(ThyBlackMan.com) In a time when Fatherhood is a hot button issue in the African American community and beyond actor/rapper Tray Chaney releases a music video for his new song titled Fatherhood that hits the mark. Many will recognize Chaney from his role as Poot Carr on HBO’s hit show The Wire.

The video which was directed  by Blackandmarriedwithkids.com CoFounder Lamar Tyler and produced by  Don Cox has created buzz all over the web. In just it’s first 24 hours of release the video has already been well received gaining thousand of views and popping up on some of the Internet’s most prominent sites such as Essence.com, Clutch Magazine, Thisis50.com and many others.

The video which includes Chaney’s own father and son lends voice to the critical issue of Fatherhood in communities across the country. “I went into this project with the hopes of addressing the challenges of fathers. It’s important to remember our responsibilities towards our children and ourselves,” says Chaney. The single for Fatherhood is currently available for download on iTunes.com
