fool to do that. I said he WILL FOREVER BE KNOWN as a serial rapist. That’s merely an opinion, just as if I said that Rex Grossman will forever be known as a bad quarterback. So, I just wanted to inform your readers that I have NOT exposed myself to anything…
Actually, you have exposed yourself to a libel suit, being defined as “a published false statement that is damaging to a person’s reputation; a written defamation.” You did make a “published false statement…”
I have to say that I’m amazed that “black” conservatives have no problem with accepting the “testimony” of Officer Darren Wilson, although it was NOT subjected to cross-examination (making it virtually worthless in a legal sense), BUT you won’t accept any un-cross-examined testimony of the 34 women accusing your man. Have you calculated the statistical odds of ALL those women’s stories being not accurate?
Kermit Vick is the typical American civilian. You just accused Cosby of being a rapist and he has been convicted of NOTHING. That exposes you legally and financially. Secondly, there are ZERO facts showing Cosby raped anyone-NOT one.
All the evidence points to females seeking the celebrity life seeking to party with stars and looking for that celebrity to GIVE them a top tier career in showbiz. Every accusation made against White males of Cosby’s celebrity was dismissed as SOON as the prosecutors and police found 1 discrepancy with their allegations (see Greg Kelly, Dr. Phil, and Jerry Jones). Yet there are unending discrepancies in the Cosby case, and most importantly, as in the Duke Lacrosse and Central Park “wilding,” rape cases THE SCIENCE BACKS COSBY AND PROVES THE ALLEGATIONS TO BE IMPOSSIBLE.
And yes Black males need to pull up their pants and take care of their children…or the police will do it for them in a way they won’t like. PURE IGNORANCE.
Because people hate hypocrites!
“…Pull Your Pants Up!”
When Cosby started talking about “Pound-Cake”, there were a group of African-Americans who were rightfully angry at this hypocrite, and began to put a plan into place to ultimately discredit this Fool. They knew that they only had to be patient. And finally, “the chickens came home to roost.”
Now, this despicable, hypocritical “man” will go to his grave knowing that for all the work he ever did in this life, everyone will always remember him as just another Serial Rapist.
Now that’s justice!
Don’t throw bricks if you live in a glass house…
Myron you are 100% correct. WHY is there so much attention on Cosby and so little on others that have been FOUND to be doing a lot worse?
While no one is perfect, Bill Cosby preached a powerful message on how black individuals need to point the finger at themselves when the truth requires it. No one makes a person not study and learn. No one makes a person dress poorly. No one makes a person use improper English. It isn’t the business owner’s fault you don’t get hired when you don’t have an education, don’t dress nice, don’t speak correctly. It is your fault. *The same as with any person regardless of their skin color.
I suspect that powerful people that have portrayed blacks as unable to get a fair shake without government programs and support didn’t like what Bill Cosby was saying. They were afraid people might wake up and listen. Imagine if the people started thinking like the Pioneers of old again. Learning to depend on themselves and each other rather than the government. Working hard, becoming self sufficient. The whole huge beast that is government social programs (with the millions it employs) might shrivel up and die. They couldn’t have that.
They had no choice but to attack Bill Cosby. Their political machine depended on it.
I agree with one aspect of Mr. Anthony’s comment, there is a puppet master running the show behind the scenes, which further evidences the cover up. I am VERY familiar with Hollywood and the entertainment industry as well as the legal aspects of the case. What people are failing to see is the BIG picture and the GRAND picture.
As an expert in the areas concerned, there are certain things that just would NOT happen from a legal and media standpoint in such a case. All the rules are being broken concerning Cosby. You have to ask yourself WHY? Hannibal Buress has his own show now…hmmm look how that just happen to work that he happens to go after Cosby, the media happens to blow it up, and look he happens to get a TV show despite his lack of talent.
