(ThyBlackMan.com) It has taken me a couple of days to gather my thoughts in a way that I would be able to share with you all. In the course of two days, we have watched two black men die on camera at the hands of murderers masquerading as police officers. Although this happens every day in our country, these two killings have really rocked many of us in the black community. I think it is one thing to hear of these tragic occurrences with a flash of a stranger’s picture and a quick report on what “allegedly” happened. However, it is something totally different to actually be an eye witness to such heinous crimes being committed by the very people that have sworn to protect and serve our communities.
I am a black man, father, brother, son, uncle, nephew, and friend. These tragedies are heartbreaking, but they also speak to the reality we as blacks face in this country. Each and every day we step out into a society that places little to no value on the lives of black men, women, or children. I cannot express the helplessness that I often feel as a man in this type of atmosphere. I am supposed to be the PROTECTOR, PROVIDER, and EXAMPLE for my young son, my family, and even my community. But far too often, black men seem to be in need of protection, or the people who need to be provided for or even the people that the example is being made.
How does a black man effectively perform his duties and responsibilities in a society where something as simple as a traffic stop can end in murder?
In my opinion, there has always been an attack on blacks in this country. The crazy thing is that out of all of the groups here in the US, we are the only culture of people that were actually brought here against our own will. Our ancestors built, fought, and died for the very country that has historically treated us like animals, capitalize on our gifts and talents and use it for entertainment, and at best we are treated like second class citizens. They have historically killed us in front of our women, our children, and with the rise of social media, now the world. With the injustice that continues to happen in the judicial system and the senseless murders of innocent black men, people still find a way to pass the blame. Well, “If he wasn’t dressed like that” or “If he just cooperated with the officer…” We have even heard, “if he wasn’t so Black then he wouldn’t have lost his life.”
As a man, what do you do when that is what you hear?
Tell us what this means. Why is our race constantly asked to act less free in this so-called free country? How can I as a man look my son in the eyes and promise him that his daddy will always be there for him when I can’t guarantee that I’ll even make it home at the end of a regular work day or a night out with friends? I don’t believe that many people can even begin to understand the weight that we as black men and women carry around on a day-to-day bases. We, too, have goals and aspirations, families that we want to raise and protect, and even friends that we love and care about.
Just like any other race or group in this country. We are taught to obey and respect the laws and law officers. We are taught to work 100 times harder than most people just to get by. We are taught that if we just comply we will be accepted and respected in this county. Yet in tragedies similar to what we have witnessed over the past couple of days, we are still the people left with the burden of proving that #BlackLivesMatter.
The leaders and founders of the “Black Lives Matter (BLM)” movement are dangerous because they are angry people who are reacting emotionally instead of responding based on intellect and clear cut strategic planning.
Their approach is obvious and expected – and what is expected can be prepared for then neutralized. People like many of those in BLM are dangerous, impulsive, unpredictable and could get us all killed in a march or protest. Have I spoken to them? Many times. But they are impatient and they see strategic planning as foolishness or a form of backing down. They neither know nor overstand the art of war and that makes them dangerous yet again.
They neither understand the totality of the war that has been launched against the African American community nor do they know how to fight it nor are they prepared to do so on a logistical nor operational basis, practically speaking. My concern is that BLM leaders are so focused on anger and using the tactic of disruption that they are playing right into the hands of those they see as the enemy and about to end up on the FBI watch list. Strategically that is neither covert nor smart.
The people at the top of the Black Lives Matter movement do not overstand how to win a war. They are ready to fight tanks with rocks and bottles, get locked up and lose their jobs when that is not needed and make enemies when there are other ways to get things done. They do not realize the tactics being used against them go much further than brutal police officers. They do not know how to spot saboteurs or agitators placed inside the group to promote violence. They do not see that the oppressive powers that be are not only waiting on BLM disruptions, these powers are counting on it and well prepared for it.
There are much better ways than placing African Americans at further risk. Better ways than calling for cops to be attacked or fried. Better ways than isolating potential supporters and causing further division in the African American community. BLM has no idea of the machine it is up against. Research CointelPro or the King Alfred Plan or Rex 84 or Agenda 21 or the power of the NDAA President Obama signed and you will see what I mean.
Unfortunately a war has been waged on the African American community. But our solutions must not be mostly confrontational, impulsive, anger-driven reactions. Apparently Black Lives Matter has forgotten (or never knew) how much Martin Luther King Jr. and so many others accomplished without ever throwing a rock or starting a riot. And of course we should speak truth to power but not coupled with ignorance and confrontations that would leave us at a further disadvantage.
No group can effectively make demands unless they are well organized, strategic, supported and able to bring about a consequence when those demands are not met – a consequence that does not leave those making the demands neutralized or annihilated. I do not advocate violence when there are so many other lawful ways to stop police brutality against African Americans. I know because I teach these other solutions every month in seminars around his country and they work. But a group comprised of so many people (not all) inside Black Lives Matters that wants to simply point fingers, stay angry and cause disruption will go down in history as vessels of anarchy and confusion, not vessels of change.
