(ThyBlackMan.com) Billboard.com reports that supporters of Congressman Ron Paul (R-TX), a candidate for the Republican presidential nomination, hacked the Twitter accounts of No Doubt, Nicole Scherzinger and Rise Against Wednesday morning.
According to Billboard.com, a Ron Paul endorsement appeared on the Twitter accounts of No Doubt, Nicole Scherzinger and Rise Against at roughly the same time Wednesday morning. The owners of the Twitter handles removed the tweets shortly after they appeared.
The offending tweets, which Billboard.com was able to obtain before they were removed, read: “Today We Officially Endorse Ron Paul 2012 Donate to him here http://bit.ly/yDrrFI #ronpaulrevolution.” “If you actually read what Ron Paul is saying, you will discover that for the first time in your life a politician is not lying to you,” read another tweet.
This incident is reminiscent of Kelly Clarkson’s controversial endorsement of Ron Paul via Twitter. “I love Ron Paul. I liked him a lot during the last republican nomination and no one gave him a chance. If he wins the nomination for the Republican party in 2012 he’s got my vote. Too bad he probably won’t,” Kelly Clarkson tweeted.
Immediately following her endorsement of the Texas congressman Ron Paul, Ms. Clarkson was inundated with angry tweets from her followers. “Oh my god I’ve never been more disappointed I thought you were smarter wow,” tweeted one follower.
Shortly after Ms. Clarkson’s Ron Paul endorsement, a number of news stories surfaced claiming that the endorsement had boosted sales of the American Idol winner’s new album. However, the stories turned out to be misguided. Heavy promotion of Ms. Clarkson’s new album on iTunes was responsible for the singer’s soaring album sales.
Ron Paul is not shaken by this incident. Ron Paul doesn’t promote this type of activity. With that Ron Paul is ready to take on the fake president Barack Obama. Ron Paul 2012 history in the making.