The GRAND picture is even more stunning for those that understand certain aspects of the legal case and the behavior or the accusers and their words. Trust me, the FBI right now knows that this is a pure set up and BS. They know it because they know what I know, the Cosby scenario concerning raping the women just could NOT happen in the REAL WORLD. I;m saying it is like a person telling you they drove to moon in their Ford Mustang, it is RIDICULOUSLY IMPOSSIBLE. But as the saying goes, “The BIGGER the LIE, the MORE people BELIEVE it.”
As a former detective who has researched and written about the issue of Cosby and the allegations, I have to say Cosby lynched himself. I have also written articles on this site which examine many of the facts. I have had criminal profiling and I see major problems with Cosby. We tend not to want to believe Cosby, Michael Jackson or O.J. are/were guilty just because our people do not want them to be. But desire is not evidence.
Nobody is mentioning one reason Cosby might be under attack is because along with Oprah, he tried to buy NBC and made a lot of powerful enemies. As for all the women, I suggest all of you readers go to Youtube and listen to Cosby’s new attorney address those issues. Cosby was NOT accused of raping all those women, That is a rumor.
That being said, I find the following:
1. It is likely that someone found and rounded up the initial dozen or so women to come forward and get the ball rolling. Who was that person and why?
2. Cosby is likely guilty of giving the drugs to women to have sex with them and he even joked about it on Larry King and in comedy routines. But it also appears many of these women voluntarily took the drinks, voluntarily went up to his condo or to his trailer and even in a few cases, met him several times after the alleged rape.
Cosby has always put himself out there for decades as the example of morality but in fact we now see he is not. He has been hard on black people yet he made his money in part by exploiting black stereotypes like Fat Albert. Cosby should have never been a hero in the first place. He is a freakin comedian, though he has helped colleges through contributions.
I would rather have watched Good Times or the Jeffersons as models of success and/or family instead of the Cosby show. It was not realistic and I came from an upper middle class two parent household. Many of my friends did as well and Cosby was never our role model.
&
To Jerome,
You are right, there is a definite double standard. But Polanski did not put himself out there as the example for families everywhere. And the media being hard on someone does not mean (a) the person is innocent nor that (b) the person should not be scrutinized.
&
People in every ethnic groups tend to make excuses for those we do not want to be guilty. But that does not mean they are innocent.
&
Someone made a comment at one of my seminars weeks ago. She said it is a sad state of affairs when our community must pick comedians and talk show hosts as role models.
Forgot to include the source (below) for the first paragraph of my quote, which discusses the need to give stranger rape cases more scrutiny. It is the same source that “Juggling for a Cure” uses below, except that his is not actually a quote and leaves out the most important information. There is nothing in this source that would lead anyone to believe that Cosby is being victimized by an unfair legal system. On the contrary, he will most likely never be held responsible for his crimes since he has the resources to shield himself from the legal system.
Source: “Sex, Race, and Wrongful Convictions.” By Mathew Johnson. October 3, 2013. The Crime Report.
“in adult rape cases . . . false convictions were typically based on eyewitness mistakes, ‘more often than not, mistakes by white victims falsely identifying black defendants…the “stranger rape” cases, as opposed to the “acquaintance” or “date rape” cases, demonstrate the increased risk of wrongful conviction…Thus, stranger rape cases, especially cross-racial ones, warrant special scrutiny. ”
Bill Cosby was not a stranger to his victims, and, unlike the average black man who has to rely on an overworked public defender as his lawyer, public moralist Bill Cosby (“People getting shot in the back of the head over a piece of pound cake! And then we all run out and are outraged, ‘The cops shouldn’t have shot him.’ What the hell was he doing with the pound cake in his hand?”) has a team of highly paid lawyers and publicists to protect him from the criminal justice system.
The more common form of rape is acquaintance rape, and this is what one black woman has to say about it:
“And while, in 2011, African Americans no longer worry about public lynchings, we are consumed with fear about the prison industrial complex and an unfair American legal system. In the minds of some black folks, speaking out about rape means handing over our men to the oppressive “system.” Therefore we make a conscious (or unconscious) decision to sacrifice women’s well-being for the freedom of men.