The world is watching “black on black” crime as it wipes out many more African Americans every year than the police do. But groups like BLM refuse to tackle that issue and by trying to avoid it, they are seen as hypocrites. Millions of unborn African American children have been killed by abortions due to promiscuous women/girls and irresponsible men/boys in our community, but Black Lives Matter does not want to address that either. There are very few marches, no riots and there is practically no outrage coming from our youth nor BLM about these problems.
The world watches and asks if black lives really matter to “black” people. Do they? Do they really? Or have too many programmed “black people” began to lead the way with the guide or rule book on how to treat, mistreat, abuse and kill “black people”? We can blame racism, slavery, racists and oppression for some of this but the rest of the fault is our own, like it or not.
Our solutions are judicial. Our solutions are sociological. Our solutions are economic, as we saw on “Black Friday”. Our solutions are political, especially with an election on the horizon. Our solutions are spiritual – or has BLM forgotten the power that resides there? Our solutions are cultural. Our solutions are hard hitting, yet without rocks, bats, bottles, guns or riots. But our solutions must not be emotionally charged reactions of confrontation and disruption. Nor must our solutions be hypocritical. Not if we want to reach a major victory in overcoming the problem.
African American lives matter because black is the “color” of your car tires, it was never the color of your skin. When you realize the impact of that statement, you will wake up to why we treat each other the way we do and why other ethnic groups follow suit. And when enough of our people wake up, we can draw a line in the sand that others will hesitate or refuse to cross. But on that day, we will realize that we cannot cross it with each other either. Wake up!
AFRICAN AMERICANS ARE NOT BLACK
It amazes me how many of you are still brainwashed to call yourselves BLACK. Black is not an identity and scientifically black is not even a color. It is next to nothing. Black is the “color” of your car tires, not your skin. The white oppressive slave trader called you black and himself white to set up a contrast and to attach negative images and denotations to you based on a lie about color. Look up BLACK in the dictionary.
Research even shows that blacks are perceived by other groups as very different from African Americans. But we still keep calling ourselves what someone else defined us as, what we are not and what has a negative dictionary denotation in society. WAKE UP. LOOK AT THE REAL COLOR OF YOUR SKIN. YOU ARE NOT BLACK. You are an African American. The lie of calling us black and defining us by color (the wrong color) has been in place so long that our people accept it as truth – but it’s not. Know your colors.
Native Americans do not allow others to call them red men. Asians do not accept being called yellow men. Hispanics do not answer to “what’s up brown man”. And Caucasians are not white, notebook paper is white. Wake up and see the plan where white racist supremacists plotted to redefine our people from Africa. STOP CALLING YOURSELF SOMETHING THAT YOU ARE NOT!
AFRICAN AMERICANS ARE NOT BLACK.
Black is the “color” of your car tires, not your skin author. Being called “black” is a lie and it should be offensive. Haitians, Jamaicans and even Africans do not accept being called “black”, Why do you think that is? They are identified by tribes, klans, geographic areas and their respective countries. By using the very term black to describe us, we are doing the following:
1. Using a term white oppressors and slave masters gave us.
2. Letting someone else define us other than our own people.
3. Calling ourselves something we are not.
4. Buying into thee lie and the negative denotation. Check the dictionary.
5. Being set apart in a way that no other ethnic group allows. Native Americans are not called Red Man. Asians are not called Yellow Man. Hispanics are not called Brown Man. They do not and will not accept being defined by color and by some other race or ethnic group at that.
6. Ignoring our actual color (brown) which means brainwashing has worked. Any time someone can get an entire race, ethnic group or culture to ignore what they are and call themselves what they factually are not, THEY HAVE BEEN INDOCTRINATED, ASSIMILATED AND BRAINWASHED.
7. Playing right into the oppressor’s profiles and stereotypes. Did you know studies show there is a different perception of black people than there is of African Americans? Words create perceptions and perceptions create actions towards us.
WAKE UP. You know your colors. And even though others around the world equated our ancestors with the color of the soil in Africa or the meaning of negro/negroid, that does not change the fact that WE ARE BROWN – NOT BLACK.
If you look in the dictionary or send an email to brainstormonline@yahoo.com, I will send you the research. Facts are facts and YOU ARE BROWN, NOT BLACK. When you receive the revelation of why they keep calling African Americans “black” and Caucasian people “white”, you may just wake up!
STOP LETTING OTHER GROUPS DEFINE YOU WITH AN OBVIOUS LIE that we have heard and accepted so much that we believe it’s true and forget our colors. The de-programming has to take root or African Americans will forever be defined, limited and oppressed by those who get us to accept a lie.
