(ThyBlackMan.com) It seems that the money man Floyd Mayweather Jr. is missing out on what he loves just as much as boxing, and that’s money. Yes he has netted $85 million dollars from whooping folks and knocking them out cold, but I realized one thing. I haven’t seen him in any endorsements to my knowledge, which ain’t much since I’m not a sports guru. But I have not seen Floyd Mayweather Jr. on a cereal box, in a Hanes commercial or even selling Luxury Buicks.
With all of the money that Floyd Mayweather Jr. has made, his raw athletic talent and his unique charisma he has yet to grab a hold of any multi-million dollar endorsement deals. I wonder why?
Maybe Floyd Mayweather Jr.’s past legal problems are blocking him from making a few more millions. Because we do know that a tarnished reputation will keep advertisers away. Look at Tiger Woods and the scandal of his marriage. When news got out that he was a playa playa advertisements pulled out with the quickness and I still don’t believe that he’s fully recovered from that one.
Floyd Mayweather Jr. portrays himself to be the bad guy and he is very well known for flaunting his money. He’s been seen literally throwing money around as if they were pennies. But this bad boy image is what keeps people spending their money in order to see him knock somebody out on HBO. So would you stop portraying yourself as such? I don’t think I would.
Spending time behind bars does not help Floyd Mayweather Jr. either. How can we forget the time he spent in jail for domestic violence? We all know he had no business putting his hands on anyone other than another boxer in the ring.
Hell his hands are a deadly weapon. Am I right? Even with his talent Floyd Mayweather Jr. has issues just like the rest of us and obviously these issues are most likely being used against him. It seems that advertisers are not trying to have a person with a domestic violence charge on their box of cereal.
But I guess if I made 85 million I would not be concerned with having some endorsement thrown my way, especially when my name and presence alone brings in millions.
So until Floyd Mayweather Jr. goes into retirement for good maybe he should stick with what he knows best and that’s boxing.
Oh and while we’re on the topic of Floyd Mayweather Jr. did I mention that his fiancée Shantel Jackson may be cheating according to the rumor mill. I suppose they have this tit for tat thing going on since Floyd Mayweather Jr. has made it pretty clear that he loves to be with different women and lots of them. Supposedly he feels that he can be with as many women as he wants. Why? Because he’s Floyd Mayweather Jr., he’s filthy rich and he can pay for it.
So I guess Ms. Shantel says what’s good for the goose is good for the gander. It’s been reported by Mommy’s Dirty Little Secret that Shantel might have a side piece of her own in actress Vivica Fox’s former fiancé Omar Slim. Maybe Floyd Mayweather is getting his pay back.
See what 85 million can get you? For 85 million you too can have a woman that does not have a problem with you sleeping around. Floyd Mayweather Jr. may not have endorsement money, but he still has what so many men want. Money! Women! And mo money!

The whole part unique selling point of floyd is his exclusivity and self sustainable. It’s pretty well documented he wants to become the worlds highest paid sports star on gate and PPV money alone. As for getting endorsments If you actually believe the number 1 p4p fighter would struggle getting one you are ridiculous.
been trying to find Floyd endorsements till i found one in youtube. just search on youtube “Mayweather vs. Pacquiao Endorsements”.
Nobody will like to associate their products name to Mayweather Jr and to you too.
when you think that you would get a positive comments, you will open your comments box but if you feel lots of negative comments then your comments box is closed.
Why would a fortune 5000 companies would associate themselves to the greatest boxer of this generation with a villain attitude inside and outside the ring? Endorsement is to make people buys products and services. He could have been the likes of Jordan, Woods, Messi and other cross-over athletes should he has been better person outside the ring. However, it’s the other boxer who is ripping the benefits of endorsements, politics, showbiz, advocacies and you name it. In fact, this guy has been featured to CNN many times for all his kind deeds.
His boxing skills is more than enough to make himself very rich but without humility it wont make him the likes of those I have mentioned above. It wont even make him legend in boxing. Yes today he is the greatest in boxing but he will never be the greatest of all time. Ali is still the one, probably the other guy who he wants to pay 40M without share in ppv is comparable to Ali. Once this guys bounce back and continue to succeed outside the ring, then Pretty Boy’s claim of being the greatest of all time will be crowned to the PACMAN.
Floyd is bitch that is why he got no endorsement. sane company will never affiliated with Floyd Mayweather Jr. name, yes he got tons of money but you shouldn’t forget to mention the taxman took 40% of every Floyds income.