What’s even more depressing is that many rape victims carry the burden to protect their own attackers, which can lead to low reporting of attacks. “I see this a lot with women who come to us for help,” says Scheherazade Tillet, executive director of A Long Walk Home, an organization that uses art therapy and performance arts to educate people about rape and bring about social change. “Not only do they blame themselves for the attack or wonder what they did to bring it about themselves, but they don’t want to be responsible for sending another black man to prison by going to the police.”
And so essentially, women and girls end up paying for racism by being taught to accept sexism for the sake of the greater good.
The limited statistics available about black women and rape are not encouraging: For every black woman who reports a rape, there are at least 15 who don’t; approximately 40 percent of black women report coercive sexual contact by the age of 18; and almost half of rapes happen to women who live in the third-lowest income distribution. And no, I am not saying that rape and the devaluing of women is something exclusive to black folks — it happens in all racial communities. But at some point, as black people, we have to admit the undeniable: We have a serious problem.
Teaching our youth that masculinity is directly linked to domination and that a girl’s role is to lie down and “take it for the team” has had disastrous consequences. And if race continues to trump gender, young black girls and women not only will continue to suffer at the hands of their attackers but will also fall prey to our own unforgivable depravity.”
“Ain’t I A Victim?” By Kellee Terrell, March 18, 2011. The Root
To Ms. Gonzalez and the other critic of of my article. The TRUTH hurts, but it is the TRUTH. The pursuit of Bill Cosby by the media is completely opposite of the conduct of the media in the cases of Greg Kelly, Roman Polanski who was actually CONVICTED of a crime, and Jerry Jones. Why is this? America would not be going through the social upheaval with Black Lives Matter if the legal system was fair and color blind. The fact of the matter is that even the US government’s own studies validate this fact, and hence why President Obama is pardoning a list of people right now-injustice.
As far as the race criticism-it is racial, why hasn’t ALL the evidence that is mentioned in the article and on the website been put out? Why are the women portrayed as honest virgins with no past when that is opposite of the truth? Why didn’t you address the facts of the voluntary date rape drug use, prostitution, accusers like Beverly Johnson and Janice Dickinson found to be 100% lying about their statements concerning Bill Cosby according to both their manager and THEMSELVES in interviews and books that they did and wrote http://dailycaller.com/2015/01/11/exclusive-cosby-accusers-manager-claims-beverly-johnson-and-janice-dickinson-lied/? In court the rule is if a person perjures themselves, the jury is to assume everything else they say is a lie. Ditto here. If this was a group of Black women accusing Judd Apatow with the record these females have, the media would have branded them liars, whores, and slut-nuts from day 1 and this would all be over.
Like the media, this is “selective criticism.” The FACTS, not what you want to believe point to a money scam like the ones used against Chris Webber, DMX, Michael Irvin, etc.
It’s like with DSK, look at his case and Cosby’s case and yet WHO is portrayed as the bad guy http://www.cnbc.com/2015/06/12/dsk-what-trouble-is-he-in-now.html?
What about Dr. Phil and his case http://perezhilton.com/2009-08-06-dr-phil-accused-of-sexual-abuse#.VfObXRFViko
http://www.thewrap.com/dr-phil-lawsuit-tv-shrink-accused-faking-underage-sex-seeker/?
Why are these men and Jerry Jones not in the headlines all day every day considering what they were alleged to have done? Because they are rich WHITE men and Cosby is a rich BLACK man. The case was dismissed because the judge said it was beyond 5 years old-how old are the accusations against Cosby http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/eye-on-football/24754617/report-jerry-jones-accuser-settle-sexual-assault-lawsuit? Ever heard of Susan Smith, Nina Sharavan, Melissa Reed? Michael Irvin was facing life and Nina Shahravan got 2 weeks in county jail http://www.nytimes.com/1997/01/13/sports/a-woman-s-false-accusation-prompts-reflection.html on a 90 day sentence. Melisa Reed got nothing when she falsely accused Juwan Howard http://articles.chicagotribune.com/1998-11-13/sports/9811130051_1_nba-lockout-juwan-howard-dwight-manley. Susan Smith didn’t just happen to say a Black man jacked her kids, she said it because she knew America would believe it WITHOUT question http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2810058/Slashed-wrists-sex-prison-guards-jailhouse-lesbian-lover-Inside-twisted-world-Susan-Smith-20-years-drowned-sons-blamed-black-man.html.
This is the same double standard with FEMALE teachers that rape their underage students on a DAILY basis-why isn’t all this energy devoted to locking them up? Did you know the #1 killer of children is not strangers or men-but MOTHERS? The media has America thinking opposite so that’s why the situation is never solved. You folks are living in a dream world, these “victims” are players looking to get paid, and Gloria Allred is just out “Bounty Hunting” for camera time and other people’s hard earned money. So when you have some FACTS that counter the REAL WORLD FACTS present them, you do understand your OPINION is not the same as the TRUTH right?
And for the record, females SHOULD stay out of men’s rooms at 3 AM asking him for drugs and alcohol, it says everything we need to know about them and their character. What’s next, I ask a girl out, pick a girl up, take her to a restaurant, and when the check comes I tell HER to pay because I never actually said I would? I did say I was going to pay by my ACTIONS, there is no way any female could take it any other way. But from a woman http://www.mirror.co.uk/3am/celebrity-news/chrissie-hynde-brands-pop-stars-6415590. Rape is ALWAYS wrong and a crime, but it’s like this-I am not walking down a Detroit alley at 2 in the morning counting $100 bills because I don’t want to get robbed. If I do it I will get robbed, and yes the robber still committed a crime, but I should not have been in that alley with that money. I have a responsibility to live in the real world and look out for ME first and foremost.
How difficult is it to research BEFORE writing something like this?
The answer as to why Judy Huth was there (and who brought her there) is in the allegation itself:
When she was only fifteen, Bill Cosby invited Judy Huth and her 16 year old friend to play tennis with him at his country club. The girls met him him there, and then followed him to a house where they played billiards and Cosby engaged in drinking games with them. For every game that he won, Huth was to drink a beer. Later, as a “surprise”, Cosby took them to the Playboy Mansion. They didn’t know where they were going until they got there, and Cosby told them to lie and say they were 19 if anyone asked. Bill Cosby was 37 years old at the time. Obviously, it is never OK for a man old enough to be a child’s father to engage in sexual relations with her…
Chloe Goins, on the other hand, was old enough to be at the mansion. Her presence there, however, did not make assaulting her something she “asked for.”
As for all of the race baiting, it’s absolutely ridiculous. You’ve shown your lack of intelligence with this piece, and you’re helping to seal opinions of people like Karen Gonzalez. Bravo!
While anyone is subject to criticism, only Black men receive the type of Frankenstein hunt-down that is being done to Bill Cosby. Some of the other men accused of sex crimes are Brad Pitt, John Travolta, David Copperfield, Sean Penn, and Al Gore. Why the seek and destroy mission against Cosby while silent on others accused?
Black men are 65 percent of the people accused of – and imprisoned for – sexual assaults. This while African-American men only constitute 7.5 percent of U.S.’s population. Also Black men are 62 percent of the people DNA testing has exonerated from false imprisonment. So African-American men are disproportionately imprisoned not because they are disproportionately committing crimes, but are disproportionately imprisoned due to their being more fiercely pursued – as we are witnessing being done to Cosby.

Really? I never wanted to believe the accusations against Bill Cosby. He is an American institution. That said, I find this article to be disgusting. Cosby is innocent because white women are the accusers? What a bunch of bull. I am so sick of the white/black crap.
Let me ask the author this….if it was a white celebrity facing the same accusations as Cosby by black women would the article be the same? You have just turned me against Cosby. I am sick of the race game. I am sure that I am not the only white to feel this way. Keep up the racist bull and see where it all leads.
